I would have given 6 stars if I could have. This is sophisticated Thai fusion in a symphony of culinary prowess and flawless execution. The result is a myriad of sublime deliciousness that permeates the menu, and exceeds description and expectation. Additionally, the portions and prices defy the authenticity and quality of Thong’s cuisine. Don’t let the diminutive size or unassuming locale [ across from Westerly Amtrak ] deter you from experiencing this little diamond. You can drive 100 miles in either direction from Westerly and not find a better Thai
restaurant, Unequivocally the best in Rhode Island.

Great spot for a quick lunch with a nice variety on the menu. Good service.

I’ve only ordered take-​out here, my family ordered dinner during our vacation and it was so good that we ordered dinner again three nights later! Service was excellent as was food. All main courses come with an appetizer (veggie rolls were my choice both times), and the massaman curry was some of the best I’ve ever had.

Excellent food and service !!! I love coming in and seeing his little girl! She’s always smiling and saying hi and my 9 yr old loves to chat with her while we wait for our food take in or out. They are very fast and the food is soooooo delicious !!! By far they are the best Thai in town! The pad see ewe is my favorite with tofu and their summer rolls ! Their wildflower which are crab rangoons are delicious too and the mango sticky rice one of my daughters fave

Very friendly service. I was here getting a carry out. Unfortunately the pad thai was bland. My friend also does not like the same dish here and finds it bland. The wonton and soup were fine. I may or may not try it again.

returned with MIL and the baby around 2pm one day, owner guy took us in and later showed up dressed in a coat. we didn’t think much of it just thought he was going out for fresh air. while we ate his little girl was protesting in the back, and we talked about how sad immigrant children with parents who own a restaurant are often trapped in there all day, that they should be chilling on a playground instead.
till we got the check (maybe 30 minutes later?), we realized we were the ones keeping them from being on a playground! apparently they close at 2 or 2:30 every day till like 5, so the girls could go play and stuff. smart man who knows how to balance life and work! not like a lot of people would come eat at this hour anyway, and people like us who walked in last minute can easily find something else to settle for. family time IS important!
i mean, he could have turned us down when we walked in, and i wouldn’t have taken offense. you do have a sign about the hours that we missed. but i appreciate you seating us still and never gave us attitude!

The place was simple, casual and very clean.
We had the tofu basil rolls and they were very fresh and delightful. A perfect summer lunch or appetizer. It comes with a tangy mango sauce-​yum!
The main course was tofu in green curry with mixed veg. Again, very fresh and the curry was nice and spicy.
I would definitely go back and the price was very reasonable!

Thong is the most amazing Thai restaurant I have ever been too and I have been to tons all over the country. If you are ever in westerly make this your first stop. The noodle and curry dishes are amazing, especially the pad see ew.

This restaurant was a delightful treat. Big portion sizes & several delicious options. It is also walking distance to downtown Westerly adjacent to many bars and hangouts. The proprietor is also very friendly & accommodating. I can’t say enough how scrumptious their Thai food is!

Fantastic food, service and price! Where else can you get a full entrée and two appetizers for leas than the usual price of the appetizer alone. I’ve been going here for a while and the food is always fantastic and ready very quickly

Absolutely delicious! My husband and I have become regulars at this wonderful authentic Thai food restaurant. The owners/​staff are kind and very attentive. The food is always fresh, delicious and affordable. Best Thai food around!!!

Great go-​to for authentic and affordable Thai. Laid back atmosphere and easy access. Especially like the additional specials that come with the entrees.

I enjoyed the sample platter and the pad thai.
The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy.
I look forward to dining there again.

Update! My sister ordered take out from here on Christmas Eve. The food was really good, especially the wonton pad thai. I can’t speak to the price since so I still advise caution if you go in person or are ordering for yourself but, the food this time was pretty great.

We have access to NYC restaurants and yet this is still our hands down favorite Thai restaurant. I’ve been known to plan my week’s food around what night (s) I can go here. Even our friend native to Thailand loved the food. So delicious.
