Donato’s is the lowest of the low regarding pizza. The crust is obviously pre-​made and shipped to all the stores. It’s like cardboard, it’s horrible. I’ve tried it 5 – 6 times (work buys it occasionally) and it gets worse every time. People here in Columbus rave about this place and Mexican restaurants in the area too. I’ve tried them all and I make better dishes at home. After living here for 9 yrs it’s obvious to me that a mediocre food palate exisits in most folks that grew up here. I guess I can’t blame them if there’s nothing else to compare it to. I just don’t get it and I don’t understand how these places remain in business with low quality products.

Who doesn’t love donatos pizza? Donatos is my go-​to pizza order/​delivery. This location is my favorite near me. Located right in front of Meijer and next to Tim Horton’s. I always have loved donatos pizza and is my favorite Friday-​night tradition food.

It’s one of the best in Columbus.
I try really hard to support small, local business. This restaurant chain is far from small but they did get started right here in Columbus.
Regardless, I love their pizza and order it all the time. The Chicken Mariachi and Founders Favorite are my go to’s. I also like their salads. The large bowls are great for when we have people over.
Delivery has always been fast and friendly. We ordered from them on Friday and they forgot the salad. the Manager drove it to our house 5 minutes after the delivery guy left. Nice work!

Donatos has been our favorite pizza for years. Tonight’s was the worst pizza we’ve had from there. Requested light sauce which we usually do, however, could not see or taste any sauce at all. Crust was disappointing as well. Pizza was not as hot as usual on arrival. Ordered for myself and company from out of state. Very disappointed.

The last few times we have ordered from Donatos the service has been much better! Pizza has arrived fast and hot. Plus, the fact that they now offer gluten free pizza, we are hooked! I also like the fact that I don’t have any gastrointestinal issues after eating here like I have had many times with some other delivery pizza.
It might cost a bit more, but the quality is certainly better.

I’ve been eating Donatos pizza since childhood, and the biggest compliment I can give is that Donatos serves consistent quality. Ingredients are always very fresh, and new pizza ideas are typically not a risk (because I’ve never had anything bad). The sauce is rich and flavorful, and sub, salad, and bread options are also yummy. As an adult, I can see why this is the one restaurant my family ordered from. I love Donatos Pizza!
