Post Bagel Cafe

Es horrible espera una hora Por una pupusa para mi hija y nunca la llevaron tuve q levantarme de la mesa. Y pregunte q si se tardaban tanto y nadie me contestó el peor trato a los clientes.
Page las bebidas q me tome para esperar las pupusaa q nunca llegaron y nadie me dijo. Perdón por lo q había pasado porq la jefa no estaba ahí todos hacen lo q quieren y no les importa los clientes
Tenía 6 años de comprar ahí pero nunca más vuelvo a ir horrible

DONT GO!!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I walked in to get a bagel because its called POST BAGELS and they had only 2 kinds to choose. Sesame & Everything only with only 2 – 3 of each. They only have 1 cream cheese regular and butter available. Not even non-​fat! What kind of place is called bagels in their name and doesn’t even have any choices for it!!! Call yourself a bodega then.
Then the young girl who serviced me couldn’t even understand me when I said I wanted a bagel. She had to ask another woman if we had cream cheese too. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES! don’t make them take customers if they can’t even understand the name of the place «bagel».
I decided to get a coffee and even try their chicken tamale to give their Spanish food a try because at least I thought they would know how to cook their own countries food, but I was very disappointed.
Their coffee didn’t taste any better then getting Maxwell coffee at the grocery store. It was completely tasteless and I had to get it myself. The tamale was terrible!!! It barely had any chicken and it was falling apart. I’ve had tamales before and trust me — even Trader Joes have better tamales and it’s frozen there! Disappointment.
The worst part was the bagel. It only had a scrape of cream cheese… Barely any AND the young girl ONLY PUT CREAM CHEESE ON 1 SIDE of the bagel!!! See picture! In my whole life over 30 years, this is the worst I have EVER seen and received. UNACCEPTABLE! Another thing, their bagel was stale & hard!!!
When I paid, another woman took my money and when she gave me my change back, she didn’t even look at me, say thank you or even acknowledge me in any way. I actually had to reach over to get my money from her hand because she was too lazy to try.
The service is bad, the food is bad, the experience is not worth it and there are many other bodega /​bagel & food places around so go there instead. Seriously! I tried to give this place a chance and was nice the whole time. They do not appreciate new customers to get better business.
DONT BOTHER GOING AND DONT EVER BUY A BAGEL FROM HERE! It’s a waste of your time and money.

This place is an absolute gem. Maybe not the greatest area on Long Island, however absolutely the best «spanish food» that I have ever had. I have been stopping in for lunch or dinner to-​go, and ordering from them for catered events at home for 10+ years now.
Best tasting ribs I have ever had. Sauce must be an old family recipe. Its perfect and they are ALWAYS fall off the bone tender. $ 2/​rib last time I was there is such a steal.
Basically everything behind that glass counter is gold and you’re missing out if you let the «Bagel Café» in the title & the corner store décor keep you from this awesome home-​cooked food.
