The reason I am knocking off a star is for their clearance items… read on.
Its not as big as the other Torrids I have visited but its a comfortable size with friendly staff that will go out of their way to make sure you find what you are looking for. They have a big clearance section and they carry various new items. I do wish the clearance section was a bit smaller in order for them to carry more of the recent items. I went there today looking for clothes and I saw stuff in clearance that was there from October if not mid September. I think they should give up on those items and add some more new stock. The clearance section took up a quarter of the store. I shouldn’t complain… majority of my purchases were from that section but I can’t get over the fact that I spotted MANY items from last year. Move on with those!
I also noticed that the store doesn’t carry a bunch of size 16; however, the lady on duty was very pleasant and asked me if I want to check other stores… being that I needed this pants sooner than later, I decided against her decision. Majority of the time, staff from other major department stores don’t even bother with a gesture like that.
Half way through trying on items, I became fed up with my selections and after the lady on duty asked me if I needed help, I caved in and accepted her request. She managed to find me many cute items, especially for the description I gave her… she was spot on with my style and my needs.
i have never seen a staff member of a clothing store have so much patience and go out of their way!
Despite the size of the store (which isn’t small), you will definitely find something here.
My only complaint is the clearance section. They need to get rid of some old stuff.
