The clothes are super cute however when we were shopping in the store, my 4 year old son had to poop so bad he almost went in the store floor, they would not let us the bathroom. We had to leave in pouring rain to go to the grocery store to use the bathroom.

Just awful customer service! Went to check out after picking up yoga pants and stood there for a bit before asking someone to check me out. A clueless brunette walked up and said, ‘Oh, do you want to make a purchase?’(Ah, no thank you, I am just standing here with these items for no apparent reason.) She proceeds to tell me they are not on sale, except the rack I picked them up from stated ’25% off’, which I informed her. She and another cackle chittered about trying to decipher if they were on sale. Finally a brain cell fired and they decided to ring it up to see. Voila’…25% off. I was then asked if I had shopped there before.(Oh, nooooo. Can’t I please just make a purchase without going through a background check). I tell them no in which case I am told I will NEED a customer number. I stated I did not want a customer number, and that I just wanted to buy an item. Clueless stated that, no… I NEEDED a customer number, after which her cackled friend chimed in and said ‘you NEED a number in case you NEED to return your item. At which point I stated that I do not NEED a number to make returns at other retailers. She then went off the rails and kept stating that I NEEDED a number. I decided M. Frederic must put their employees through an indoctrination camp that sucks out all reasoning so I just shut up. And left. Moral of the story: M Frederic, please close all locations and go away so that a cool, unique, friendly retailer can come into the Promenade.

I remember why I stopped shopping here years ago. There was one other customer in the store and two sales staff. One working with the customer that was obviously a regular that was more concerned about how«fat» she looked in the outfit then buying — and the other sales person was moving hangers ½ inch apart on all the fixtures. I walked around the store 2x’s — took an item into the dressing room — and left without even a peep from a sales person. The prices are less than they used to be — still a good selection — but with them closing stores — I can’t imagine business is that good that they can allow a customer to walk out The sales people always seem more interested in gossiping with the regular customers than working to get a new customer — that might spend more then their current customers. Don’t think I will be back.

I love this cute and trendy boutique. My favorite place to get tops, maxi dresses and skirts. The price range in here I would say starts around $ 45 and up but I’d say majority of the tops that I love are $ 88.00 and summer maxi dresses too. You can spend over $ 100 for the jeans, long stylish cardigans and unique & trendy pieces. They carry Revival Jeans which is my favorite brand as well as other brand names. I could easily go on a «tops» shopping spree in here. I love the soft material on their tops. They have nice Men and Children’s clothes too with the children’s store being adjacent to this one and the men’s section being hidden in the back off to the side. They give discounts every time you purchase something in here, like I bought a top so my next visit out I get 10% off my next purchase. I know they have a certain day of the year where this store has a huge tent sale located at a warehouse somewhere in Westlake. Women lined up and waiting for this thing to open but it’s suppose to be a really good sale from what I hear. Big sales scare me actually… it’s those wide eye’d women that snap at me over a pair of jeans I picked up that they had their eye on first from across the store or being knocked over for the boots located on the other side of me. Too many bad experiences from big sales. I normally avoid them but for this store I would definitely attend it just as long as calm and classy women are attending. haha

The clothes and accessories in this store are super cute. With that being said, their customer service isn’t great. Last time I visited on a weekend morning, there were ffour to ive ladies working and not one offered to help me. When I was ready to make my purchase, all of the ladies were standing around talking about the Kardashian TV show and didn’t even notice me. I had to ask to be rung up. Pretty sad as I suspect I would have bought a lot more if I had been helped.

There is no return policy at this store, therefore the store sucks. It is not like it is a one location mom & pop. It would seem they could afford to offer your money back if the item is not suitable. In addition, the customer service is either some snotty, old facelift or a ditzy teenager. I have been to the women’s stores and children’s stores in Westlake and Calabasas. The stuff is very Nordstromy/ordinary. If you buy a «cute» top, you’ll see it on 6 other chicks when you’re bar hopping in Westlake Sat night. Puhleeze.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved a lot of the clothes in this boutique — think Joe’s Jeans(my favorite!), Sanctuary, Ella Moss — but my first impression was«Oh, this is a store for cougars.» You know, the Housewives of Orange County(and their daughters) would happily shop here. It’s expensive for my currently-looking-for-work wallet — it seemed like every top I looked at was over $ 150 — but the clothes are super cute, great for dates and going out on the town. Good thing I’m not 40, our I’d have to call myself a cougar. Me-ow!

Fun, hip and quite expensive boutique-style shop in the beautiful Westlake Village Promenade center. They happen to have four stores: the active, the men’s, the women’s and the kids! Large selection to say the least… they carry just about every jean brand you could think of and a variety of tops, dresses, and shoes. Not to mention… they have a pretty kickin’ area dedicated souly to the PJ’s and yummy bathrobes. I came in here one day when it was freezing and all rainy outside and suckered myself into buying a $ 150 cozy and plush bathrobe… I LOVEIT! Worth every penny… who needs a blankie when you have a bathrobe to snuggle all up in? The clothes rotate so the styles will be different every time you go it which is nice… you’ll also find a lot of unique items. I’ve bought shirts in there from $ 45 on up… and by up I mean you could drop a few hundies on a top!
