I’ve ordered from Luna many times over the past year. Always ordering myself wings, because Luna didn’t bread their wings (I’m gluten free) today I ordered wings for the first time in a few months — they’re now breaded. I hear they’re still good (boyfriend ate them), but I’m pretty disappointed that they changed their wings. End rant, Luna is a great restaurant with prompt delivery — but I’m going to have to find a new place to order from.

Wow… I thought I only had this horrible experience, but from the reviews here it seems that it’s a norm with Luna Pizza.
My order came missing an item. I called them to notify them, and the guy on the phone starts laughing and told me the driver will come back with the missing item. 1.5 hours later, no one showed, and the restaurant closed. They charged me for the item, and it made me furious the way they’re treated me. I made sure I notified eat24 (where I placed my order) and they refunded the missing item’s price to my card.
It seems that some people are experiencing the same problem. They get charged for the order and it comes up missing items. Also, ordering and then the food doesn’t show up. Avoid this restaurant because it’s at best a scam.

Just ordered from this place for the first time… and it will be the last time I ever order from Luna. I am a pizza lover, and I know when a pizza has been sitting around and reheated. And that’s what I got from Luna. A pizza that was sitting around, reheated, and delivered to my place almost cold, in a crushed box. I spent $ 14 on an awful pizza, but at least it only cost me $ 14 to know to never order from Luna again! I’ll be spending my money on pizzerias that actually deliver fresh food.

Their pizza is not great, sauce is way too sweet and pies are soggy. Last time I attempted ordering online (only 2^nd time cause nowhere else was open) they never came with my food and still charged my card. Shortly after that, my card number was compromised and being used for charges. Luna was the only recent purchase I made on my card. Whether it was them or not, the whole experience was a turn off. I will never order from them again!

I will never order from them ! My first will be my last. I ordered several items, I received HALF of them, it was DISGUSTING and moreover they never came back with the other part of the order!!! Unacceptable!

Just moved to the area. Needed a quick lunch so I have them a try. Love the big HD television inside showing the Brazil v. Columbia game! Friendly workers, decent pizza (although I like my pepperoni sliced a but saltier).

We were visiting family in the area and after a nice stroll along the water and checking out the amazing views of NYC, it was time to eat. My son has a small (serious) pizza addiction and as we walked along we came upon this neighborhood pizza joint! We had no choice and had to go because the moment my son saw pizza, he was on it like butter on popcorn!
We ordered an XL cheese pie, a dozen hot buffalo wings, fries, two sodas and 2 large iced teas. And I was glad that the wings were fried and not baked! The iced tea was very refreshing, the wings were hot and crispy but a few pieces seemed to be a tad bit salty! The fries, crispy coated goodness! I devoured them with a side of mayo and all the family agreed that the pizza was «good.»
The service was genuine and friendly. The guys in there were very attentive and when we had several requests for various things they filled the request with zero attitude or hesitation.
I have a feeling that we might be visiting them again before the weekend is over. If I lived in the neighborhood I would most likely be a regular. Until then, I’ll visit when I’m around.

I used to love this place in the early 2000s when I was going to grammar school at #2. Their pizzas were awesome! I don’t know if my taste buds have changed over the years or if it’s the new management, I’m not a fan anymore.
Plain slice is subpar, it’s better with toppings, but still, sometimes I just want a plain slice. I’ve never ordered from here since I live so close but last night I came from work very tired and decided to order for delivery. Long story short my order never showed up and they never decided to call. Womp. I tried.

I LOVE LUNASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I’ve read reviews that say «they take forever» they usually take 30 – 45 minutes and I believe its worth it! the food is AMAZING! I’ve tried their pasta, sandwiches & wraps and THEIR WRAPS ARE EVERYTHING!!! I love spicy food so I always make sure i write «make it spicy please» and they do! Not only the workers are super nice! but they make sure you get what you order! I tried their Fettuccine Alfredo and its delish!!! but I love spicy food so i usually just go for their wraps: D I love their food & their customer service! They get 5 stars because Its hard to find a decent restaurant, good price, good food & great customer service.

Pretty darn good pizza. Tried cheese, pasta and chicken, and the buffalo chicken on different occasions… They say they close at 12 but I stopped by tonight on my way home and they were still open at 12:15, and they allowed us to eat in.

HORRIBLE! I have ordered from Luna several times and it keeps getting worse and worse. Delivery takes forever. The final time I ordered pizza, it took 2 hours to arrive. I called Luna back 3 – 4 times wondering where the delivery guy was and got a different excuse every time.
Be very careful if you order delivery, it will most likely take twice as long as they say it will.

While the pizza is better than the rest in the neighborhood, they take forever for delivery (usually over an hour) and thier attitude and cold pizza delivery kill any reason for wanting to order again. We gave it three tries before making a decision and this review was consistent each time.

Well, in truth, Luna’s pizza is okay, not bad, not great either. The main obstacle between Luna and greatness is the fact that they aren’t terribly generous with the toppings. When I order toppings, I like not being able to see cheese. Not that I have anything against cheese, it’s just that cheese should be tasted, not seen, in my opinion.
The reason Luna gets four stars instead of three is because:
The Sicilian pie is HUGE and a great deal for the money. I weighed mine in the box. It was 7 pounds! With two toppings (admittedly not enough of those toppings,) the Sicilian pie is only $ 18. I actually have to freeze it after eating two slices, because it’s so ridiculously huge.
It is about 2 minutes away from my door, so it’s very convenient, and I get to walk through a very pretty neighborhood on the way.
The staff is always very nice and very friendly.
