Illiano’s J&P Restaurant

The food has been good, their customer service not do much. If you want a decent pizza outside of the national chains these guys are a good alternative. I prefer carry out for this place.

For my first order ever at J&P I ordered a chicken caesar salad and although it look appetizing it was covered in water. Like I mean a ¼ of a cup of water. My croutons were soggy and my chicken was dry. I paid $ 8 for this salad. When I called to see if I could get my money back thy said since I paid online there was nothing they could do other thank give me a credit for the next time. There will be no next time! Very unsatisfied.

We really used to like this place, which annoys me all the more.
Formerly a 4 – 5 place when they first opened. Sadly, have steadily declined over the years. Kids REFUSE to eat here anymore. The service used to be friendly & welcoming, but the last time (WHEN THERE WAS CINNAMON IN THE TOMATO SAUCE! :-(& our server just SHRUGGED, took the plate of ravioli away (barely touched) & still charged me for it!!! The ice tea was rancid (she replaced that w/​fresher coffee), the meat sauce was mega greasy (had to blot it w/​napkins!!)
The only saving grace was the basket of bread (half was yummy“pizza dough”, the rest greasy, tough sub rolls drenched in powdery garlic «butter» **ugh**)
The pizza sauce was greasy & weird, too, most ended up in a“doggie-bag” we left behind **oops** :-P

Used to crave their chicken salad, now the Rotissire Chix Salad from Giant’s Deli on ANY bread is better!
The only thing they still have going for them seems to be their“on-off” Liquor license… but there’s a MUCH cheaper Liquor store across the street if you needs booze (AND a superior Local pizzeria :-!

Service was great!!! Had a HUGE reunion dinner of 25 people and the waitress was amazing! My family was from out of town and loved the variety of food. J&P even accommodated us after I miscounted how many people were to be there, they quickly added a table. Like I said, even though there was one waitress she was AMAZING!!! She made sure our drinks were filled and took the time to figure out separate checks. I will definitely be coming back for the service and delicious food.

Sad but a perfect example of a restaurant billing itself as an Italian restaurant to local folks that never really experienced good everyday Italian food.

First off I’m not from the area, we’re on vacation and I just have to say that while yes the pizza is good, the Owners wait staff and just about everyone in between are some of the rudest people I have ever come across. Don’t change an order, himmm and haw ask questions or anything that might be considered «indisive»
I URGE ALL OF YOU TO FIND ANOTHER PIZZA PLACE. You will thank me later

The food is absolutely horrible. I ordered a sandwich on their homemade bread– shame on thrm for calling themselves italian and having such terrible bread. Then, they tottally made the sandwich incorrecrly. Waitresses were barely around so i had to go back into the kitchen myself to tell them about my incorrectly msde sandwhiches. Their pizza is not good at all either. To do toppings, they just tske their cheese pizza and plop veggies on at the end rather than putting the pizza and vegies in the oven together. Bad food, bad pizza, bad service. I wont be returning

We just ate here and it was awful. The waitress was incredibly rude, the calamari was chewy and after two bites of a disgusting chicken piccata she still charged us $ 16 for it.

Only have been here once and won’t come back. Booth seats are cracked and dirty, and food came out tasting old. Had to return eggplant parmesean sub for tasting old and looking grey and husband’s chicken was «off» even though he ate it anyway and his stomach paid for it later. French fries and zucchini fries were good. Waitress did not know any questions regarding the menu but later changed her attitude and was nice. Disappointed, love the J&P in Finksburg

Got sick after having the Tuscany salad. Suspect under cooked salmon was the cause. Been there several times, service varies from good to fair.

Best place I’ve found to get a crab cake!!! Hardly any filler, and even has lump meat in it! LOVE IT!
Wait staff, very friendly… food, awesome!
Also if you love spicy & seafood, try the seafood medley with the fradivilo (spicy marinara) sauce. It’s to die for! yummmmm

Everything here is great. Probably the best cheese pizza I’ve ever had. The fish sub is AMAZING… my and a co-​worker eat it once a week! Their bruschetta appetizer is HUGE. Go online for weekly specials!

I have both eaten here and gotten take-​out. The selection is extensive, and I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered. When eating in, the service was extremely attentive and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. I am not sure if they do delivery.
Portion sizes are huge. Recently I ordered the meat-​lovers’ spaghetti (which by the way was fantastic) off the specials menu when eating in the restaurant and not only did I have to get a to-​go box, but it lasted me for two more dinners at home.
There are other J&P’s locations (check their website) but I have only been to this one.
It’s not the best pizza in the area (go just to the other side of 140 to Classico’s for that), but it’s pretty good.
