Tried it for the first time today even though it’s close to us. Got the cinnamon swirl French toast, and tried the ham which were both yummy. We ordered my son some pancakes off the kids menu and they were huge. Called in our order early and expected the usual grumpy person at the line like other early morning places and nope– got great customer service. Plan to make this our go-to spot for breakfast.

One of our favorite, long time, local breakfast establishments. Mostly everything is pretty good on the menu. The skillets are my go to item. Place can be packed at peak times so we preferred to go when a little bit less chaotic. We will continue to visit here as long as we can

This restaurant is wonderful! Great staff and the food is A+ in my opinion. The Meat Lovers Skillet is my favorite! Pancakes are hands down the Best around. Southern Skillet– also amazing! Good coffee too :) I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants large portions of fantastic food.

I am a regular and I love this place! I am always impressed. It provides a good atmosphere with friendly people and the food it always great! Did I mention that the prices are reasonable as well. I just went this passed Saturday for the umpteenth time! I was once again impressed! The lady knew my daughter’s name and addressed the two of use accordingly. I was also there with my oldest daughter(she doesnt like to hang with the little one and me so she’s not a regular!) and my 3 step sons. She said full house today mom, looks like you have some guests with you. I dont know about most of you, but I think that is customer service at it’s finest. To actually remember who I am and remember who I normally come with and know when it’s not my «regular guests» says a lot. It actually shows me that they are paying attention and they they care enough to remember. The food portions are great as well! I normally order the 1 egg breakfast which comes with a choice of pancakes or french toast, 1 egg(which feels like 2), a choice of bacon or sausage(i always choose turkey sausage), plus hashbrowns! Did someone say full! Sheesh, I am ready to go back to bed after that hearty meal. I suggest trying this place if you havent already! I have lived in this area nearly my entire life and had never ventured in. im so happy I did!

That was some good breakfast!!! Corned beef hash was crispy! I could have done without the hash browns because there were already potatoes in my corned beef hash, but I wouldn’t downgrade them for that at all. The waitress came back to refill coffee faster than I could drink it. It never got cold! Free WiFi is nice too. If I’m ever in Westchester again, I’d definitely come back here. Breakfast for two(with coffee) was about $ 22.00

Where to start? Hmmm… I guess there’s nothing really wrong with it, service was prompt, place looks clean, just food is average. The prices are average as well and some items maybe a little higher than I’d like to pay, the big no no for us was the coffee, me and my wife are big coffee drinkers and understand most restaurants don’t carry high quality coffees, having said that, the coffee was not good, I normally drink my coffee black but had to out lots of sugar and cream and was able to drink it, my wife just straight up left it there. But I’d like to say most people wouldn’t really care or noticed. Would we come back? If it wasn’t because if the coffee probably would in a given situation.

Many many years after having a subpar experience here we decided to give it another try. Sadly, no surprises to report. Expensive, tasteless food. How can you screw up scrambled eggs? This place manages to do it. When I’m not even interested in taking home any leftovers, something has to be wrong. We’re sticking to Mother’s Day down the street. Way better tasting, better value, and yummy leftovers.

Nice small family style restaurant. The owner is greeting all the customers that speaks VOLUME! First visit, chicken breast omelette was cooked perfectly! Staff very friendly and nice/clean. Reminds me of my childhood eateries Definitely a best kept secret in Westchester, IL.

What started out with basic expectations, turned into a very bad dining experience. I ordered the Cherry Crepes, My hubby the spinach omelet with hashbrowns. The order came out within 5 – 7 minutes. .Already a problem. Hashbrowns take more time to cook than 5 to 7 minutes. My hubby’s hashbrowns were OLD … Not fresh. WORSETHING to serve is OLDPOTATOES ! And their«OMELET» … Was this thick egg cake… THEYDONOTUSEFRESHEGGSFOROMELETS !.. They use a process liquid egg. In addition, it was not a nice pan or skillet omelet, but they obviously use one of those Sandwich pocket makers to make their«Omelets». NOTGOODATALL. My husband didn’t eat it and when the waitress asked was something wrong for noticing he hadn’t eaten the food, he told her«the hash browns were not fresh». She simply replied okay and walked away. BADBADMOVE! If you see that a customer is obviously not satisfied, you are suppose to OFFER or TRY to correct the issue. She did not care. She didn’t offer to bring out a freshly cooked plate. to take it off the bill.NOTHING. I usually ALWAYS tip, even when the food is not to my satisfaction, because it is NEVER the servers fault what the cook does. But when you don’t care that your patron has an issue. You will get the same consideration that you gave that customer. Which is NONE ! Local dives usually have the best food. This is not the case here.

A great DINER. Coffee comes fast, servers are nice and menu it pretty large and the price point is very reasonable. If you’re tired of spending $ 50+ on breakfast this is your spot.

I went there for breakfast last weekend and the meal was great. Service was superquick food was hot and tasty and we were in and out within an hour and a half and took our time. This restaurant is only open until 3PM but if you are interested in having a great breakfast or lunch this is the place to go. The biscuits and gravy were outstanding!

We’ve been going here for years and to be honest since Mary’s departure the place has gone down, which has resulted in our visits becoming less frequent. We decided to go here today for breakfast because of the convenient location. The food was average and the service was below par. Although it wasn’t busy when we dined, I would think the staff could better occupy their time besides socializing and eating while working their stations. With that being said, Le Petite will continue to be our last resort for our breakfast needs. It’s sad to see a local business take a turn like this.

A friend and I came here for a Sunday brunch, there was a small crowd when we first got there but we waited no more than five minutes to get seated The food was great and the portions were generous for the price. The French toast is amazing and my friend really loved his chorizo skillet. Overall a great experience, only thing I would say is our server didn’t smile much at all but other than that it merits five stars.

Went in for a weekend breakfast with my family. The pricing for entrees was more than reasonable, but a side of sausage and a single scrambled egg for my 2 year old son was quite expensive for some odd reason. Food was of good quality and the service was brisk.

Nice place for breakfast, food portion was filling, we ordered the skillet taco and skillet hash browns, took home ½ the meals. Waitress and staff were very accommodating. Parking space a plus, we walked right in and was seated. Thumbs up, come in with an appetite. Orange juice, fleshly squeezed; however no free refills that was a downer.

Amazing veggie skillet and rich dessert snickers pancakes! HUGE portions, decent prices. Service wasn’t the best though. Our server forgot to put in part of our order, took awhile to check in, and took a long time to get us our boxes and check. He was very attentive to the neighboring table of businessmen though.

I had the gypsy skillet with french toast. I enjoyed it though my eggs were a little runny. My G/F had the breakfast sampler with regular toast. She complained about the service and about her eggs being runny in spite 9f her specific instructions to cook the white and leave the yolk. Her food was also a little cold. She was happy with the portion size. My buddy had 2 eggs with ham, corn beef hash and pancakes. The ham slices were huge and he couldnt finish the meal. Overall we agree that this joint deserves 3 stars.

This place is good for a nice breakfast. We had skirt steak and eggs. it is good for families too. The service was very good here, our coffee never got half way gone before they were already refilling it. Our server today was Maria, and she was very good.

I went there for a late breakfast and was surprised when I got my bill that I was charged for hot water I ordered. Go figure, i don’t like cold water w/lemon but hot water instead. When I questioned it at the cash register, the waitress merely responded that they always charge for hot water, like it was a stupid question. I was so surprised by her answer and the fact I had to pay for water, I told them it would be my LAST time in the restaurant.

Found this with the help of Unilocal.Thank you Unilocal.I really enjoyed this place. It is exactly as the review make it sound. The interior is just like you would want a breakfast spot of choice — the walls and trim had a rose colored paint and flowery accents here and there. There were stained glass accents, odd lighting and just all kinds of design features that took you back to 1986. The whole place was quirky. All that being said, the food was great. The staff and service were quick. The price was overall pretty cheap for what we got. The coffee was fitting for a place like this — strong, bold, maybe a little dated, but just right. If I am ever in the Chicago-greater area again, I’ll stop in to check on this place. I bet I see the same patrons packing the booths and tables, and the same exact decorations.
