Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Decided to rent a car at the last minute while in West Palm. Called them up and they had a car ready for me less then a half hour later. Everyone at this location were very helpful and extremely nice.

Unprofessional and incompetent staff. I was treated like a criminal because I didn’t have a credit card. I travel for a living and have rented over 20 cars in the past year without an issue. I pretty much had to sign over my first born to rent a car for 2 days while mine is in the shop. If I wasn’t stranded I would have went elsewhere. Enterprise you have most definitely lost a customer.

Horrible customer service. These employees really have no clue what they’re doing and greatly lack professionalism. I’ve never been in a more shoddy/​ghetto rental office.

I had to rent a car last minute because of an emergency and they had the best price around. When I got there I was visually upset. The lady (wish I would have gotten her name) was very sweet and understanding! She got me taken care of at lightning speed! Thank you!

I am a 30 year USAA member. My daughter needed a rental car due to an auto accident. We showed up about 5:50PM and are appreciative that they were willing to accommodate us on short notice. That’s about the end of the positive experience. There was a new trainee working the counter who was pleasant but needed guidance on the transaction. There was a gentleman helping her at first. Then a blond lady took over the transaction and boy did she. She is loud, blunt and very lacking in people skills. For some reason, not sure why, she felt the need to explain every policy that pertained to the transaction. My two daughters that were with me were just as perplexed as I at this lady’s incessant need to dominate the conversation. There was another lady in the back (Mgr Trainee) who came out front and also felt the need to interject her snide comments. I asked if there was a comment card and they produced a piece of paper that I could log their «success or failure» in the overall transaction. FAILURE is what I put and FAILURE is what they deserve. This obviously flustered this four man, gang up on the customer team. The blond lady asked very matter-​of-​factly: «What did I do wrong!», so I obliged. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. As is her nature, she interjected and dominated the conversation. My daughter was kind enough to articulate her view of what transpired. When she was finished, I told her «well said, college graduate», speaking only to her as she just graduated and I am a proud father. The Mgr Trainee quickly interjected «we’re all college graduates». 1– I was speaking only to my daughter 2– I don’t care whether they went to school or not. Not my business, just like it was none of her business to interject. Once we got through the intimidation treatment of who is right and who is wrong (apparently not the customer), we finished the transaction and left. As we were leaving, I asked if the manager was going to call me to discuss this very strange exchange. The response was“once my manager sees the score you gave us, he will call you”. I received a call today, two days later, from the manager. He stated that the cost of the car would be more than the insurance allotment. OK. I’m no Warren Buffet but I’m no pauper either. I asked him if he had anything else to share and he said no. I stated that I understood from his employees that he would call me regarding my rental transaction. He stated: «I have no reason to talk to you because you were rude to my team». I was taken aback by this response. I find it hard to believe that anyone would make such a decision without all parties having the opportunity to weigh in. He tried to appease me and said, «you have me now, so I guess I’ll hear what you have to say». At that point, there was no reason to continue the conversation. His mind was already made up. It would have fallen on deaf ears. The two smartest ones of the four are the ones who kept to themselves, the young rep who initially started helping us and the gentleman that tried to assist her in the beginning. The other two should take note. The Enterprise customer service culture is a pervasive sham. The reality is, they could care less. Their concern is only a score on a piece of paper. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE ISSUE. You’ll get nowhere with the staff and manager. I tried to escalate my concerns, but according to the manager, the DM is on vacation. I’ll escalate to the executive team and see if anyone cares at that level. I’ll post my findings so you can make an informed decision on where to rent a vehicle. Whatever the outcome, DON’T RENT HERE!

As expected. No call. Returned the car. Taking my business elsewhere. You should do the same.
