Stopped in with the in-laws on the way home from the airport because we were starving. The«rustic log cabin with a twist» ambience was nice, service was decent, and the food was, too. It’s more of a «go drink with your buddies» than«family meal out» kind of place, but it worked OK for our purposes. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back, but I wouldn’t avoid it, either.

Had a great meal, salmon was on point, shrimp was succulent, great atmosphere with a live band. Our waitress Lindsey was phenominal!

My favorite restaurant. I highly recommend the road kill platter. Haven’t been there in a while, heard they got rid of the pool tables so if thats true then it’s a 4star.

BANDNIGHT This is regarding a night with a band, so keep that in mind… The place was loud, crowded, the band wasn’t great and the sound guy was even worse. We went on a recommendation of a friend who frequented during the day and calmer nights, so we were all a little surprised at the atmosphere. We were expecting something a little more chill, instead it was a lot of people just getting drunk(but still having a good time). However, the menu looked reasonable and our server was very nice. I gave them 4⁄5 because even though I didn’t really enjoy the experience, it might be for you if that is what you are looking for. I’ve heard good things about the place from other people.

Food quality is horrible with new owner. French onion soup tasted like straight salt. Chicken breast on the salad had no flavor and prices have gone up! Old owner also gave out cookies with your lunch order too(a nice surprise after lunch). And I over heard a server tell a guest«can’t do that, new owner, new rules» New owner should really look around as to why the place was empty. I will not visit this place again. Much better restaurants in the area with much better food and better prices

Boy do I miss the original Beaver Creek. The new owner has turned a neighborhood favorite that we used to eat at once or twice a week to somewhere we will NEVER go again. The service is terrible. We waited for over 10 minutes for the waitress to come and check on our drinks and I had to finally go to the bar to exchange my own drink which was almost all water(and they replaced it with one that was just as bad), They have severely decreased the menu and changed up a lot of the things we used to go there for. The fish and chips(which used to be the best around) was under cooked and soggy, the salad was pretty much just lettuce, the music was WAY too loud for a Sunday evening dinner crowd — we could not even talk to each other. They are turning a one of a kind place into what looks like the next chain restaurant. Very sad. I do not expect this place to stay around very long.

My first review expressed several significant concerns and I stated that I didn’t expect to return. The manager soon reached out to me. I take that seriously — they listen and want to improve, so I’ve edited my review and I’m adding a star.

For starters our waitress Kathy was pleasant and attentive and that is as good as it gets. I ordered French Onion soup, after moving the white blob(cheese?) I found the soup was salty enough to make a healthy man stroke out. Kathy noticed I pushed my soup to the other side of the table so she had the manager come to our table. The Mgr offered another choice so I tried the Clam Chowder. Bright white with the consistency of Elmer’s glue. There were clams present tho. My entrée, the Pot Roast, was on the menu for years and was always a good meal at B’ Creek. I swear my wife and I were doing our best to discern what exactly was on my plate. The carrots and celery were small angle cut Asian dish veggies that were in a clear broth. Tasted like La Choy. The Pot Roast meat was good by its self. This was all covered up with a translucent brown gravy that was out of a can and probably meant for another type of meal. I’m not making this up. We were disappointed in the food enough to say never again. Same as it ever was décor, with a staff that seems to be trying their best to reintroduce the old Beaver Creek. Sorry, not even close. I was not charged for my cup of soup and we smiled a lot when Kathy asked if everything was alright. She tried but the kitchen will bring them all down. Another review said it’s a good place to get drunk. Ha Ha that’s summing it up!

French onion soup was great. Ordered the Basil pesto flatbread special and was totally satisfied. Just took the barmaid forever to greet us and get out drink order. Good meal.

We see the inside of a lot of bars and restaurants so it’s really great to see someone doing it right! New owners and management are energetic and ambitious; booking lots of quality live acts is a great start, so cool to see professional stage and lighting, the food is GREAT especially the delicious buffalo burger. Attentive and competent waitstaff I can’t wait to go again!

While sitting home at the ranch me and the miss decided to saddle up and trot down to the new Beaver Salon to check out the new décor. On arrival they had a greater the was kind enough to tie off the horse. We pushed the double door and to our surprise all the animals were gone and installed one of them there popcorn machines. The Barmaid fetched us a couple of cold brews and kicked our boots up and enjoyed some good old country music. After a bit we got some fresh vittles from the grill and it was the best damn pot roast a boy could ask for ! Welp Unilocal time to hit the dusty trail. See y’all agin! PS it’s a saloon you don’t want to pass up. Not many good ones left! Gitty up!

As soon as you walk in you feel as though you are in a log cabin. It’s a nice warm astmosphere. They have rustic wooden table and chairs. Table of all sizes to accommodate various size groups. I ordered a hangover burger. It was ok not the best I’ve had better. The burger was topped with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion and a fried egg. Served with french fries of course. The burger didn’t have much flavor it was meh. Fries were good I got seasoned. My friend ordered the Cajun seafood pasta. She said it was ok and the sauce was good. She like the fact it came with large shrimp. They have changed the menu a lot. We went because we wanted broccoli bites. They took it off the menu and they use to have game on the menu. Not anymore. Just cheese dip with venison sausage. Bummer that was another reason we went there. Disappointed in the new menu but the inside is nice. They had a pretty big beer drinking crowd for the afternoon. They have quite a few on tap and a full bar. I didn’t get to partake because I had to go to work. Not sure if I’d return. I’ll put this one on the maybe I’ll return list!

My wife and I have enjoyed going to Beaver Creek for years but the new owners leave the restaurant with a lot to be desired. Prices are higher and the food quality is less that it used to be with the old owners. I ordered a southwest burger and the waitress didn’t know that it came with pepper-jack cheese. I ordered the burger medium but it came medium well to well done. The menu indicated that the burger came with fried pickle chips but mine didn’t. I ask for lettuce, onion and pickles but no tomato. I got tomato. For restaurant of this type they should serve steak but there isn’t a singe steak to be found on the menu. Under previous ownership I never had a complaint. I’m not sure at this point if I will give the new owners another chance. This was one of our go to restaurants but not now. Oh, and there are quite a few stupid typos on the menu.

It’s a fun medium sized bar. One pool table and a couple games. Keno is a big hit with the blue collared crowd here. The patio is nice in the summer. Also check out the beach bash in the winter. Prime rib at every Friday and Saturday night after 5 p.m. Is really good. Try the drunken boat cheese dip appetizer. They could use a better tap beer list it’s lacking

Came in here yesterday. Was not my first visit. I feel like everything is good, but not exceptional. We split the spinach artichoke dip. It was good. I ordered wings. They are HEAVILY breaded, so if that’s your style… enjoy. I prefer naked wings though. It’s my fault for not asking. I ordered the nuclear sauce which was very spicy and had good flavor. My gf ordered a salad. The portion was sizeable and she did not finish it. She seemed pleased with how it tasted. They had $ 2.25 or $ 2.50 domestic bottles. The service was good. They have some very unique menu items, but I wasn’t feeling gutsy enough to give them a try yesterday. I’m not much in to gamey meats, but they do have those options available. I really want to love this place, but I’m still searching for a menu item that I fall in love with. In this place’s defense, I’ve pretty much stuck to appetizers and have yet to give an entrée or a sandwich a try. That’s next on my list.

Neat place. It’s big city fancy steak house meets honkey tonk backwoods pub. The menu suits almost anyone’s interests… white meat, red meat, vegetarian, burgers, salads, etc… I came last week before meeting my husband for his bowling. I had always wanted to eat here and so glad I did. The staff were very nice and I was seated quickly, given a drink menu and asked what I wanted. They had plenty of beers, sodas, wines, and cocktails. I ended up getting a few glasses of Pinot Grigio. Excellent! Like I mentioned, the menu offered quite a bit of options. They also have a seasonal menu. I ended up ordering chicken kabobs. They was plenty of meat and vegetables. I liked the vegetables, but the meat was quite charred and I didn’t care for it. The sauce, rice and pita bread was good. For $ 10, I can’t complain. The desserts looked great. I would totally go back to try one as well as their sandwiches and burgers. The service was great! It’s a neat place to eat in Westland!

Went in for lunch and my initial reaction was 4-star! I love the ambiance with the outdoors cabin feel. Lot’s of TV’s, fireplaces, games, and game trophy’s make it all that much better. I ordered off of the lunch specials menu, a Walleye tenders with sweet potato fries. It came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the first thing I thought was that a mistake had been made & I was brought an appetizer instead. The food was in a mini basket; 3 pieces of walleye and a handful of fries. I had asked for the southwestern ranch in addition to the tarter sauce. I got only tartar sauce. The walleye was deep fried with the skin on, which is OK normally, but in this case it was extremely(overly) fishy & chewy. I also go a nice bite full of bones halfway through my second piece. The sweet potato fries were limp and flavorless. The free cookie for desert was OK, but nothing really exceptional. Overall I felt like I paid $ 15 for an appetizer(that was $ 11.65 for the dish +tip). WAY too expensive for both the quality & quantity. There are too many other choices out there, this one is checked off my list for good.

Country music. Single stall, small, yet interestingly decorated bathrooms. Clean enough. Buffalo burgers. Maybe. I ordered one. It tasted like beef. It was fatty like beef. Yet my receipt said buffalo. It was square and greasy. Overpriced for beef. The service was very slow. I wasn’t in a hurry but neither was the staff. In fact, the staff disappeared often. According to their menu, it’s one of 5 similarly owned restaurants in Metro Detroit.

This place took me by surprise — it has always been one of the places I had been curious about when driving by, but never had a chance to head inside til this past birthday(just a few days ago). The décor is quaint for the most part, but not exceedingly artificial like Applebees et al — a hunting lodge atmosphere that was hipped-up slightly by the indie rock soundtrack, playing thankfully quiet enough to not be a burden to me and my guests. The atmosphere probably increases at night time, when the large bar probably fills up – I have seen many people here when driving by, and they certainly have the space inside for a huge crowd, but when we ate at lunch there was probably 10% of the place full. In my case I came here here for some unique meats and creations. The staple buffalo, venison, duck, and boar sausage of any hunting lodge are all represented on the menu, though none are prepared in overtly rustic ways. Buffalo is served as meatloaf, other meats are made into sausages or tenders. A good selection to choose from at lunchtime, with daily specials available too. I’m told the burgers are quite tasty too. I settled on the Shepard’s Pie, and was not disappointed. A good portion at a very reasonable price. It was served with a cornbread muffin which was nothing special but served its’ purpose. The service was good — we told the waitress that it was our first visit and she accomodated us with suggestions and a plate of hot chocolate chip cookies after the meal. I’m guessing this isn’t standard but maybe it is? In any case, all well on that front. So why only 3 stars this time? The appetizer platter we ordered included duck tenders, cheese sticks, and mushrooms — and save for the mushrooms, everything seemed frozen and flash fried… nothing unique or special about it. Ditto that cornbread. This place gives the impression of a completely unique dining experience in terms of menu choices and atmosphere, but when it presents the food to you that expectation gets slashed. I’ll go back to try the burgers, or maybe for drinks sometime, but if the goal of the meal is to impress on all fronts, i’ll have to avoid this place. Go here for a decently priced meal with some special touches in a unique spot. I wish our adventurousness was more greatly rewarded though.

We’ve tried several different menu items over the years and every meal has been good to date. The Fish & Chips are real popular this time of year and they also have a decent Mac & Cheese as well. They have good burgers and the steaks are tender and tasty. They have a decent Prime Rib Special on limited days and it is better than average. I’m going with 3 stars with a possible upgrade in the future and I’ll be back…
