Awkward atmosphere is an agreed statement; as stated in the previous review, years ago. We made the mistake of eating here. I think there are 3 people that work here? First off, they didn’t have half the menu, not even the batter for buffalo tenders. They couldn’t do anything below well-​done on the burgers. Even the salad tasted bad with overdone chicken on top. One of us got the tins sub and it was overloaded with dill and thyme. This is one of those places you think is historic and been around a long while, you want it to be good. This was not. Even the cookies that looked okay at best, we not even that. Got three different cookies and all of them were hard, crispy, and crumbled. The only reason I ranked this even a one star was the fact that the women working there were very courteous and polite. Of course though everything was «the best» according to our waitress. =/

Atmosphere was a little strange and felt more like a diner than anything, the coffee had been sitting on the burner for too long but the food was awesome. The buns were homemade, the burger was yummy, the sweet potato fries were perfect and the homemade peanut butter cookies were delicious. So if you don’t mind an awkward atmosphere and the possibility of drinking stale coffee, I’d say stop by-​at least to pick up some cookies for the road.
