As my friend recommended, I asked Kevin to cut and dye my hair. I was a bit nervous in the beginning cause I haven’t done anything with my hair for almost 2 years. I decided to let him style my hair and advised me the best color to dye. He worked really careful on my hair and gave me a lot of advices to take care of my hair at home. He was so nice and friendly in general. As a result, I get a perfect colored hair style and it just makes me so happy until now. I totally love it and definitely recommend to my friends and my colleagues. Thanks Kevin!!!

I have never had my make up done professionally, so I decided to check on Unilocal for an make up artist. After reading many reviews, I felt that I HAD to have Kevin do my makeup and hair for my friends wedding. I am so glad I booked an appointment with him. I LOVE his work! He’s creative, caring and funny. We clicked right off the bat. He made me feel welcomed and comfortable, since this was my first time and I will only go to Kevin for all my future needs (at least the ones he can provide lol). I have another appointment on Sat for Kevin to do my ombré hair color!

Just like the many other reviews, I too do a three hour round trip just to get a haircut from the grandmaster hair stylist Kevin. It is so hard to find superior stylists for men’s hair. Most of them are these ghetto 7 dollar, lets use a shaver to trim your cut kind of hair shops. Forget those places and hit up Kavin. He has style and an eye. The primary cut is all done by precision scissor work with some trim cleanup with the razor. Every single time, Kevin knocks it out of the ball park. It has probably been about four years that I have been privileged with getting my haircut by Kevin. I sometimes fear that he will continue thriving with his singing and makeup artist career that he will end up abandoning being a hair stylist. My point is, book him while you can. Expect friendly service and great conversations every time. Also, I recommend booking him ahead of time as you will never know if he is off on some fashion or liveshow project. A++++++

I haven’t had short hair for almost 25 years, but decided it was finally time for a change. I chopped off 14 inches and dyed my hair for the very first time too! Kevin was so gentle and comforting through out the whole process. I absolutely LOVE my new look and have gotten many many compliments about it as well!
I am definitely only trusting Kevin with my hair from now on!

Kevin has cut my hair for 8 years now — so I can say with certainty that he is consistent and has a natural/​raw ability to please his clients with the final product.
The best thing about Kevin (if I HAD to pick only one thing) I would have to say it is his ability to give you suggestions on your cut based on so many factors like:
— How often you can come visit him
— What the current trends or future trends
are
— Your hair texture
— Natural tendencies of your hair
— Your personality and vibe you want to
give off
Kevin has an eccentric, open and super-​loving personality that makes any of his clients feel comfortable. His clients open up and show their personality — and he translates that into their cut.
When I visit him now, I sit down, Kevin considers the things I listed above and just begins working his magic! I fully trust him (and hair is a big deal to me!!) and his attention to the fine details is amazing.
One day, I sat down and he said he was going to cut off 5+ inches of my hair and give me an A-​line bob cut. I thought he was crazy! — but I trust him — so he did it.
My oh my… a few months later the A-​line cut became a trend and people would literally stop me at the mall, get my attention at a stop light, come up to me while I’m dining at a restaurant. just to ask me who cut my hair! There is something about Kevin’s skills that makes even the most common, trendy cuts look extraordinary.
He is a MUST-​TRY! What a talented guy with a spunky, fun personality to top it off.

I could never find someone competent enough to cut my hair until I met Kevin. Kevin is the only person that I go to to cut my hair. Every time he cuts my hair I am always 100% satisfied. I drive almost 2 hours both ways just to let him cut my hair. I recently changed my hairstyle to a combover and gotten so many compliments thanks to Kevin! I just tell him and show him a picture on how I wanted it cut and he gives me his feedback based on the hair type you have and transforms it into something amazing! He is the only hairstylist that I’ve been to that I feel like cares about his work. His personalty always makes each visit fun and exciting!

Ever since my teen years i’ve gone to Kevin (Dung) for all my haircuts and even my prom makeup and hair! Every time I go to him, he doesn’t disappoint and because of this I don’t want to risk going to anyone else. He’s very knowledgable about what works best for you and the recent trends. I entrust him with my hair and I know that in the end, it will turn out great because it always has! He has a great upbeat personality and every haircut is enjoyable! he’s my go to hair stylist!

I had really long hair past my waist for a decade but never really took time to style it, it was always in a pony tail. I also never stuck to one stylist or salon, reason being the service and results were never consistent. I then met Kevin and he convinced me to try a new hairdo. I was hesitant at first but decided I needed a change. I decided to go drastic and gave Kevin some ideas I had in mind. Kevin provided his opinion and told me to trust him. When I came in, he chopped off about 16 inches of my hair (we donated it), he then colored it (without me even knowing what the color is) and then added highlights. I was nervous about how it would look but I knew he had good taste so I wasn’t worried. After about 2 hours of cutting, dying, setting, and styling, I came out looking and feeling like a brand new person. The cut really reflected my personality. I loved it! It was the best transformation I ever had. When I came home, my husband just gawked with lust in his eyes. His friends were there and joked saying «he has a new girlfriend». 2 months later I returned for a touch-​up but decided to even go higher in the back. Kevin knew what I wanted and did exactly what I had asked for. It’s like he read my mind. He is a young and brilliant stylist. He takes his time and really knows what the customer wants. Now I have a place I can call home for my hair needs. Thanks Kevin!

I don’t trust a lot of people with my hair, but I know Kevin always does an amazing job. Even though I have Asian hair, he was able to make me a blondie! Everyone complimented me on my hair and wanted to know where I got it done. Not only is Kevin a master in his craft, but he is also an artist with a vision. He is passionate about what he does and he is a people’s person. He listens to you and caters to your needs. He is the absolute best in his field, and you won’t want to go anywhere else after! Kevin is one of the most talented hair stylists or just stylist in general, that I know! He is literally a genius. I have followed him on facebook and have seen his work his magic on people for a while now and I am always amazed by his young and classy taste. It wasn’t till recently when I finally got styled by him and watch him do other people’s hair as well as direct an entire team of stylists and make up artist that I realized how much potential this guy has. If you have the chance, work with him right away, because with a talent like his… he won’t be available for long!

I’ve been going to Kevin for the past 10 years for hair and makeup. The reason I keep coming back is because he is simply the best and meticulous with detail.
