In the northern part of Westland, there’s this place that serves some of the best American and Middle Eastern food you imagine all at a reasonable prices. To some this might look like a typical greasy spoon, but don’t let the looks deceive you. This place is a real oasis in the middle of the desert. Fadi, the owner and chef has a real passion for cooking. He knows how to please the most discriminating of taste buds, by cooking your order the way you want it. Believe me, you won’t leave this place feeling unsatisfied, or with an empty stomach. Likewise, he always comes over and asks you how your meal is going, and if your satisfied or not. For my first time here, I decided to order some fish and chips, with a salad, topped with French Dressing. The salad was fresh and delicious to say the least. Likewise, the fish and chips were outstanding. Fadi, always orders fresh cod for this entrée, and you can taste the difference.

Staff was very friendly. The chicken shawarma was so good, I’ll definitely be back. The garlic sauce was delocious. The fries that came with it were served hot and very crispy which I loved. I was slighly disappointed in the hummus and pita bread appetizer but other than that I was very pleased with my visit. Can’t wait to try the breakfast buffet!

Ate here a few months ago, tried the breakfast buffet. Food was pretty good. They special made the waffles so they don’t sit there and get soggy. Staff was super nice too. Will be coming back here again.

So glad I discovered this little gem! My favorite dish is their fantastic chicken shawarma sandwich. It’s ALLWHITEMEATCHICKEN! I have never had shawarma with all white meat, which is usually the only part of a chicken I eat. The sandwich has freshly made tangy garlic sauce, which is the best I’ve had in years, and you can get the sandwich, fries, and a drink on special during the week for around $ 6.50. Can’t beat it! I have to say, there was a bad review about the treatment at the restaurant, but I have only had the friendliest, best service from all the staff, cook, and owner. The owner always drops by to see how we’re doing and is extremely friendly. Oh, they have also have a fantastic breakfast buffet on weekends, which means I’m usually found at the Good Day Café at least twice a week for breakfast AND lunch.
