My wife has been sick for 3 days after eating a foul wrap from this place. She saved half for me and after looking really close I noticed the lettuce went bad. Seeing how lettuce is a key ingredient to things at a deli I can’t see how they would be making the best food over there. Plus you think someone would see that while making a sandwich, I mean that’s their job and all they do they can’t even do that right.
We needed milk too for the house so my wife picked some up from here and I just opened it up to find it already gone bad. What is wrong with this place?! Someone is doing something wrong, maybe they are over at the beach instead of running the deli, after all it is called Captree. Nothing is gourmet about this place except for the bacteria and rotting food.

Wonderful deli. Family owned. The family could be a reality show. It makes my morning everyday. Food is excellent and fresh. Donna runs the show with her husband and boys. Most days I feel like I’m part of the show. I pass 2 delis and 3 bagel places to go there. It’s excellent. I recommend it highly. Biggest chicken cutlets you will ever see.

As much as I love the friendly staff, most who remember my first name and street address I have to STOP ordering from them due to price increases. They make great egg sandwiches and have EXELLENT muffins. However three egg sandwiches and two muffins should not cost me 27 bucks. They charge a delivery fee too which seems to becoming a trend for all delivery restaurants. For 27 bucks I could have bought two dozen eggs, a pound of bacon, a dozen rolls, a pound of cheese and made myself 12 egg sandwiches with money left over! Great staff, good food, but over priced!!!

I love this deli. Only been there 3 times and each time I got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it’s amazing. Really good cutlets taste homemade and they don’t skimp on the chicken. I wish I knew about this deli when I lived in the area, just happened to go there by chance when I was running late one day and needed to pick up lunch. Now I plan to go there whenever I’m in the area.

Great deli, awesome homemade potato/​mac/​slaw salads. Egg sandwiches are good too! They have a nice list of sandwich choices. Good size for the
price, plus all Boarshead cold cuts.

Awesome hungryman breakfast hero. Every time I visit, I order 4 to-​go, and bring them back to NorthCarolina in a cooler. Along with their buttered rolls.
Grabbed a Club sandwich with american on a roll, and it was divine! Loved it!
