How did I not know about this place before? I was looking for a new wine place to try out and did a random internet search. Good Vibes came up and I thought «what the heck, it will at the very least be an adventure». I definitely was surprised when I walked in and saw a really cool wine bar… one of those places you feel like you’ve been before and will be again. The service was spectacular, despite there only being one guy servicing a very full bar. The wine was great and prices even better. This is the kind of place you meet your friends for a glass of wine, you take your significant other for a casual date, or just walk in and hang out at the bar.
Honestly one of the best places I have been in such a long time… you will not be disappointed!

I really love this little place. It is small and quaint, and the wine is good. However, the biggest reasons why I like it is the owners. They are awesome and super nice! In fact, they allow a business group that I am part of meet there monthly at no extra charge (Panera doesn’t even let you do this anymore near us)! It’s great… we can meet, talk, have fun, AND partake in some good wine!
I highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I love this wine bar! The owners are super friendly. They often have live music which is nice, too. You can order small plates here of meat and cheese or you can order pizza from dough boys! Pretty neat idea! Who doesn’t love pizza and wine?!

This has to be the best winery in town, they have a great selection of wines and the owners/​staff has an extensive knowledge about their wines. They have a wide selection of wines from sweet to dry and that reasonably price. The atmosphere is wonderful it’s like sitting at a good friends house and enjoying great wines.

An inviting-​cozy ambiance! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a good convo with the bartender. The staff were all very nice and I enjoyed that the owners took a moment to say hello and introduce themselves and tell us about the winery. We had two flights 3 oz. We purchased a bottle of «Uptown Girl» and they re-​sealed it for us to finish at home at no cost. Very laid back place, check it out when you’re in the area!

I left my first review of Good Vibes 2 years ago. It’s now 2014 and my husband and I have been here too many times to count! We’re obviously big fans. We still love that the wines are named after rock songs, and we still love chatting with the owners; they’re wonderful! We love watching all of the «happenings» on State Street while enjoying a glass (or bottle) of wine. Their prices are very reasonable which makes it an easy stop on a weeknight when you just want to unwind a little. I recommend the «Hang On Sloopy»!

My wife and I came here after dinner at the Thai place next door. What a great location in the downtown Westerville neighborhood! The space is really nice and cozy inside. I enjoyed the song title themed wine names and matching artwork on the wall, as well as the music they played. Sounds like something I would do if I had a winery!
My wife and I did a sampler tasting together, which was a great way to figure out what we enjoy. After the 8-​wine sampler, we each did a 4-​wine sampler of specific ones that we wanted to enjoy (our tastes vary between us). The server working behind the bar was very nice and hospitable. We had a great conversation with him for much of our time there. It really helped us feel welcome there and that they wanted us to come back.
The place became busier closer to 8:00 (it was a Saturday night), but not too busy that cant’ find a table. They have a girls night on Tuesdays, which my wife and her friends plan to attend soon.
I should mention that there are wines for every taste here — whites, reds, fruits, sweets and drys, and even dessert wines. «Ice Ice Baby» is the best dessert wine my wife and I have ever agreed upon!
You’ll see that we focused on the fruit wines, we’ll have to try everything else next time. Besides the ice wine, my favorites were «Born To Be Wild» (Wildberry Shiraz) and «Sweet Caroline» (Blackberry Cabernet). My wife’s favorites were «Summer Breeze» (Peach/​Apricot Chardonnay) and «My Girl» (Blueberry Pinot Noir).
I highly recommend this place for an after-​dinner date, whether you’re looking to impress a new girl, or the one you’ve been dating and married to for years!

This place is a gem! It’s a quaint little wine bar with good company. The owner makes his own wine and strikes up a great conversation. Superstition (Chardonnay) is my favorite. This was my first time here and I’m definitely returning!

We had a great experience here on a Saturday night. Good prices, nice selection. Four of us each ordered a wine flight and some hors d’oeuvres to accompany. (Oh my goodness, you must try the sweet white apple wine with some cheddar cheese!)
Good service, funny theme: the wines are named after songs and the playlist in the background are those songs. Also, some nights they have ‘events’, so try to go to one. We happened upon a cupcake night, so we had a bit of dessert to go with wine!

Loved it! We stopped in on Friday to sample some of their wines and had a great time. All of the wines are produced onsite and are named after their favorite songs. We tried a tasting of eight different wines — 2 white and 6 red. The 8 – 1 ounce samples were served on a tray with the wine names and a description of each. It was nice to have that as a guide so we could keep the eight samples straight! I enjoyed them all, but loved Lady in Red, Suspicious Minds and Let it be. We also ordered a small cheese plate. It was good and very large! 18 crackers, a large wedge of Amish Swiss, cheddar and summer sausage. Nothing too fancy, but nice to nibble on while sipping some vino before heading out for dinner. We will be back soon. They do many pairing events so we are looking forward to attending something soon. Very friendly service and a beautiful shop.

I’m so glad that this place is right around the corner from me! I love wine, and I love Westerville, but the two have never mixed until now.
As an avid wino, I’ve been wanting to visit Good Vibes ever since I saw it was open this past summer. However, despite living within walking distance, I didn’t actually follow through on that visit until last weekend.
I come from a wine-​loving family, and let me tell you, I have visited some wineries. I’ve visited wineries in every part of the country (and Canada!). I know what makes a good winery-​visiting experience, and it’s not the wine. Not really. Wine is no rare thing, you can find it at any grocery store or gas station. People visit wineries to immerse themselves in it, for lack of a better term. You go to speak to the winemakers, share stories, share your love of wine. It’s an experience that goes much deeper than wine, and the folks at Good Vibes understand that and do nfot disappoint.
They have a lot of wines for a small place just starting out. A LOT. There is definitely something for every taste. I wasn’t overly impressed with any of the reds I tasted, but I’m a bit of a wine snob and difficult to please in that area. None of them were bad, just no stand-​outs. Hopefully that will change as this place ages and Tony comes up with some new concoctions.
But, like I said, it’s not really about the wine. This place is great. The owner and staff are «wine people» and you can tell. I don’t mean to scare off anyone who isn’t a «wine person». Everyone is very friendly and glad to answer any questions.
I had a great time sitting at the bar, chatting with the staff members and owner about wine, and (of course) drinking it. I tasted the flight of reds, had a glass of ‘Let It Be’, and took home a bottle of the same. We also had their cheese & meat platter, which was pretty tasty. I would encourage anyone, whether you’re a wine n00b or a connoisseur, to stop by Good Vibes. I’ll definitely be back!

The wife and I found ourselves at Good Vibes one fine Saturday afternoon. We always enjoy trying new wines and conversing with other enthusiasts. Good Vibes does offer an extensive tasting menu and a good setting in old downtown Westerville. We enjoyed talking with other couples who were also in for a tasting adventure.
The wife fired up the white tasting and I went red (10 tastings each). Going from sweet to dry, I did my best with oyster crackers to cleanse the palate, but the taste profiles on the reds all just ran together. Neither the wife nor I ever had that «oooh, taste this one!» moment.
While labeled as «Ohio Wines» (because they’re mixed and fermented here), Good Vibes buys juice from grapes grown outside of Ohio. Indeed, they boast of buying juice from some of the best wine regions out there. As such, rather than compare them to other Ohio wineries, I start to compare their wines to others I’ve had from those regions and, for me, they just didn’t stack up.

Great place to stop and drink wines labeled of favorite classic songs. Great atmosphere and Tony is awesome!

Good Vibes Winery in Westerville! It just opened in the summer and has already created a little reputation for itself. We visited Good Vibes last night as I found them on Unilocal and read their rave reviews wanting to know more. They offer a huge list of tasting options for you to choose from: red, whites, combo — take your pic. They play the music that mimics their tasting names: Imagine, Let It Be (can you tell I’m a die hard Beatles fan???), Pretty Woman, Superstition, Red Red Wine… What an amazing concept. Simple and full of impact. Who doesn’t love classic rock? Great idea.
My sweetheart and I experienced a tasting where I picked all reds and he selected all whites and we shared. We walked away with a bottle of Pretty Woman (fav white) and Imagine (fav red). The facility is very clean, open and welcoming. The owner was one of the best parts of our experience. We got to make our selections and he let us drive our own tasting so we got to enjoy our experience at our own pace. He checked in on us from time to time but again, let us have our own experience. From what I could gather as we sat at the bar they not only sell wine but wine bottle bags for gifts, T shirts, other items as well.
I’m going back in a heartbeat. I love nothing more than supporting a local business and especially one that is just starting out. Very excited for this local winery and check out his website. The hours are more than reasonable for any consumer and we were thrilled we were able to swing by and check it out. You will not be sorry!

Wanted to do something a little different with a few free hours one afternoon while visiting family in the Cbus area, and with our growing interest in wine, we ended up on a set of bar stools in Westerville!
It was very quite at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday… we didn’t see another guest until about an hour later. We both did the flight option…3−3 ounce pours for $ 8. The owner was friendly & chatted with us about the wine & his shop (just open about six weeks) while we had a chance to sample his treats. Actually, much better than expected! I greatly enjoyed all three of my choices (the Riesling, the Chianti, and the Cab-​Shiraz blend) as well as two of my husband’s (the Pinot Noir & the Bordeaux blend). Didn’t care much for the Chenin Blanc, but it was a goofy pick for us.
The music matches the names of the wines (all named after songs), so if you enjoy a bit of Ice Ice Baby mixed with your John Lennon, you’ve come to the right place. A lovely place to spend an hour — we’ll be back to visit next time we are in Cbus.
