I don’t know why this place gets mediocre reviews. I arrived at the hotel last night and ate here because it was convenient and was pleasantly surprised. I had the crab cake appetizer and it was delicious. The server was friendly and the manager even more so. They were doing a dancing class that got a nice little crowd and was fun to watch. I’d go back.

Zara’s was good idea in theory, but was actually quite disappointing. We went there for Sunday brunch, were told on Saturday there would be a jazz band playing for brunch on Sunday. The food was a mediocre at best, drinks over priced, and no band. The waitress indicated the Jazz happens maybe one day a week, and/​or maybe on Fridays. The «manager» stood around on his phone most of the time, as opposed to coming around to be certain his patrons were satisfied. When you have only a dozen patrons, it would stand to reason that you would make an attempt to create a relationship and provide exceptional customers service. Not at Zara’s. Quite disappointing!

Tasha & Cecily need to train the other servers. Those two know their way around the bar & the menus. They are great. The bar food is really good, they need more menus to let customers know that bar food is an option. Every time we entertain our guests we only want these two ladies. Good live music.
Since this review I attended Cecily’s Quarter auction. Zara’s hired a new bartender & she was not on point. She wasn’t on top of the fact that it was happy hour. Too quick to tell us prices w/​out being asked. Wasn’t happy with her service.

I dont appreciate it when people break into my gated community. Especially when they leave soggy menus on my dash that end up in the trash anyway!
