I previously gave Tim Hortons 3 stars but I’ve been back a bunch of times and have to write an update. I would like to declare that: TIMHORTONSISKING. I will say that I still like Dunkin Donuts coffee better, but Tim Hortons’ coffee is second only to DD in terms of smoothness. And it is SO much cheaper. Last time I went, I got a medium for $ 1. Can’t beat it. I don’t recommend their iced coffee though. It sucksss. In addition, donuts here are always $ 0.99. And the donuts are so much better, fresher, and tastier than DD. I’ve sampled many of them and here is my advice: don’t get the Canadian Maple donut. It’s not very good. The chocolate frosted is banging. The strawbery frosted is banging. The honey cruller is banging. The raspberry filled is banging. The honey dipped is banging. I wish there were more Tim Hortons in the area because it would kill the competiton. I’m glad I live right by this one in Westbury.

Being from Toronto myself seeing this once I moved is amazing, when you get $ 20.00 or more of gas you get a free coffee! They always seem to have a $ 1.00 coffee specials too! The staff is very nice and the donuts are great, I have to try the breakfast and lunch items, I seen today they are running 2 for 4 breakfast sammys! That’s on my list next. I hope they get steeped tea one day!

Actually stopped for gas and Tim Hortons AKA Gulf station was the nearest to were I was. Sore a big sign full serve and the price seemed to be good. Then I pulled into the station and only one pump was full serve and it was 20 cents more. I thought that was deceptive advertising. I also saw the sign for Tim Hortons and the name sound familiar, But could not remember where from. Went in and they were like a dunken donuts but better. Had a chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles and it was delicious. Give Tim Hortons 4 stars But the Gulf station only 2 So unfortunately overall ill give it a 3.

Coming back from Canada over the holidays, I was missing Tim Horton’s abroad and went out of my way to visit here. Unfortunately what I received by no means represents the chain. –French Vanilla — their best signature drink IMO and what I got was flat without any froth. Very disappointed. –Ice Cap(pucino) — another signature drink that failed, mostly poorly blended ice with artificial sweet flavor. –Sour cream glazed donut — the flavor profile is not good, doesn’t taste anything like The Canadian version. It’s unfortunate this place is inside a gas station along the main road, because the chain does have a lot of potential if done correctly as a standalone shop. Dare I say more potential than Dunkin Donuts? Side note, Unilocal check in gives you 10% off your order.

The night before, we were craving donuts and went to 4 of the competitors in my area. NONEOFTHEMHADDONUTS!!! The next day, I was in the Westbury area and remembered seeing a Tim Horton’s donut sign at a gas station. So we went in and were not disappointed with the selection. Got a dozen, which ended up being cheaper than the competition, even with a coupon! My only negative was that the cashier(who was very nice and friendly) said that their system was not hooked up and couldn’t honor the 10% off that Unilocal offers. Looks like our new donut shop!

Finally a Tim Hortons in Long Island. My best guy friend is an Canadian. I spent my winter vacation in Toronto. I lived in a lux hotel near the CN tower with stunning waterfront view. Down the lux hotel, there is a Tim Hortons. The coffee was so great but cheap. A Canadian-style Donkin Donuts. I prefer hot white choco. But I knew double double was great too! I highly recommend the bagels! So crunchy and crispy. The gazed maple and raisin. Way better than Trader Joe’s artisan bagels!

Running some errands. Received an notification of 10% discount off my entire order. Stopped in to redeem my offer. Ordered a Large decaffeinated coffee with sugar and cream. Old fashioned donut. As I waited for my coffee preparations. The server and I began to chat about various choices of donuts as she shared there muffin menu as well. Establishment was very clean and organized. Staffing very friendly. There wasn’t a line., so my time inside was very quick. Great location from either direction. Prices very reasonable as well as their gas prices. Outside area was extremely clean. Absolutely no debris or trashed found anywhere.

It is coffee. Is it better than Dunkin? I don’t know. Is it better than Starchucks? Yep. Definitely. It is not as strong or as bitter tasting as Starbucks. It cost the same as either Dunkin or Starbucks so whatever floats your boat

Hands down best customer service I’ve experienced at a gas station, I stopped in to get some donuts from the Tim Horton Bakery inside the convenience store and everyone was extremely polite. The donuts were fresh and delicious too!

My wife is a Canadian ex-pat and when we saw Tim Horton’s on Long Island I almost crashed the car. Don’t let the location fool you, it is tucked inside a Gulf gas station but it is the real deal! Ever since our first visit we have made it a weekly trip for coffee(and maybe a treat). The staff is friendly(and often the same people). The coffee is always fresh and tastes just as good any Tim’s in Canada or Western NY. The doughnuts and pastries are very good as well. Canadian maple and glazed raspberry are my personal favorites. The new Nutella items are very good as well. Depending on the time that you go, the pastries may not be as fresh. I find that is the only major difference between this Tim’s and the ones in Canada. In Canada they are almost always fresh. Regardless, this Tim’s is MUCH needed on Long Island. I love Tim Horton’s coffee and would take it any day over Dunkin… yeah I said it!

Loyal Dunkin Donuts patron converted upon first visit; yes that shall be the title for this review. Nevermind that the place is small and it’s located within a Gulf station convenience store. I can look past all that. I got a medium iced coffee, the new Nutella filled pastry pockets, and a honey cruller and walked away without feeling like my wallet had been raped. The total was $ 5. The employees were friendly and got my order ready at lightning speed. The cruller was good and flaky and slightly less sweet than the frosted DD version. I actually like this one much better. Now the main reason I came here in the first place was because I saw a magical word on their website and that word is NUTELLA. You got Nutella? I’m there no questions asked! The nutella pastries were delicious, honestly I feel like they could have been filled a tad more but I could just be greedy. The coffee was tasty too, and somehow they managed the add the sugar to my iced coffee without leaving a gritty sugary mess at the bottom of my cup like they do at DD literally everytime I have iced coffee. Coffee should not be crunchy, got it! Well, that was yummy. Sweet tooth satisfied, mission accomplished.

Delicious coffee! Great cinnamon buns. Friendly, fast service. Ok that was Saturday. … I decided to bring my daughter today(Sunday) to show her my great new find! I was totally amazed. That did not last long. Today’s visit was not much like yesterday. My coffee was delicious, even though I was given the wrong size. My daughter’s iced latte was very watery. Her cinnamon bun was delicious, but the 2 donuts I purchased for my husband and I did not taste fresh, they were dry. Then the difference in service, yesterday the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and personable– today, the lady working was not as friendly or even knowledgeable about what promotions are going on. I asked her for a card to collect logo stickers, she said you don’t get them there, that people already come in with them. Then she said to check in with the manager tomorrow because they are out of them and the manager is off every Sunday. Saturday I gave 5 stars, today was a 2… so I will change my rating to a 3 until I go 1 more time.

Few years ago I tried Tim Horton’s coffee in Canada, loved it and have been looking for it ever since. After seeing the sign this morning I walked in, thinking it’s just some gas station, but was curious about their coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to see the girls behind the counter smiling and greeting everyone, and providing an outstanding service! I had a latte(half the price of Starbucks) and absolutely loved it! I was blown away with the cleanliness, quality of coffee and the staff’s curtesy. Will be back!

They’re ruining Tim Horton’s reputation! I’ve tried regular cappuccino, which tasted nothing like the one from Canada, and the ice cap was decent the first time but my most recent cup had even a weird taste to it… I might need to just travel farther to get my coffee next time…

Finally, a Tim horton’s on Long Island! As a expat Canadian, I’ve been waiting so long! Best coffee around. Better than DD, Starbucks and whatever other junk you want to compare. Coffee: 5 stars Donuts: 5 stars(maple dip and Sour cream glazed are the best. trust me!) sandwiches: n/a(never get, so can’t rate) Service: 4.5 stars — they still don’t know all the cool-canadian-kids lingo(double double, regular, etc) but theyre great otherwise. Atmosphere: one standing table. It’s a gas station what do you expect? Just get your coffee and leave! :-) Will I go back? I go 2 miles out of my way to get their coffee. I’m Canadian, of course I’ll be back!
