I challenge anyone in Columbus to find a better Chinese restaurant than this one. The freshest ingredients, the friendliest staff, and the heartwarming deliciousness will keep you coming back here in time and time again.

Nice clean and modern dinning room. I felt adventurous and ordered the Beijing Noodles. I had never had this dish before but was pleased when it arrived. It kind of reminded me of spaghetti with meat sauce just more spicy. Very different than what I normally order at an Asian restaurant. It seemed the wait staff was by committee. If one of them noticed you were low on drinks they offered a refill right away.(A big plus considering the spicy sauce.) They all smiled each time they stopped by. My meal and several drink refills were under $ 11.

I was excited to visit Q2, but ultimately, was disappointed. After reading some reviews, I expected some hand crafted food. What I got was bland, was drenched in what seemed liked commercial-grade sauce and had an additional taste I can only describe as «off.» My wife had sweet and sour chicken and it made me think that maybe their fryer oil needs changed. I don’t like to write bad reviews, but I don’t think I’ll be headed back to Q2.

Hidden away in the far north end of Cleveland Ave is a rare treat. Real authentic Chinese cuisine. If you’re tired of the usual bland Americanized Chinese food this is the place for you. I am quite fond of their signature rice pots particularly their Topon shrimp and calamari, they make great stir frys and noodles too. Even simple dishes like sweet & sour chicken are noticeably better than other places. A very nice relaxing atmosphere, easy access parking, and a great attentive staff.

Best Chinese in the Westerville/Polaris area. The Spicy Hoyu Medley is the best of the best.

This will be quick like their service. Ordered a drink reasonable priced while discussing with Dan food options… décor is simple and always a happy smile upon arrival We have selected the black bean chicken but tonight I had the human chicken dinner, enough for two… Highly recommend

Literally the best Chinese food I have ever had. You simply cannot go wrong with this menu. I have tried at least ten things and I am hesitant to try more because I already have such a hard time deciding what I want. The rice pots are their signature and its the perfect amount of food. I also don’t feel sick after I eat here like I do with most Chinese places around the area. All the ingredients are fresh and you can get out for a quick lunch most of the time.

Good quality and variety. Better quality than Asian fast food places, but it’s definitely not trying to be much more than that. We’ve gone several times and never been dis-satisfied. Prices are reasonable. Decent mixed drink selection, and the bartender is often very generous with his/her pours. My dish recommendation: Famous Ramen.

Update: I went back and had the Spicy Yin Yang Fried Rice. Looked great and tasted even better. The portion was huge and made for a great lunch the next day.

I came for lunch with a coworker at her suggestion. The food is very good here. I had the Vegetables with Tofu and fried rice. Yummy. I will come back. The décor and service were good. The only thing I didn’t like is that there is nothing blocking the cold air when someone opens the door.

Very good food. Prices are bit higher than typical Chinese restaurants but the entrees were of good portion and tasted great. The calamari appetizer was bit skimpy I’m portion but tasty. I’d say it’s just enough to share for 2 people. Also ordered dumplings which were just okay; bit too doughy. The entrees are served to eat individually. There is a scoop of rice with the entrée on top and/or next to the rice. Just ask for extra plates and spoon if you plan on sharing. I would definitely recommend. I did have some issues with the Unilocal Check-in Offer. I checked in and received a 10% Off coupon. The waitress tells me that I needed to print the coupon. I tell her that that’s not how Unilocal Check-in deals work and I let her read the coupon on my iPhone. Then she calls a manager over who also reads my iPhone, leaves for a minute, then tells me that he’ll honor the 10% off since this was my first visit. He made it seem mike he was doing me a favor. They need to figure out if they want to keep honoring the Unilocal offer or take or off.

I work within walking distance of Q2 and have only visited thrice. The service is good and the atmosphere is inviting. It’s just that I rate the food as «Meh». So far I’ve had the beef & broccoli, the dumplings, the shrimp and walnuts and the chicken fried rice. None of them really tantilized my taste budes.(and the beef and broccoli is one of their Chef’s Specialties!) All in all, it’s a nice place to go but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get here.

Coming here for over a year. It’s still damn good. I still get the Honey Mustard Chicken pot almost every time. Still haven’t made it for dinner/HH. The caveats: Their lunch is busy. Get there before noon, or at about 12:45 and you can skip waiting. For the«less asian food» inclined, they have a beef and potatoes pot that a coworker orders every time as well.

My family and I have been to Q2 Bistro 3 or 4 times now and we love it. The service is great… very prompt. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. The décor is very modern. The first time I had Sesame Beef. Even though it is not on the menu, they were willing to make it for me. It was delicious! My husband had a Rice Pot(can’t remember the name of it but had chicken, jalapenos and bell peppers). He loved it! Our daughter is 5 years and loves Asian food. We were happy to see that they had a kids menu. Most Asian restaurants do not have one and we are forced into getting her an adult sized meal that she can eat for several days at home. The following times my husband continued to get the same rice pot because he liked it so much. I got chicken with string beans(extra spicy)…awesome! The third time I got a rice pot but asked them to leave out the bell peppers and add string beans… awesome! So, as you can see… they are very accommodating to «special orders». The food tastes fresh and is full of vegetables. The only down side is that they do not have brown rice. Prices are typical and fair. Would recommend Q2 Bistro!

I went to Q2 by myself one day for lunch and the staff was very kind, soft-spoken and attentive. I was immediately seated upon my arrival and a server was over right as I was sitting down. Talk about prompt! After reviewing their menu, I decided to give Pad Thai a whirl as I’ve never had it(my parents aren’t super cultural when it came to food) and told them to go very light on the spiciness of the dish. Within a very short time, my meal came out pipping hot and despite the fact that even the most mild spiciness made my nose run a bit, my food was delicious(maybe I’m just a wimp?). Overall I would definitely go back. It was really quiet during lunch and so I’m not sure how it is in the evening hours but I think it would be a good place to do a first date if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to get to know someone over a nice meal.
