Giordano’s

I love cheese, so this is the best kind of pizza to me! It is very heavy and you won’t need to eat much to get full, but you will want to keep eating until you burst! It’s that good.

I always enjoy Giordanos Pizza. This was not my first visit to the Westchester location. This time around my my experience did not meet expectations. While the pizza was great (tried the new chicken sausage, spinach one) our server wasn’t exactly the best. He seemed upset when I asked if one of the many TV’s could be changed to my sport team. To taking our orders and talking to a busboy at the same time. (our busboy was phenomenal by the way, got us refills and wrapped our pizza without having to be called) We just never felt comfortable in fact we felt rushed. Restaurant was. ¼ full and he may have been the only waiter, but I still think you should be on your game or delegate with your assistants. Not a great birthday celebration.

We ordered a heart shaped pizza for Valentines Day, My granddaughter was so excited to go with to get her heart shspe pizza so went from Berwyn all the way to WestChester to pick it up in the cold and snow, when we got it home it was supposed to be a heart shaped cheese pizza but it was sausage and pepperoni when we called they said that we can come out and get another one we asked them to deliver it they refused they said we will give us $ 20 off of your next order we then proceeded to tell them we cannot take our grand daughter back out in the cold and snow that they should deliver it, again they refused. is this how they do business I know they were busy but she should have been at the top of the line since she was the one who went to get her pizza in the cold and snow and they did not make it correctly, my grandfaughter was heartbroken that she did not get her heart shaped pizza for Valentine’s Day. We don’t get her very often and this time she was so excited I don’t understand why they could not deliver to her, since it was their mistake, the manager said they had too many people ahead of her to order pizzas I told her she was way ahead of those people because she already got her pizza brought it all the way home and then it was the wrong pizza. They do not care to rectify the situation except for give us $ 20 on our next visit and after telling us that she could not deliver the pizza all of a sudden after I told her we order another pizza from a local pizzeria but it was not heart-​shaped because my granddaughter was hungry then she told me she could deliver it I don’t get it. Very good service at all

Plan on getting a little food for alot of money. Ordered chicken parmesan that was supposed to feed 5 according to the person who took our order .It only had 2 pieces of chicken and not that much spaghetti. It barely fed 2 adults and 2 kids all average size peo
ple. The sauce had no flavor. I have always gotten pizza and that’s decent. I wouldn’t recommend anything else though.

I contacted the restaurant about the undercooked pizza and they replaced it! Thank goodness I decided to call them because otherwise we would’ve thrown out a $ 28 pizza! Thanks Giordanos.

Service was super slow. Over 1.5 hours to get a pizza. We seen them serve it to another table and then they lied to cover it up.

Food and service was horrible tonight. I ordered the super veggie pizza and it literally came with NO SAUCE. Even the manager was apologetic. Nice of him to take the pizza off the bill, but we left hungry. The waitress was short… every time she came to the table she just dropped everything like it was burning a hole in her hand and left. I wanted to ask her if she was tired of serving and if so, she should ask to go home. The only reason I gave 1 star is because it’s the Unilocal minimum!
2÷6÷2015 Follow up: So someone from the marketing department contacted me about my review/​experience to apologize and say that someone from the store would contact me. As of this date, I have not heard from anyone from this location. Reflective of my experience, so I am not surprised.
IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA AND ARE LOOKING FOR GREAT PIZZA, GO TO BEGGARS PIZZA in Maywood or try ROCKY’S in Westchester. Beggars is a few minutes from here, but definitely worth the drive. Both Rocky’s and Beggars have a better product and customer service than this Giordano’s location. Unilocal them both.

I am from Indianapolis and I have never pizza like this. Best pizza and garlic fries I have ever had. This is a must when visiting Chicago.

While visiting the Westchester area I wanted to try a Chicago deep dish pizza. This restaurant was near by and I was told it was“OK”. A friend and I walked in to an almost empty restaurant, but it was a Wednesday night at 9pm. The person greeted us by saying «Hi, two?». We were seated an approached by a melancholy waitress. We placed our order and learned pretty quickly that this would be a mediocre meal with a lack luster staff. We were told to expect a 45 minute wait for our pizza which tasted like the crust was pre made. I can say I tried deep dish but I will try somewhere else next time.

We’ve been here about 2 minutes, our waiter came and handed us menus and said «what did you guys want?» Well sir, I think what I want the most is about 3 minutes to read the menu. My boyfriend asked what beer they have on tap and he just pointed to the wine list and left, it is supposed to have beer on the back but doesn’t, so we still don’t know what beer they have. We ordered a sampler platter and when he came back with our waters he asked what kind of appetizers we want…
Not sure how the rest of the meal is going to go but right now I feel like I’m really imposing on something important he would rather be doing.

Tried this place out on our weekend in Chicago for my birthday. We had the Calamri and more appetizer. So nummers! We got a small stuffed peperoni & sausage.
The whole dining experience was quite good. If we brave Chicago again, we will return!

A good place to have Chicago style pizza with your friends and family. I have been to this place with my friends and ordered in advance for 2 stuffed sausage pizza as it took them 40min to prepare this dish.
So, after reaching here we got our order. The taste was really good, and more than enough for us. Many options in beer, service is quick and ambiance is also very decent.

Chicago Deep Dish Pizza!
This has basically been the brand that has hammered in my head what Chicago style Deep dish pizza is… they’ve done a great job at hammering that message to everyone outside of Chicago as well. I’ve only dine in once with a relative from ATL who wanted to come here.
Usually I will place my order and go shopping at Jewels-​Osco right next door. Right after getting my pizza home I’m reminded why I don’t really like Deep dish. (I recently found out that I do like Deep Dish. Just not at Giordano’s)

I ordered the Italian beef sandwich and could only eat two bites, it was to spicy for me. Hubby and son enjoyed it. The salad was okay, the house dressing was delish. Family ordered a pepperoni pizza and the crust was flavorless cardboard/​toast. Food was over priced. We will not return.

Auf der Suche nach einer authentischen Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza hier gelandet. Optisch hat der Laden direkt gut gefallen. Das Mobiliar sieht zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aus, aber auf die richtige Art und Weise — richtig gemütliche American Diner Atmosphäre.
Die Bedienung war auch freundlich und flink: Menükarte kam sofort, nach Getränken wurde nach kurzer Zeit gefragt und ein wenig später nach den Essenswünschen. Getränke wurden auch immer schnell nachgefüllt — keine Gefahr hier mit einem trockenen Glas sitzen zu bleiben.
Bestellt wurde dann eine Stuffed Pizza, und zwar die kleine. Diese hat dann sechs Stücke und das war für zwei Personen wirklich ausreichend. Keine Ahnung, wie man eine mittlere oder große Stuffed Pizza essen kann, geht wohl nur wenn man mit mehr Leuten zusammen bestellt.
Die Pizza selbst war sehr gut, wenn auch recht mit viel Käse. Insbesondere den Pizzarand finde ich besonders lecker. Bei normalen Pizzas lässt man den Rand ja vielleicht mal liegen, bei der Stuffed Pizza ist der aber für mich ein echtes Highlight.
Die Stuffed Pizza ist zwar nicht billig, aber für die gelieferte Qualität noch akzeptabel. In Summe waren für zwei Personen für die Stuffed Pizza mit einem Vorspeisesalat und zwei alkoholfreien Getränken und Trinkgeld $ 40 fällig.
Eines muss man noch wissen: so eine Stuffed Pizza ist hier nichts für Eilige, denn bis die serviert wird vergehen ca. 45 Minuten. Als Tip also vielleicht die Pizza immer eine Nummer kleiner als der Hunger ist nehmen und die Zeit mit einer Vorspeise überbrücken.

Good solid Chicago-​style pizza. I prefer Lou Malnati’s for a chain Chicago-​style pizza, but this is a good choice as well.

Been here a few times for deep dish. Yummy! Lots of melt in your mouth cheese, mmmm. Thick, plentiful slices, very filling. I always have leftovers
I prefer carry out, over dining in. My experience dining in wasn’t that great. Our waiter wasn’t attentive… Maybe just an off day. But their pizza never disappoints. Not too pricey, fresh ingredients

While in Chicago, I had to check out their deep dish pizza and I heard Giordano’s is the place to be. We ordered the Special Deep Dish Pizza (sausage, mushrooms, green pepper, and onions) with an addition of pineapple because I LOVE PINEAPPLE: D! We also added the Caesar Salad. The pizza was pretty good, and I get why everyone loved their deep dish pizza since it was stuffed so much. I’m more of a thin crust pizza kinda gal though. But, the cheese on their pizza was awesome and you can see the quality as you take a slice out and the pizza stretches! Nothing special about the salad though.

Always tasty Chicago pie, always expensive. Close to $ 35 for their large Chicago classic. Yikes.

This place is my favorite, with a cozy setting and amazing service we make this our family’s Giordano’s location. The foods great (duh) and service is super friendly. They even play christian music! Defiantly recommend this spot next time you want pizza!

My wife and I have been going to Giordano’s for years. In Chicagoland they are everywhere. We went to this one last Saturday (29-​Mar-​2014) with some friends that were visiting from Colorado. We were 6 adults and 3 small children and we arrived with no reservation at 6:30pm. I was amazed that we were seated within 5 minutes. Our server really did try his best, and we could all tell that he was frustrated because it seemed like they were understaffed. He was always having to help the other server and the bus boys. It just didn’t seem right that there would only be two servers working on a Saturday evening. Refills were hard to come by, but the service was overall just ok.
The fried calamari is a good appetizer, and the deep dish pizza was good also. There just wasn’t a lot about the experience that really stood our or made me think I would need to come back. I have Giordano’s locations down the street from where I live and another across the street from my job, so I’ll keep them as backups if I’m ever super hungry, and there isn’t anywhere else to go.
Our group reported a bill of $ 108.00, and because of the size of the group that $ 108.00 included a 15% service charge. Nothing against the server personally, but we didn’t leave any additional tip/​gratuity.
