Designs Of The Interior

We have been using Genaro and his team for years now. Everybody that comes to our home thinks it is beautiful. I have never been disappointed, EVER. Genaro goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy and have great service. Everybody in the showroom is very helpful and responsive. I would recommend Designs of the Interior to anybody!

I have to agree with all the other reviews. I wanted to hire a design firm because I have a hard time putting things together, I needed help. Instead of creating different options for me to choose from, they just kept asking, «what do you want to do?» We basically got no where, so I went elsewhere.

I’ve worked with many design firms over the years and Karen and her team are creative, enjoyable to work with, on time and on budget. Their ideas to transform our home in Montecito are amazing! Neither we nor our friends and family could love it more! We are looking forward to the patio remodel they are working on now! I’d recommend them highly.

After spending over 60k (exact figure, while not confirmed is likely 66,666.60), I have nothing positive to say about this business. It has taken over a year to resolve a very minor problem; other issues were left dangling. I encountered a shocking degree of incompetence and indignation. The only fun part was watching this odd «team,» with their bizarre ways.
Design ranged from stale to downright ugly. Business was repeatedly unethical. Quality relative to cost was subpar. Customer service was frustrating, comically so. Sales job from the start, which ramps up to self righteousness if you don’t «absolutely love our sensational design.»

I wish I would have read the reviews of this place before I signed up with them. Lost quite a bit of money on design services and furniture that is just awful! I trusted them to do a service that they assured me they were well equipped to handle. It was just horrible! The owner, Karen, was trying to convince me just how wonderful it all looked. Of course she would, she is the owner and not a designer. A friend of mine said it looked like we were moving, and we shoved all our furniture in one room. They made three style chairs, all of which were the exact fabric… just in beige and raspberry! They did take the two wing back chairs and ottoman back as a «good will gesture». They should have taken all the crap furniture they did! I am in the process of giving it away as I am MORTIFIED to have it in my home. So, I you are looking for a design center to help you with your home, STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!! I guarantee you will be able to do better on your own.
**a month after leaving this review of this horrible design company, I was moving what was left of the hideous furniture in my home. A sofa table that was purchased is broken! I didn’t notice it until now (12÷16÷13). It is a piece of garbage made in China!!! I called Carla at Designs of the Interior… they have not returned my call to date!
