This place is great! I’m sure so many must drive right by as it’s tucked away, but it’s SO worth a stop. Fantastic homemade bagels and homemade cream cheese… SO GOOD! Coffee and a bagel with cheese only $ 2.50 and far better than any chain store. My brother in law had Nova (smoked salmon) done up traditionally on a bagel, he LOVED it. The cheese Danish… um…YES. Everything we tried was fantastic and bought more baked goodies to go! Great atmosphere, the owners were friendly and accommodating. We’ll definitely go back and spread the word among our family so when they are down here visiting, they’ll go too. YUM. YUM. YUM!

Couldn’t decide so we tried the cheese Danish, apple turnover, and chocolate cigar. All were delish, but I’d recommend the chocolate cigar hands down! Clean establishment and very friendly staff. Also, couldn’t beat the price for the amount of pastries and drinks we got!

Absolutely the best cheese Danish I have ever tasted.
The service is old fashioned and tender hearted. I found this place while searching Unilocal for nearby places and I’m glad I did. I was unaware of the credit card limitations and didn’t have cash when I walked in. The nicest gentleman named Wally told me to pay him the next time I came by. Who does that anymore? Service… excellent! Food… absolutely delicious! Will be back for more

Stumbled onto this place when going to the vegetable market and was so happy. Finally! A fresh, clean and friendly place for a bagel or pastry and coffee. Wally and Dan who work there are awesome and a riot to talk to. The pastries, omg!!! If I could just sit and eat everything I would. And the smells when you walk in the door, yummos! A must stop along Okeechobee just military on the right.

Fantastic i can’t believe that there’s a bakery a real bakery like the old days fresh bread remember when you walked into a bakery up north the smell well it’s here it finally decided to move the old time bakery is here fresh cookies everything and not only that they serve breakfast too.

Great place for a fresh breakfast! I stop here a few times a week on my way to work, and the staff is always friendly. It’s nice to support locally owned businesses in your own neighborhood!

it was lousy! stop by my favorite bakery (starz) found out it was no longer there.
they claimed their stuff was just as good. I tried a few Danish they were all stale!
