Terrible experience! I recently had a very nice shirt cleaned here that was only worn for a short time — and only one time with a suit jacket on. When I put it on after it came back from VIP cleaners it had a big hole in the sleeve — an incredibly obvious hole that I would not have missed. I took it back and the guy denied it was them even though they were the first cleaner to get their hands on it.

This place is absolutely horrible. I would give it zero stars if possible. I dropped off three items and ended up making five trips to pick everything up, which was completely ridiculous and a complete waste of my time. I will try to make this brief. I dropped off three items and attempted to pick them all up three days after my slip says they would be ready. I go straight from work and sit in boat loads of traffic to get there, only to be told that they can’t find one of my three items. The woman working, who is completely clueless, gets the Mgr. on her phone and tries multiple times to get me to talk to him on her cell phone. I make it clear I have no interest in speaking with him and just want her to find my item that was to have been completed three days ago! So, utterly frustrated, I leave with 2 out of 3 items only to go home and find a stain smack on the front, middle of my blouse that was NOT there when I dropped it off a few weeks ago. WTF! So, I return the next day and the guy was able to give me my third item that the woman couldn’t find last night, and I tell him about the stain on my blouse and give it to him to re-​do. It was going to be ready over the weekend, but because I was busy, I go after work on Tuesday to pick it up– three days after it was supposed to be ready. The useless woman working there again, can’t find it and calls the Mgr. again. SAME NONSENSE AS LAST TIME. This time though, I take her phone and lay into him, although he can’t really understand what I am saying. Another wasted trip and waste of my time. So, I return for the 5^th time the next day on my lunch break and the Mgr. is once again there and has my blouse. He makes no attempt to apologize and just says that the lady in the evenings is PT. Why are they open if they can’t help customers? Then, he will not reimburse the $ 6.50 cleaning cost for the blouse they ruined, never mind the full value I paid. The stain on the middle is now faint, but I can still see it. And GUESS WHAT, there is another NEW spot on the shoulder now. Are you kidding me?! I despise this place and it makes my blood boil. Avoid it at all possible costs.

I’ve been using VIP for two years now. Consistent service for dry-​cleaning. I’ve never had any clothes damaged there, so I can’t comment on the other posts. Never had any issues with the quality of the service. You do need to specify how you want sweaters handled (hung or folded).

When I got my suit back, though my jacket seemed fine, I realized my pants were ruined. Several holes were made in the fabric. The manager, Chris, insisted this could not happen at his store. However, it did. I demanded my money back and wanted to know if they had insurance for damaged clothing, but he only gave me back the cost of cleaning the pants themselves ($ 5.50) after a lengthy discussion. Seriously? I continued to argue my point and eventually he gave me the full cleaning refund ($ 13.25). The pants are probably worth a couple hundred dollars and I’m arguing for pocket change. A customer who saw the whole exchange came up to me as I was getting into my car to compliment me on keeping my cool as this person admitted it would be impossible for him to do so if this happened to him. Never going back there again.

been here a couple of times for some basic alterations.
they are a pretty honest shop and thus far have been pretty satisfied with the quality and the price. wish they would give me a discount after dropping a couple hundred over the last year on alterations but nothing yet lol. still wont stop me from coming here since after my last episode at a dry cleaners in the area… you realize that sometimes a premium is worth avoiding a potential nightmare.
