Two types of people in this world! Italians and those who want to be Italian. Brio is awesome great food awesome people good times. Bartenders are the best around! Hands down.

I’m half and half with this place. I went in expecting that there would be a least a few pasta dishes on the menu, but there wasn’t. Grudgingly, I settled on another dish of lemon chicken with vegetables. It was good, but it wasn’t anything I was amazed with or would encourage me to come back. The same with the dessert: delicious, but not anything amazing. Oh and they give you bread and the weirdest baked tortilla like thing??? I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but it was just weird and personally, it was kind of a mess to eat. Lastly, be prepared to wait, not for a table but at your actual table. I felt like the waiters could have been a little faster with the drinks. I don’t mind waiting for food, but it kind of sucks when you’re super thirsty and your waiter is MIA.

Came here for a dinner with some friends service was nice. Menu was ok they didn’t have much food without alcohol or pork. I got the spicy shrimp which was good. Everyone else at my table got salads and no one complained the lava cake was really good though !

Good place for sit down lunch l. Service is inconsistent, and will have a wait even if you see open tables. Liked the Roasted red peppers as an add on to meal.

What a night!.. My boyfriend and I were meeting up with family for a special occasion and Brio was the spot. From the moment he approached our table, I cannot begin to describe how pleasant Matt was to us throughout the meal. Absolutely attentive, wonderfully personable, and professional. I generally don’t write reviews, but I can’t deny this man undeniable skill in his craft. Can’t praise the night enough!

Let me just say do not order Chicken Under the Brick. Without the marsala on it(I ordered sans due to a dietary restriction), you can easily tell it is a very cheap, flat cut of chicken. Not whatsoever worth the price. It looks okay in the pictures I’ve seen on here but again, without the sauce it’s pretty pathetic. That being said, it was quickly replaced with a house salad that was excellent, my grandmother ordered the steak salad which looked fantastic too. I took a couple bites of the steak which was a well-prepared, good cut of steak. Our server was really great too!!! The bartender was also accommodating even though we had a server. Excellent service here all around. They have a *very* small craft beer selection but had what all I needed. Despite the chicken mishap, I’ll definitely be back. They probably would have been a 3 star, but their excellent server saved them. I’m docking one star for the chicken, but if I had an entrée comparable to the steak salad in taste/quality I wouldn’t have a problem updating with a 5.

Around 4:00 on a Sunday my boyfriend, brother and I go in and we get promptly seated because there weren’t too many people eating that early. Our hostess and the woman who sat us were pleasant. However, after over ten minutes of not being acknowledged by any of the severs walking by, we got up and left. The hostess and woman who sat us watched us walk out with no acknowledgement-no longer pleasant I guess? I can only assume this is how they treat anyone who doesn’t look like they«fit in» to a «nice» restaurant like theirs. We are young and although we were dressed appropriately, it must not have been nice enough. I only assume this because I couldn’t see any other reason we didn’t get served. I have been on the other side of the food business and know that there is a stereotype against young people and them not tipping which I have always found ridiculous because I know it’s not true. But, good thing The Cheesecake Factory is right there and that server seemed to appreciate our business.

Was very upset. Myself and one other family member are vegetarians. This restaurant does not cater to vegetarians at all. We both ordered a dish with chicken. We asked for the chicken to be taken off and replaced with a side of vegetables. Waitress was happy to accommodate. Manager on duty this particular night did not want to accommodate us. The manager charged us full price for the pasta dish without the chicken. And charged us for the side of vegetables. We will not ever go back to Brio. Very disappointed in this restaurant. Shame on you, Brio of West Lake, Ohio in Crocker Park.

BESTBRUNCHINWESTLAKE. While the food is generally pretty good at any time, the brunch is definitely my favorite. A little on the pricey side for the portion size but quality ingredients. Their fresh fruit sangria is amazing paired with the Tuscan Omelet! Very healthy also!

So, I’m not big on chain restaurants, but my experience with Brio over the years has allowed it to remain on our list of family-friendly options. My most recent visit did nothing to dispel that notion. Thursday night dinner… place was relatively busy. Fortunately, I was seated right away. The reason for the fourth star is our server, Kristen. She was very friendly, and generally had our food and drinks to our table in short order. She was also very nice to our kids, a touch that means a lot to the parents of three kids in their single-digits. The food is not bad. My lasagna tasted the same as my last visit(very filling), although a bit pricy at $ 18. My biggest complaint(besides the price bump) was the calamari appetizer. The portion was much smaller than we remembered, and for $ 11, they shorted us a bit. We were willing to overlook it because everything else was okay, but it didn’t start our meal off on the greatest foot. There are a few better options for Italian in the area(which I haven’t tried yet), but Brio is perfect for families.

I just love brio. I’ve been there so many times and I’m always happy with everything. They bring out a complimentary variety of delicious bread that I usually dip in their lobster bisque soup(so good! And don’t be shy to ask for more bread although they usually ask first!) but don’t get full off the bread. You’ll want room for the food. I love the strawberry chicken salad they have and usually get both dressings on the side. The shrimp appetizer is also a must. But can we talk about their bread basket again because that really brings me back. I’ll get a photo of the bread next time I’m in lol

This was my first visit to Brio, it was mid day Saturday in Crocker Park a nice shopping area west of Cleveland it was cold, windy and a few flurries in the air, the crowds were large its the holiday season and the procrastinators are everywhere. I ducked in to get warm have a bowl of something to recharge the batteries it didn’t appear busy but there was real confusion at the hostess station laminated table maps covered in dry erase ink we must go and verify each table to see if there are customers seated or if they need to be bused or just vacant never mind the hungry crowd we must verify even before we write the names of the new customers down in the order they walked in, we can always ask who’s next yes that’s it we will use the honor system. The crowd was building like it was midnight at Walmart on Black Friday now the staff huddles up to decide who gets a seat it’s a lottery I don’t feel I have a winning ticket but I’m close enough to get picked like an unpopular kid in a dodge ball game. The part time hostess looks at me, it seems she remembers I was here before this debacle began she grabs the menus and heads my way yes it’s me I get a table no wait she decides to double check the vacancy the process comes to a stop I see a server waving they found a table bingo. We arrive it’s clean and the silverware is inbound another pours the water and yet another sets down a bowl of bread and I think gourmet crackers things are looking up. Let’s make it easy and fast or fast and easy this is a quick lunch between shopping yes we all will have the soup and salad I want the Italian wedding soup the others lobster bisque. My choice was wonderful I would of liked it a little warmer but the taste was spot on, the tiny meatballs were tasty and plentiful. The lobster bisque was a little heavy on the sherry but also heavy on the lobster chunks no complaints from this group. It’s Salad time two order the wedge two order steak salads both were very forgettable unfortunately. Wedge was not chilled and the dressing was sparse, light on the bacon and a few cherry tomatoes would not do it again, the steak salads were about the same it seems but they have chucks of tough steak piled on top. Okay 3 stars for the food to be fair it wasn’t a full meal it was a big shopping day and the place was busy yes I am making excuses for them because I want to try Brio again whether it’s here or anywhere else.

Although, I like Olive Garden… Brio is definitely a step above I got the Pasta Brio to go & it was so delicious! The dish had roasted red pepper sauce over rigatoni with grilled chicken & mushrooms. It was very flavorful & not heavy pasta dish. I also got the chocolate cake & it was also a winner! It was rich with flavor yet, it was still light.

Sat on patio on best day I can remember in Ohio. Blue skies, cool breeze. Great cold beers: Blue Moon & Peroni Eggplant fries were awesome. Great service by female waitress, tall, blond & super friendly. Best people watching spot in No. Ohio.

This location is great after a few hours of shopping. Since we were there fairly early, we were able to sit out on the terrace which was really nice. Trevor was our server and was there promptly to take our drink and food order. He mentioned fresh bread would be coming out of the oven in 3 minutes and sure enough, it came out piping hot and fresh. I had the lasagna, which is a huge order and came out hot and gooey, just like I like it. My husband had the veal milanese with a side of linguini Pomodoro. The veal was very tasty, and the only complaint he had was that his food was not very hot. All in all, good choice. Service was excellent and food was very good.

There’s mixed reviews for this place and in trying not to be biased by that, I’m writing this review after having dined there twice. Had the Shrimp Mediterranean for dinner and eggs benedict for lunch and both were really good. Perhaps my expectations were really low during both occasions(alas, I guess was biased by the reviews), but the grilled shrimp was pretty good and the orzo/farro pilaf was done just right with great flavor. I normally don’t eat rice/pasta, but I have to say this was worth the carb points! The eggs benedict was over toasted brioche which was a nice change from the classic english muffin. Although I think I still prefer the crunch of the english muffin over the brioche which was slightly on the soft side(not soggy, just a softer texture than what one is used to with eggs benedict). But, this passed the main test of quality with flying colors as the poached egg was done perfectly. After have an extremely poor experience at nearby Cheesecake factory, the bleeding yolks here were very satisfying. Both experiences were topped off by excellent service. You’re greeted kindly and they try to make some polite conversation as they walk you to your seat. The waiter/waitress were really kind and polite. Really not much more to ask for from an upper end chain restaurant. As for the conflicting reviews out there, I have to admit I went during off-peak hours and didn’t go expecting to have«authentic italian cuisine.»
