Service was eh. Needs to be better organized and faster. Also the clam strips were soggy. Also the burgers were too well done. The clam chowder was also not up to par, but hey it’s only of the only places to eat around.

Took one bite of my ten dollar Tuna sandwich to realize, it has celery in it which I’m allergic to. Made me pay ten buck for another sandwich that cost 2 to make. I know it’s not their fault I was allergic to the food but Atleast offer a discount for the new sandwich. Plus I wanted to add peppers and onions, she told me it was a small fee, when asked what small fee was it was $ 1.90 Poor customer service for expensive sandwiches.

Can we say: Tourist Trap? I do believe we can! I went to the beach just the other day, and I found myself wandering away from it towards the shops and restaurants. It was in Mid stride I discovered that I was rather hungry, and it was my birthday so I decided to treat myself to Clam Strips. Anthony’s was right in front of me(which I should have known not to go there, but shame on me for falling for the first thing I saw.) I really wanted Whole Belly clams, but the girls at the counter told me for a basket it would be a whopping 17.99. So, I settled for a basket of regular old Clam strips. They were… Bland to say the least, and they seemed to be covered in some sort of bread crumb batter, versus the traditional batter that most people use. My basket of clams and fries came out to be around $ 11.35. As I’ve stated before I’m not cheap, however after I was done eatting I decided to wander more, and came across two more places to eat(One was a Food truck), and one place charged 6.00 for a basket of clam strips — with fries, and the other 7.00. Needless to say I felt rather ripped off, and I guarantee if I were to try one of the other places the strips would have been far superior. As for the French Fries?. EH, I’m pretty sure they don’t make their own, as I’ve seen plenty of places serve the exact same fry as Anthony’s did. Only positive thing I really have to say about Anthony’s is that it has a nice sitting area outside with umbrellas, AND it serves cocktails almost all day(if not all day).

I like Anthony’s for breakfast. Other times that I’ve been here I’ve been disappointed. It’s inconsistent and the service can be really rough. It has changed a lot over the years and lately seems like it might be under new management. Things seemed a little more professional. I’ll update this review after a couple more trips because it is possible that I’m tainting new management with the sins of past owners.

Extremely disapointed. Ordered a lobster roll that was supposed to come with fries. Fries were not included and had to be ordered seperatly. The lobster was not buttery or flavorful in the slightest. Plus came on a burger bun with lettuce. Super soggy and just a sad excuse for a lobster roll. And the fires I ordered were more filling and better tasting than the sandwich For the 23.00 I spent I expected a decent tray of food, boy was I wrong. I will NEVER eat there again.

We were at Foxwoods and decided to drive up to Rhode Island for breakfast. Obviously, you cannot screw up breakfast, at least most places don’t but I wanted to write the review anyway. I thought the prices were fair, it was a great place to «people watch» and the food was good. The meat portions could have been a little larger. Our waitress was Lauren who was really friendly and darn good.
