We ate here again over the weekend. I have had take out subs and pizza and they are the best! Dinning in has been just as good, my partner and I have enjoyed every meal we have gotten here. I recommend Tony’s, and parking is a plus in the city.

I had the linguini with clams, my partner had a shrip scampi. I really liked what I had, my partner was not as impressed with hers. The dishes were expensive for spaghetti. Again the food wasn’t bad at all, but North End prices are something that’d probably prevent me from running back in there any time soon. The bar looks to have one of those weird Massachusetts«cordial licenses», so beer, wine and liqeuers only. Not a big deal, but consider yourself informed. The bartender was friendly, as were the other patrons around the bar. Good local spot with North End prices.

The best slice of pizza around. Nice size and a fair price. Not a lot of good pizza in the area. Tony’s is worth the trip.

Some of the best pizza in Boston. Great mainstream Italian fare, nothing fancy, but always good. Attentive waitstaff, who have worked there forever, always make us feel at home.

Tony’s has been spot on each time we’ve ordered delivery. The food we have ordered has been hot and delicious each time. The chicken and eggplant parm is delicious and a great deal. This is our«go to» for a Friday night dinner.

We have lived in the area for two decades and were always curious about this spot. Read a couple reviews and decided to try it. The salmon was tolerable but not great and the haddock(a chef’s special) was dreadful, tasting like ubiquitous white fish with no flavor and a blob of cheese on top. Tony’s has been around for a long time; we arrived earlier in the evening when it was busy. But, it seemed to have only one seating. If I were really hungry, I might back and try pizza, but there are so many other great places…

Honestly, this place doesn’t deserve one star. The employees are rude and are likely to hang up on you, and the manager is no better. I wish I could comment on the food, but considering they never delivered it to me, I can not. After ordering through their website(which confirms they deliver to your address), they refused to deliver AND wanted me to still pay for the food they made. After telling them I would not, they charged me an «inconvenience fee» of $ 8, because they are too incompetent to fix their own website. It is a poor excuse for a business, and I will NEVER order, recommend, or think about this unfriendly, unprofessional, and unorganized«restaurant» again.

Pizza wasn’t bad, particularly as the cheese had aged so nicely during the 1 hour and 45 minute ride it took to get to our door. Won’t do that again.

We use to love this place. Chicken parm was unedible last week. Pizza is probably the best they have but only order it in. Delivery service is bad and sometimes they are very rude. We are in such a need for a great Italian restaurant in the area and so far we haven’t succeeded. As noted in other reviews, a lot of the food seems to be frozen, wine selection is poor. If you want to get a quick beer and Pizza it is ok and yes their is nothing wrong with the 55 plus crowd sitting at the bar. They are loyal and by the way don’t drive buick’s. Pizza is worth it and so are the people at the bar. I will go again because I have faith the owner will re-evaluate the food situation and fix the delivery service problem.

Finally an italian style pizza. Thin, cheesy and tasty! I’m only giving them three stars because their delivery service is omg awful! I had created an account online and it automatically put my address under zone 1 which is a $ 2 delivery fee. When opening the door, I was not greeted with a hello or a friendly greeting. instead I was yelled at for not putting down $ 4 delivery fee. WTF? I tried explaining to him what happened but kept yelling and finally left saying that he will take $ 4 off from my bill. I called the manager and explained what happened. The manager was nice but I seriously hope he tells his driver that he cannot do that again. If you want Tony’s pizza– suggest you to go pick it up. I’m not sure if i’ll order from them again— still upset about how I was treated.

Love Tony’s PIzza. By far SOMUCH better then others around. However, steer clear of the meatball sub. I was in the mood for a good one and he said his was«the best». No it wasn’t. Bu their sauce is good and the bread was tasty. Also the Greek salad is not really Greek. it’s weird. Steer clear!!!

I use to go to Tony’s back when i had family living in west roxbury years ago. I decided to check Tony’s out many years later. Its ok, just ok. I ordered linguine and clam sauce and you could tell the clams were from a can. The tomato sauce was probably canned too. The food was just ok. The service was nice and the atmosphere was dark. More people at the bar than in the dining room. I would not go back. Just wanted to bring back some old memories.

$ 16.99 for chicken and eggplant parm is expensive for a pizza joint. The food was just south of OK. They stack the eggplant on top of a chicken breast. Both were rather skimpy and I tasted a little bitterness. The meal comes with a side of pasta or vegetable. Add $ 2.99 for a salad. I’ll stick with the pizza there. I like it. Service was very pleasant. We ate in the bar area. Draft pints, including Sam, were under $ 5. That’s good. Let me know what you think of this review by clicking a button below. Thanks.

My boyfriend and I got a pizza from here on Friday night. We ordered kind of late I think it was around 10 actually but they took our order we tried to get deliever but they were about to close. They told us we had 10 mins to get to the place to pick up the pizza. We went and got the pizza. The service was nice and they seemed friendly. We were thankful that they stayed opened for us and made the pizza for us on such short notice. We got home and chowed down the pizza it was absolutely delicious!

I’ve eaten there once and it was, well it was. The service is adequate but certainly not friendly. I am still waiting to find a good italian place where the food actually tastes italian. Serving pasta does not make it italian. Tonight my son was craving ravioli so I called for delivery. It felt like I was inconveniencing them by calling in an order. Sorry to have bothered you, next time I’ll give someone else my business.
