The specialty pizza was very good, really enjoyed the crust — nice & crispy. Also ordered the Arancini Balls, which were a pleasant surprise. This appetizer was a lot bigger than anticipated it was more like a meal. Placed carry out order, it was ready upon arrival and the staff were pleasant & friendly. Good enough to order again!

I love their pizza. The sauce makes the pizza for sure! The Greek salad is one of my favorites as well. It’s not just your basic iceberg lettuce. I can say I’m definitely a regular here!

I waited over an hour for a Ceasar Salad with dressing on the side. Guess what didn’t get delivered? The dressing on the side! Ever eat lettuce, croutons, and parmesan cheese dry? Bugs Bunny, I’m not.

Just had a party and decided to get party sub from mangia. It was a hit! It came with spicy mustard, mayo, and a oil and vinegar. I came in the day before to place the order and when I showed up at the agreed time is was ready to go. Also I saw a bruschetta come out of the oven and decided to try that out. Awesome! Picture to show it but believe me it’s tasty. Keep it up!

Let me first start by saying I’m partially Italian. And I’m very specific about Italian food. My grandmother used to always comfort me with the many flavors she used in her foods and always reminds me of the decadent flavors of Italy. I’ve always enjoyed the mom and pop shops as they always have the best. I initially visited this place simply because I got a certificate and this was in my area. I ordered a pizza, meatball sub(at the suggestion of a previous Unilocaler) and a salad(or so I thought). The pizza was ok. It lacked the right cheeses, oil and seasoning on the crust. The meatball sub was a huge disappointment. The sauce, although you could tell it was made from scratch, lacked the kick of garlic. I prefer a more robust yet flavorful sauce and the tomatoes seemed to be the only flavor inside. You should taste basil, oregano, garlic and many other beautiful complimentary flavors in your sauce. The bread lacked seasoning and flavor. I ended up putting olive oil and some of my own personal seasoning on it. The meatballs were bland. I thought I was ordering a salad with chicken on it and instead got chicken salad. And there was nothing appealing about the taste. I won’t be visiting this place again. If you can’t handle the truth, or a difference in opinions of people, you shouldn’t own a business. If I spend MY money somewhere, I’m going to give my honest opinion. Sending threatening or insulting messages only makes you look like an idiot.

Our neighbor recommended Mangia so we gave it a try. Their Greek Salad with chicken is amazing, I crave it and order it more than I’d like to admit ;) their calzones are really good too.

Great Subs! We have gotten take out two times from Mangia. The first was delivery and the second pick up. The food was great. I tried the Cuban sub, the Chicken Parm sub, Chicken Carb. Sub, chicken fingers, roasted? chicken and fried cheese sticks. The chicken fingers and Cuban sub were my faves. The chicken parm sub was tasty but had peppers and grilled chicken. It wasn’t what I expected but tasty. Same with the chicken carb. Sub. The oven roasted chicken was dry, and the skin was rubbery. I won’t order that again. :-( The Cuban sub was awesome. Not Vincentes in Detroit, but surprisingly good for a pizza place. I will return, but will order pretty far in advance as both times took over 1 hour.

One of the best meatball subs I’ve ever had! Everything was homemade. The meatballs had great flavor, marinara sauce when added a little bit of crushed pepper was perfectly zesty. I’m excited to come back for the raviolis and of course adding a meatball or two :)

I was in town from Phoenix visiting and my cousin took me to dinner with friends at Mangias pizza. We were greeted by Frank and welcomed in his restaurant. He made us feel like family, our salad was very good and the pizza was awesome. We hung out for 2 hrs sitting and eating and having great conversation. All the employees made us feel like the only guests in the place. I highly recommend you try this family restaurant. John K

This place is a family favorite! Love both the regular and deep dish pizzas. They use real mozzarella and take care to make sure it’s cooked perfectly. Greek salad has romaine, not just iceberg lettuce, and is loaded with toppings. Best BLT ever, too– has crispy bacon every time and on delicious Italian focaccia instead of crappy white bread.

I’ve been going to the Chimento family for more than 20 for my Italian cooking needs. Previously, Frank Sr.(Frank) owned Chimento’s Italian Market in Livonia which closed around 2008. Frank Sr’s son, Frank Jr(Frankie) opened this pizzeria around 2009. When it’s time to make the family recipe spaghetti sauce, I order all the meats from Frankie. Just like papa used to make! Their pizzas are better than any chain-pizza, hands down. Sandwiches — awesome! You must stop by on a Wednesday night for all-you-can-eat pasta. Tubs of fresh, delicious, unique pasta dishes for a great price. I cannot recommend this place enough; I’ve not been disappointed with their food in 20 years.
