This used to be our go to pizza place until just now. My husband and I sat outside with our dog like we have many, many times, and even though one of the managers or might be the owner, was out there talking to someone, he didn’t even bother to greet us or even acknowledge us. Then, once he went inside, he didn’t even bother to tell the waiters that we were out there! No one ever came out, so we left and will never be back again. The service was never really good, but this was unacceptable. Good job on losing regulars!

Pretty decent. I had slices of their sausage and also pepperoni. The sausage was too sweet for me but the pepperoni pizza was good. I also like their mozzarella sticks. I would go back if I wanted pizza in the area for sure.

Ordered a half-plain half-pepperoni for pick up at lunch. Was ready quickly and a decent price($ 16). No complaints!

Little place just off clematis. No waiting. Crust and sauce made daily. Just great overall. Worth a try. No disappointments.

Stopped here with a group of 7 on a Tuesday night around 5PM. Tasty apps(get the wings), fast service, and solid pizza. Definitely one of the better pizza options in the downtown area. Loved the Upper East Side ‘za, probably because I am very partial to all things prosciutto. Bring some friends, bring some fam & enjoy Hot Pie.

Excellent pizza. Red sauce fresh and delicious tomato taste. Got the Jonny New Yorker and my gf and I both think it is best pizza in wpb, possibly one of top pizzas we have ever had! The coal fired dough is chewy and crusty at the same time, but not burnt. Highly recommend!

Very poorly made pizza, especially for the price. I ordered a small pie, LIGHT cheese, black olives, Italian sausage, well done… also I ordered Buffalo Wings… this was a take out order. $ 27, and I made a mistake of leaving a tip. As soon as I got home and opened the box there was a normal amount of cheese on it, soggy and not well done. The olives, well there’s no other way of putting it, DISGUSTING. I just could not eat the pie. I decided to ring up. The guy said he made 350 pizzas today and had no complaints, nice! New York attitude, no wonder the joint is empty!

Food is great but our servers attitude sucked. She should not be in the business of serving people. Go find a different job.

I love Hot Pie’s pizza and do take-out often since I work very close by. I dined-in for the first time and was taken aback by a couple of things. The waitress/bartender came over to clean off the table for us and sprayed all over the table without moving the pizza toppings or spraying directly into her rag so the chemicals don’t go all over, so we just made a mental note to not use those on our pizza. We then got our plates and 1 was noticeably dirty with food. She saw us inspecting and said«they’re just old plates» to which I replied«no, they’re just dirty» and she replaced the plate. I’ll continue to do take-out here and the staff is very nice but based on this experience, I won’t be dining in again.

Ordered takeout so this review is based on the quality of the pie. Call for a large pepperoni on Sunday evening. Pizza was ready in the 25 minute window time they gave us. The pizza was pretty good, thin crust, quality ingredients, cooked well done(but not burned). I like the pepperoni they use. Place rates well compared the the other pizza places in the area. A little pricey though and wish they had an 18 inch.

I love the pizza, but why are the waitress so cranky? Every time we order we either get stank face, attitude, or just ignored! … Please smile it’s not that bad, at least you have a job. Besides that, best pizza in downtown, and they have a great house salad.

For how many times I have been downtown and walked by this restaurant I have never been here. Which is a shame because they have such good pizza. Between the two of us we finished off the whole pie with no complaints. Last Friday was my first time and I will be going back in the near future.

Fantastic pizza. I love the location, even though parking sucks, which is a trade-off for the cool spot. Super cool staff.

Ask yourself… why, even on the busiest nights in Downtown is that s-hole without a packed house. Well, I asked myself until I gave in and ordered. I called on a Sunday night. Hoping to try a good pie, I called up. They literally answered the phone with«it’s gonna be over an hour fore delivery.» Not hello, or thanks for calling. Whatever, I order. People are people. This pie was CRAP. Three bites in and I threw it down the trash chute. Apparently they don’t do enough business to have fresh products on hand each day. The cheese is rubber and the sauce is from a can. This dump keeps the Restaurant Depot afloat. Good luck staying irrelevant. As for the review from J.W., get off the payroll bro. If you think this pie is great, imma guess you’ve live a sheltered life.

I was very impressed with them at first. Not anymore. The last 3 times I ordered pizza, it was delivered to me completely burnt. The underside of the pie was black and the crust hard as a rock. The final straw was my last order. I was told 45 minutes. No problem. 2 hours later, still no food and everyone had already eaten because it was 8:30 by that time. I got it burnt and cold. What a nice combination. I understand shit happens, but I called 3 times and was offered nothing for my inconvenience except an apology. I was a regular customer and now they lost me to Sam’s Pizza because they obviously don’t need my business.

Surprised by the positive reviews. Extremely unprofessional business. Started off with the woman taking our order not knowing the items on their own menu. She was utterly baffled as to what an arugula w/tomato salad was. Then 40 minutes later when they’re ready to deliver our order they decide they are not going to deliver. Its only 8 miles away, but they aren’t delivering now. Meanwhile my 2 yr old is patiently waiting for food that will not arrive. Offered to pay extra for delivery but the manager isn’t interested in sending someone out«so far.» Stay away.

Best take out pizza I’ve had. I love their«Hot Pie» and arugula salad with tomato. I actually had something similar in London where arugula is called roquette and they leave a hole in the center of the pie where they put the salad in-pretty tasty! So I just put mine on the pizza slices as I eat it. Anyway, it came right at 45 minutes after ordring but it was HOT. I paid $ 30.37 including delivery fee of $ 2.75 which I asked about and the driver said he doesn’t get any of that-so make sure you tip appropriately. YIKES! They are expensive but worth it… once in a while. Four stars because of the delivery fee that the driver doesn’t get. I mean what’s that for? The box?
