This is by far my favorite pizza place in southeastern Connecticut/​Rhode Island. The food is very good with lots of selections. Many different pizzas and salads. I recommend this restaurant highly.

I love the bruschetta here though it’s not like your typical bruschetta it’s very good. I’m a New Yorker so for me the pizza isn’t amazing to me but for Rhode Island pizza it’s definitely pretty good. I prefer the pies with toppings over the cheese for sure here. The service is always pretty good as well. Friendly staff.

The gorg salad is the way to go. Absolutely delicious!!! And the pizza is out of this world– Rosie’s pizza is my absolute favorite!

Love the gorgonzola salad ! Huge portions! Daves garlic bread is yummy as is their pizzas! Only downside is THEY DO NOT DELIVER! If they did I would order weekly from them! Highly recommend!!!

Ordered the Italian grinder, large and damn that thing is huge! The bread took up most of the size tho. I don’t like it when the roll is so much that it takes away from enjoying your fill from the rest of the sandwich, pet peeve of mine. Other than that the meat, the cheese and the lettuce dressed in olive oil was good.

I was here for a Congressional event as a Volunteer for the VA and was quite impressed with this place. I would have taken some some pics but wasn’t able to due to situation.
The pizza was delicious and I tried several different slices. I’m not a big fan of veggie pizzas, but they had one pizza that I know my wife would have loved. The pizza had eggplant, sliced squash, asparagus, and tomatoes on it and it was phenomamal. Their regular pepperoni was good too. For those that like beer with their pizza, they have a wide variety of those too.
I’d never been to Westerly, but if I go back, I’ll definitely get pizza from this place.

I have been here countless times. It is a very open atmosphere, great for kids and no matter what time it is, they always seem to find a table for us. The salads are so good and fresh that they could aptly rename the place The Salad Place. The pizza is very good. I have ordered most of the selections on the menu. The wait staff is polite and efficient while the young men at the cooking station always get the food out within a reasonable time. There is a good assortment of soups which I also enjoy. Ive recommended this place to countless familiy friends and always heard postive feedback.

We love to come here for the chopped pasta salad and gourmet pizza. The service is usually friendly and the food comes quickly. Tonight was an exception. We waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged and instead of being greeted kindly, the waitress (woman with a long brown ponytail) took out her notepad and said only ‚“All set?” I would have loved to have heard her apologize for the wait or ask us if we’d like to start with drinks. Maybe even just hello. After each menu item we ordered, she would say,“Got it.” We both deviated from our norm and ordered the chicken parmigiano dinners. They came with a dinner salad. My husband asked for feta to be added to his. What we received, instead of two dinner salads, was 1 gorgonzola salad. No feta. We would have told the waitress had she stopped back at the table. The chicken was dry, the sauce was watery and the pasta was undercooked. The waitress asked if I’d like another glass of wine as she breezed by, and I said yes. It never came. We were made to feel as if the waitress was doing us a favor by taking our order. It was a disappointment and put a damper on our evening. I understand that it was a busy night, but whatever her problem was, it was her job to put a smile on and make us feel welcome. A brief apology for the slow service would have gone miles as well as a quick check in to see if we needed anything. I think I will wait awhile before coming back.

We love pizza place and order take out at least once a week! The pizza is killer (even the gluten free option) and the gorgonzola salad is amazing! The service has always been wonderful too!

A friend and I tried Pizzaplace after driving past it ever since it opened. It was OK.
The staff were super-​duper nice and helpful. The décor is cute and they use high-​quality plates (which makes food taste better in my opinion). The portion sizes were enormous.
It took kind of a long time to get served, and the food was just OK. My raviolis were fine, but there was clearly a lot of water left in the plate when it was sauced. My friend had a grinder, which he enjoyed, but wasn’t spectacular.
I found the bathroom to be a bit odd, but it was clean.

Nice selection of beer with pizza by the slice. All for a reasonable price. Service was good, although a little confusing and straight to the point. Pizza was delicious, nice and greasy!

Great dining experience. Outdoor seating available. Nice menu with many pizza choices or create your own. Had the Italian wedding soup which was delicious. I ordered the chicken cacciatore pie which was just wonderful. Must go back.

I have only eaten here a few times over the course of several years.
like:
the giant menu, full of lots of choices (so don’t come here if your brain isn’t working)
the yummy food, especially the good pizza with a thin crust that I love, flavorful ingredients, large portions
yummy salads, with decent homemade dressings, better than I expect from a pizza restaurant
don’t like:
waitress was neglectful and I’m not sure why. I was ticked that I had to ask for everything – more water (a few times), fresh pepper, dessert menu. She also didn’t clear the table much (pet peeve).
the restaurant could simply refill waters instead of bringing an entirely new cup with a disposable straw. America, we have to stop using so much disposable plastic! Next time I’ll remember to ask for no straw.
The bathroom was pretty gross, smelled musty and pee-​full, very messy floor and toilet paper.
Perhaps they need to hire more waitstaff with more experience who tend the customers better as well as have a dedicated person to clean bathrooms.
It’s noisy with families, but also fairly large. You can sit inside or out.
It really deserves 3.5 stars for the bathroom and waitress, but 4 for the food.

Everything I’ve tired here has been delicious. The Gorgonzola salad is loaded with Gorgonzola cheese, tomatoes, onions and my favorite pizza is their buffalo chicken. Service is attentive without hovering too much.

I heard the pizza was the best. I was not impressed by the taste at all. I ordered the steak and cheese and a cheese flatbread appetizer. My husband can make a pizza way tastier at home. It had no taste and the steak was bland too. The cheese appetizer which was $ 5.50 was more tasty but also not that good. Also the server was like I’m new. A lot of young staff. We had to ask for everything from Parmesan cheese, to crayons to our check.

Dinner tonight was a large Italian grinder for myself (I’ll eat half and save half for tomorrow.) a large chopped pasta salad and Dave’s garlic bread for my wife and son to spilt. This is probably the best Italian grinder I’ve ever had. At 18″ it is way too much for one person. The bread is always fresh and in high demand, in fact if you don’t order early enough during peak summer season they run out. The cold cuts including salami, cappicola, mortadella and provolone cheese are always fresh as well.
The chopped pasta salad is excellent with fresh ingredients including chunks of chicken, Gorgonzola cheese, ditalini macaroni and balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
Dave’s garlic bread is pizza crust with a perfect blend of garlic, oregano, salt, pepper and mozzarella cheese.

I get the chopped pasta salad from them every week, its my fav! The consistency varies however, sometimes its very good and sometimes it is so so.
Their customer service though, is AMAZING! Whenever they mess up with my order, I give them a call back and they send me a gift certificate for the item. One time I went to pick up an order and they had accidentally given it out to the wrong person, they rushed my order and gave it to me for free. The excellent service is half the reason i keep going back.

Been going here for over ten years. The best pizza I have ever had. Good salads are the blacksmith, and chopped pasta.

There is definitely a pizza for everyone too. Delicious all around. Very friendly staff and clean restaurant. Centrally located in downtown westerly.
