Dr. Brace is an eclectic, straight shooting gent with fascinating stories a galore. But that’s not what the revenue is about, although I enjoy the fascinating, disjoint conversations we have, the stars he is earning is for for treating my injury. After a hiking injury where the right of right toe was hurting a lot, I spent a few months & $s working with another podiatrist, with no avail. My Chiro recommended me to Dr. Brace. In the first appointment, he said he will cure me. He took a few X rays and suggested getting orthodics, which at $ 350 – 400 a pair and not covered by my insurance made me skeptical, but I got it in a week as he rushed it before the holidays. and 2 months later the pain was gone, something that didnt go for a year was finally gone. He does a few follow up appointments for free post the orthodics, sees you walk and adds to the length of the inserts. I have been there twice, where he added a fourth and then another fourth of an inch to my right leg, which is shorter than my left. I had pretty tight hips and it’s amazing how less they feel stressed after the inserts. My pain in the right foot has returned a bit, but I’m sure it will okay after the adjusting period. To note, its not the inserts, but who you get it and how the take the measurement of the foot that makes a difference, I’ve had inserts before and they didn’t seem as beneficial as what I got from Dr. Brace. He is one of the few sports podiatrist in Texas. He knows what he doing. Always fun visiting him.
