My vegetarian wife and I went thru the drive through. she ordered an egg mcmuffin with cheese. Employee says it’s not on the menu, you have to order sausage mc muffin. My wife said, ok give it to me without the meat. Employee advise extra charge for cheese, making the sandwich cost more without the meat. We politely declined and left. .

I don’t think I can say enough bad stuff about McDonalds. Everytime I eat here I feel sick afterwards. I feel very lethargic and most of the time I get really bad heartburn. I don’t even eat McDonald’s anymore unless it’s an emergency and I’m traveling and can’t find anything else.

It’s McDonald’s, don’t expect too much! Food comes out quick, service is okay, but I think that the people who work here are way more polite and friendly than what I’ve come to expect from Mcdonald’s! I haven’t had any issues with messed up orders but I also only go once in awhile for a soft serve cone. But they’ve never screwed that up so we’re good for now! The line to go to this one is too long though — wait time is insane, so just prepare for that!

Worst Service at Mc Donald. They messed up my order and when I called to complain I was asked to either come back same day or a different day. Since I was head to work I told them I will stop by next day. When in next day I was told they never received a call from name was not on there complain book. I call the cooperate office and they send me coupon and this particular location won’t take it.

Love this Mc D’s. We have been going here for a long time. It’s a very busy store but the manager Ashley is awesome and her crew is awesome! They always get my order right and as fast as they can, because you know there’s a lot of picky eaters in this world! Thanks Ashley & crew!

Probably the best service I have had at a McDonalds or any other fast food chain for that matter. Rosio took my order, complimented my daughter’s eyes and gave her a cookie. Im really glad this is my local McDonalds… this will keep me coming back.

Probably one of the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to. A model of how to get very little done and take an extremely long time to do it even with way too many staff. My son and I are eating lunch here right now. Took 12 minutes for one happy meal and two cheese burgers. Crazy! I can see five employees just in the front alone and there are more in the back. No one in line to order food. Drive through only has a couple cars so it’s not like it’s a rush. They are running around like it’s the biggest sales rush ever! Did I mention dirty? I’m constantly swatting flies just trying to survive sitting here while my son eats slowly. Tables are filthy. Soda machines have stuff spilled everywhere and not cleaned up. Soda lids are empty for the drink size I ordered so I had to dig around. If they aren’t cleaning, and aren’t taking orders, and aren’t producing food in under 10 minutes, then what exactly are they doing?

This is right by our house so it ends up getting a lot of our business after kids’ activities and such, so I give it a lot of leeway because I’m too lazy to drive out of my way at 9 o’clock at night. That said, tonight was RIDICULOUS and I won’t be going back anytime soon. Literally over 30 minutes from entering the drive through to when I pulled away from the food window. Waited behind a bunch of cars which was why I figured things were slow, but no. After 7 or 8 minutes I finally get to order. They leave stuff off the order — easily fixable. Pull up to the first window. Wait. Wait some more. Wait. Finally the car in front of me at the food window pulls away so I just pull all the way forward. Drive through employee says: Were you the order with the frozen strawberry lemonade? Nope, frozen regular lemonade. I also say, Hey you might want to put a sign on the first window that nobody’s going to be there and to pull forward. He apologizes, but his name tag is handwritten — clearly he’s new. Five minutes later he comes back and says sorry the frozen lemonade machine is broken. I say fine, give me a coke. That takes a good 10 minutes because now the coke machine isn’t working. Someone comes to help him, but she clearly doesn’t care much. I considered just driving off since I had the food already, but I’m apparently a glutton for punishment so I stay. So between the 8 minutes to order, the 18 minutes from order to payment, and the 10 minutes I waited at the food window, I was beyond livid by the time I left. At least the order was right.

I have no reason to give any less than 5 stars as my food was Mc Perfect and my service although brief(drive thru) was Mc Pleasant. I had a sausage burrito, a sausage, egg, and cheese Mcgriddle, hash brown, and a caramel mocha frappé. All was hot, fresh tasting and not thrown at me. Except the frappé because it is a frozen drink and was cold as intended it was also not thrown at me nor almost spilled due to pushy clumsy hands like has happened before at other places, which is always a plus. I dealt with a young lady at window #1 and another one at window #2. They were polite, professional, and clean in appearance. The parking lot, drive thru lanes(they have 2 order takers and then merge into one lane) were clean, the building was pleasant looking to the eye and I was content with my choice over the Taco Bell next door. :-) I recommend this Mc Donald’s to anyone in the Southport area who has an eurge to Dah Dah Dah Dah Dah Dah. That looks a lot better in my head.(The jingle) SmH

And fast food workers want increased wages? I rarely go here and the reason is that every time they get my order wrong. I order an egg mcmuffin, I get a sausage mcmuffin. I order plain cheese burgers and they never get those right. Really, is it that hard to get orders right? They always forget my kids drink with their happy meals.(You think that goes over well with twin 3 year olds?). There are two lanes for the drive through and it takes forever. Seriously get your act together people! The only thing good is the friendly service.

If I could give 0 or negative stars, I would. Never have I been so frustrated and upset that I have felt compelled to review a fast food establishment, but this is anything but fast. Granted, I didn’t go into the store, I only went through the drive through, but this was the most inefficient place I’ve ever been too. With how long I waited, I could have entered a sit down restaurant, been seated, ordered, received my food, and paid before I even got to the drive through window! No sense of urgency at all, and the staff didn’t even seem to care — they were chatting and hanging out. I’d rather drive across town to another McDonalds — it’d probably even be faster than waiting for this one!

This place is always dirty. I have been here so many times with nobody in the dining room and all the workers are just standing around talking. If it’s always dirty in the dining room, it makes you think how dirty it is behind the counter. Clean the dining room!!!

We try to avoid this place if we can. Unfortunately it is nearby so we do still come in once in awhile. Tonight they were very under staffed and it took forever to order and to get our food. There was one girl working the counter during dinner time. The last time they screwed up our order and only filled the large smoothie I order ¾ the way full. When I questioned it 5he girl blamed it on the machine but did nothing about it. Another time their drive through sign advertised a special. They would not honor it and the manager said they forgot to take the special down. Very poorly run place. McDonald’s corporate should be embarrased.

I go to this McDonald’s on so often cause at near my boyfriends house. The service is pretty slow for a McDonald’s. The staff here are pretty friendly for the most part. The food here to my surprise are fresh and unlike most McDonald’s look like the picture. The dinning area is a little dirty, the ketchup and soda fountains are usually a mess. They seem to cater to the drive thru more so if you want faster service perhaps you are better off waiting in the drive thru line. Oh, I forgot to mention that this McDonald’s closes pretty early… They are not a 24hr so if you have late night munches this is not the place to go!

I have gone to this McDonald’s on several occasions as it is 2 minutes from my home. Even though I have had prior bad experiences, I chalked it up to the person that was working that particular day and hoped future visits would be better. Fail. 1. On one visit, my Big Mac was thrown together. All of the meat, cheese, lettuce, sauce, pickles were on the top half of the sandwich. There was nothing between the bottom two peices of bread. It was like a cheeseburger with an extra peice of bread. I called the manager, who was not apologetic at all and informed me that he normally watches as the sandwiches are made. Really? So you stand there, your entire shift and watch them make sandwiches. GTFOH. 2. On another visit, I received two spoiled yogurt parfaits. Needless to say, my husband and I ended up spending time with the porcelain god. 3. On multiple occasions, there has been so much salt on the fries that the fries were sparkling. Also, the grease is old. You can tell by the taste and darkness of the fries. 4. On another visit, I was asked to hold in drive through. I watched as another car came through, ordered, received their food and drove off. I was still waiting. I drove up to the window, where the cashier apologized even though he wasn’t the one that asked me to hold. It was a woman. When I get to the next window, I see the woman that asked me to hold, she didnt acknowledge it or apologize or anything. I have come to the conclusion that this place is a complete disaster. After multiple visits, and being disappointed everytime, I have decided not to return. This place will be out of business soon. I would rather drive 5 – 10 mins further to get my food made properly with better customer service. Another reviewer stated that this particular McDonald’s is privately owned. That explains a lot.

Usually I don’t review Mc Donald’s or of the like but this was hilarious. They were out of ketsup in the dispenser so I asked for some at the counter, I was told they were out… even the packets! Well when I cut the kids cheeseburger, ketsup came pouring out… there must have been ¾ of a cup of ketsup. The paper place mat had a coupon for the Harlem Globe Trotters, the event occurred a month prior. Prime example of quantity not quality… And it’s a brand new location. Very poor management.
