Lovely Nails

This is my 2^nd visit… First time a few weeks ago was for a nail fill which I made an appointment. Glad I did because they were so busy BUT I loved that they honored they’re appointments first and on time. Today I came for a pedicure, again for an appointment honored on time. Both times all staff were clean and super nice and welcoming. You can also feel the vibe from other people that they are repeat customers! Will definitely come again!

Love this place… finally found a nice clean place that does a wonderful job. the girls all know what they are doing and are all very very friendly… A++

Today was my first experience at Lovely Nails. After attempting to get a «back to school» pedicure at another nearby location and leaving frustrated again, I decided to try Lovely Nails. I have often seen the fluorescent sign outside and decided to try my luck here. The women working were wonderfully attentive and welcomed me right when I walked in the door. The shop is clean and comfortable. Customers and staff we’re engaged in conversation and one customer even ordered food for a staff member after they became engaged in conversation about a restaurant nearby. A customer had a little boy with her who both customers and staff engaged as well. I’m so happy that I stopped in today. Although i didnt catch her name, my tech took her time and created an experience I really enjoyed. If it werent for thinking about what to write in this review, I may have fallen asleep. I will definitely be back.

I love love love this place… Lisa is great and so accommodating… my big toe nails tends to grow with a lean to the left and right depending on the foot and she didnt quite get what I was trying to explain to her, so she gave me the file to show her what I was talking about… I loved that! I hate when my nail tech just acts like they know what im talking about, Lisa didnt know and that was ok; she let me help her figure it out… now thats effective customer service and I appreciated it… its been a while since I have left a nail salon happy so thank u lovely nails. Helen is also very nice she did my eyebrows which turned out ok… I will go back for a pedi and maybe even a mani!!!

Unfortunately I have to do this review. The last time I went to get a pedicure, the woman that did it, pretty much RUINED my toe nails! I have been here a few times and have always had a good experience. But this time was the last. I have never seen this lady before so she might be new. The woman who usually runs the shop, i think her name is Lynn but I am not sure… she is very sweet. That is why I did not want to do this, but I have to. Back to how that woman RUINED my nails. She may have not been trained properly and I kind of had a funny feeling about her when she started. She trimmed my toe nails down but they did not look so even. Either way, I let it go. Next she cleaned and scraped out the dirt, as usual. But the ways she did it, was not pleasant and actually started to hurt. Again, I let that go. But this is where the big mistake came. She took the drill and drilled down the top bed of my nails. When she was doing it, I felt a little sensation, but nothing that was of extreme pain. After she was done, I soak my feel in the water and thats when I notice a little more sensitivity. Now again, I let that go. I paid them for my service and went about my way. Weeks later… WHY ARE 2 of MY TOE NAILS RIPPING FROM THE SKIN??? They look like acrylic that popped off from the nail. I wanted to take this further, but I realize I may be looking at something that would take forever. Some of my other toe nails have DRILL marks on them, which are making indentations in the nail and have made them crack. SO right now I have to wait until my nails grow back out, because I wont be able to get someone to really fix this MESS the woman did to my feet. Not to mention those 2 toe nails are painful. I wish I could upload pics in order to show exactly what it looks like. I will NEVER go back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone, unless you do not care who does your nails. If they keep hiring non professionals, sooner or later they will be out of business.

If you want a great pedi & Mani with no frills then this is the place. Why pay more for the décor? I am in and out in no time. Get my mani and pedi for $ 30, plus tip! I’ve been going there for almost 3 yrs and they are always welcoming. They are all highly skilled and I have never had a bad experience. But if your looking for a quiet fancy place then this place isn’t for you. If you want a great mani pedi, don’t mind some annoying customers at times on their phone and to save time and money then this is the place .I call for an apt so I don’t have to wait.
