Guess the other«closed» listing was the wrong address?!? Oh well here we go again!!! A clean, well-lighted place,& a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I have been pleased w/this IHOP since it opened several years ago. At first it was open 24 hours, but there just isn’t the patronage to support those hours in this ‘minster. 6 am — 12 Midnite is still plenty impressive in these parts. This maybe a franchise, but it’s a step way up vs. other area diners, whether chain OR «Local.» I have had occasional problems, but they have always been made right. Management is visible & available whenever the need has arisen. Call me mumsy or dowdy, but at this stage of my life all i really need is a family-friendly, relatively quiet, quick turnaround, simple, familiar joint. … w/free refills. Even a to-go cup, free for the asking ;-) Some of the servers are sharper than others, but I am always made to feel welcome. Love their high-back booths, my trigger points stay copacetic long enough to savor the meal. Oh,& the booth tables adjust! Yes, little things mean alot. Can’t put a price on. .yada yada. I admit, I have a loooooong history w/IHOP, back several decades when it was still International House Of Pancakes. I have many fond, tasty memories from my childhood that include IHOP. Now I’m pleased to be making new, fresher& even tastier memories w/my own kids. Trends & fads come & go; my kids’ tastes may change overnight; but double blueberry pancakes are alive & well, just waiting for me at my IHOP.(They even have carry-out now, too. ;-)
