This place is great for those healthy freaks like myself. Super cool menu but a bit overpriced. I’ve seen similar places with a more diverse menu and many more options. Staff is nice.

First time in Skynny Kitchen 10−20−15 after enjoyable day in Weho walking! Granted I wanted Pump but saving that swallow of fine experience to share with beau! Thus when I look back in years to come when our children are raised and in college, we can look back and say«Pump made a first date grand memory» For now I sit and enjoy a single moment reflecting in the fact this beau has started to capture my ! The orange protein shake just right and lovely flavored for protein shake! Thus one can say that soon with free will in honest acceptance and acknowledgement I take a full and true protein shake from beloved to enjoy as one! Scott was newer but good at asking a more experienced worker for help! Nice look and menu at Skynny Kitchen that is a good place for casual eats! Ah keeping counters especially bar counter is key! Soon I see the bathrooms and tables All key! More seating in balcony above and Kool bathrooms! Good job! Some minor fine tuning and good for what suppose be!

The food is what I would expect from a «high end» Applebee’s if there could be such a thing. I had the bison burger and it was the worst $ 11 burger I’ve ever had. The patty was a bit thin, but the problem was that it tasted like it was both cooked frozen and then reheated. Apparently I’m not the only one to think this as other reviews have pointed this out. The chili cheese baked fries tasted like they were a day old and reheated in a microwave. The bison burrito was also rather bland. The interior is pretty cool looking so I was really sad that the food was really terrible. I will not be coming back. I don’t particularly feel that the food was healthy or tasty. There are so many better options in the area, I don’t know why they thought that people in WeHo would not notice.

I had a great experience at Skynny Kitchen! I bought the groupon deal after reading good reviews and ended up being able to go there for dinner with my fiancé. The restaurant was not busy at all, there were only a couple of other groups of people during the time we were there. There was plenty of helpful and friendly staff members, so our order came out quickly and was delicious. I ordered the bison gyro and my fiancé had the bison burger on a lettuce wrap. We split the garlic kale. Everything was fresh, filling and healthy of course! Metered parking right outside the restaurant and on the nearby side streets.

I like the fact that Skynny Kitchen offers some decent options at reasonable calorie counts. That said, the size of portions is not huge, but burgers aside, the price is modest enough for that. Some of the tastes are a bit bland, but overall I was pleasantly surprised that the food was good enough to return. I enjoyed the gyro though it definitely could have been a bit bigger. The sliders were good too, but featured too much bread to meat ratio. I did enjoy the sautéed garlic kale, which, while heavy on the garlic, was pretty tasty and packed.

Found out tonight why they call it the Skynny Kitchen: Portions are small. Had the Bison Burger($ 11) – meat patty was small, the size you would get in a $ 4.00 Burger at the Habit. Taste – Just OK. Nothing about it would motivate me to come back for another one. Manager told me that the meat comes in ground fresh – Had to ask because it tasted frozen/heated. The Sweet Potatoes(3) were very good. Tried my partner’s Ground Turkey sandwich(9) –very good. It’s fine to dine here – it’s just not the best value, and the Bison Burger was uninspiring. Atmosphere – Very nice Service – Very good – You stand to order and they deliver to the table. After they deliver, they don’t return to ask if you need anything else or if everything is okay.

Hmmm, I would say this place fell a little flat for me. I love the concept, but the food just didn’t do it. I like building mine own and decided to ask for the most popular combination — not very good… I don’t even remember what it was, but I do remember it was bison and tons of kale in a pita. My boyfriends also was flat, but better than mine.

Skynny Kitchen is not value packed and did not appeal to me as trendy, healthy, or tasty. I came here with a friend because of a Groupon deal that he has. Without the Groupon deal, I cannot imagine ever coming here again. The main appeal is that«Everything you see on the menu is 500 calories & under. So Enjoy!» And the option is not limited to just salad… sounds interesting enough. But I wasn’t entirely sold. We got: –Grilled Bison Sirloin Steak Salad(apples, walnuts, Parmesan crisp & creamy apple cider vinaigrette) — Bison steak is gamey and probably will be a hit or miss depending on each individual’s preference. Aside from the meat, I thought the salad itself was just meh. –Smokey Bison BBQ Cheeseburger(¼ lb. Bison Burger topped with Caramelized Onions, Portobello Mushroom, Smoked Gouda & Balsamic BBQ Sauce) — unlike the salad’s bison meat, the bison patty was a lot more enjoyable and the caramelized onion makes the whole thing a juicy experience. I’m a big fan as portobello mushroom as well. –Grilled Chicken Club(Served on whole wheat toast with turkey bacon, low fat cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion & topped with blue cheese dressing) — this was probably the best value meal — the 2 pieces of club sandwich was actually fulfilling. Sides: –oven baked french fries — such small portion… even In & Out portion seems generous. –sweet potatoes rounds — oh how small are these slices… it was a little dry by the time we had then(we had it as to go). I think I rather save those couple bucks for a drink instead. Parking is a nightmare. Other than $ 5 valet, you just have to try your luck with meter parking… which is still at $ 1.50/hour, but you probably expected that from West Hollywood. The staff is friendly and very helpful. No complaints there. Maybe I’m missing the point. If calories is really such a big concern, Trader Joe’s or Pavilion’s offer nice pack of salad for half the price. Okay, just kidding. But there’s also Lemonade, Simply Salad, California Chicken Café, and even Souplantation that all offer wonderfully delicious low calories meal without emptying your wallet. I don’t see the appeal of Skynny Kitchen. Bison meat is not for me.

Stopped by here to check this place out as I’m always looking for healthy spots to dine. I ordered the turkey meatball sliders, Turkey sliders, caprese, and a cake pop. The sliders and cake pop(vanilla) were amazing, but I wish I’d been told that the caprese was kale and goat cheese on a tomato as I did not find it to be delicious nor what I was expecting. Menu is extensive and there are great options to build your own and I look forward to trying more of the items here. As far as parking we got lucky and found a meter right out front because of what time of the day it was, but unfortunately I know I’ll have to stop by here during times when I know parking is generally available on Santa Monica. Such a bummer when there aren’t lots for free parking but it’s common out here.

First off I have to commend the staff: Keith & Michael are so awesome! Super nice and informative. The menu is extensive, and filled with lots of healthy and delicious sounding sangwiches, wraps, salads, sides, smoothies, and whatnot that are all able to be customized to your liking. Service is quick and the food is plated beautifully! I was totally impressed by the quality and taste — I got the sweet potato sangwich and it was amazeballs. Highly recommend. The chili cheese potato wedges were rad too. My fella got the bison wrap and says it was tasty as well. The pickles are super yummy, and as much as I wanted to, I didn’t steal his for fear of later retribution. Nobody wants punishment for pickle thievery. Take note: they have gluten free beer here and it’s great! is this the healthy spin on «late night vittles»? You bet. But it’s every bit as tasty and you don’t have to hate yourself tomorrow… Unless you come here drunk(they’re open late, especially on weekends), so if you bring home someone you wish you hadn’t, that’s on you. The food will(at least) make it all worth it.

Delish cheese and chili fries, the turkey wrap was awesome. Clean and fresh. We ordered via Eat24 and it was outstanding. I will be coming back. Can’t wait to try their Noho spot too.

I stopped in today for a light supper and tried the Turkey Meatball bowl as well as the bison and turkey sliders. The turkey meatball bowl was quite good, although I found the portion to be quite small for the price. $ 12 and definitely not enough to fill a grown man. If you come early the evening, they have a happy hour special where you can buy one slider order full price and additional sliders are 99 cents per order. I think even with this deal, the sliders are really minimal. Two pieces of ciabatta bread with just a thin slab of meat and some sauce per slider. Two sliders per order. The place itself has plenty of seating including some on the second floor. The menu is big but basic.

Sometimes you just want something simple and healthy. Today I had just that at Skinny Kitchen West Hollywood. Bowl of Chilli and 2 sets of sliders. The chilli was spicy and the sliders were light and fresh. The services was friendly and helped me figure out what I wanted for my first visit. And the price was just right. My only complaint would be that annoying woman at the table in front of me who wouldn’t stop loud talking and asking the guy behind the counter questions from her table. This lack of manners seems to be trending in LA restaurants. Maybe get your food to go. It was exactly what I wanted. Not to heavy.

As far as health food at a reasonable price goes… This is the best option in this area of town! This place is tops! I think if word got out this place would have a line of fitness types and people looking to eat healthy out the door… Upstair there’s a lounge and TV, I will bringing the wife and kids this weekend. Same price as a raw juice or cup of bone broth and half the price of a Fresh Corn Grill or Tender Greens lunch… If you’re sick of the trendy or expensive healthy options in WeHo this is your cure! Had a Greek style chicken pita… 4 healthy stars, atmosphere and staff bring it up a notch to 5 stars.

Heard about Skynny Kitchen from two of my Zumba classmates who work there. Gotta love connections right? Said it was a cool spot with great healthy food so my friend and I decided to check it out after our Zumba workout. LOCATION&PARKING Located on Santa Monica Blvd. in the heart of West Hollywood. There’s no personal parking lot, but there is Valet parking nearby for $ 5. Metered street parking is also available. **TIP: Metered street parking is $ 1.50/hour with a 2 hour maximum so be prepared with either quarters or a credit/debit card! OR Carpool! AMBIANCE/SETTING Super casual and good for groups. Modern, cool décor in gray and lime green. Love the bright green glow of the«SK» logo featured along the walls. Plenty of seating areas outside, indoors, and upstairs in their lounge area. Restaurant and bathroom are kept very clean. Flat screen TVs were playing«Will & Grace» when we visited, bonus points for their good taste in shows! CUSTOMERSERVICE Service was quick and friendly and our food arrived at the same time. Brownie points for giving my friend a little extra broccoli upon his request. FOOD **TIP: Do the«Build Your Own» to create your own sandwich, burger, or wrap! You basically pick a Meat, a Style, and the Vessel it comes in. For you health conscious freaks, the number of calories is given for each food item. Bison Patty in Smokey BBQ style on a Whole Wheat Bun — A Bison burger with caramelized onions, sauteed portobello mushrooms, smoked gouda cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles topped with balsamic barbecue sauce. Was my first time trying Bison meat(the Leanest of all the Red meats btw!). Though it was different, it was good and I’d definitely have it again! — GETIT! Turkey Patty Pomodoro in a Whole Wheat Pita — Turkey meat with arugula, red onions, Parmesan and Manchego cheese topped with Pomodoro sauce in a wheat pita bread. Didn’t personally taste it, but Pomodoro style was my 2nd choice. — TRYIT! Strawberry Smoothie — Cool, strawberry flavorful, and delicious! — GETIT! **TIP: Happy Hour is every day between 3pm-6pm and 9pm-11pm! Buy one set of Sliders, and you can get a 2nd set of Sliders for only 99 Cents!!! Overall, I had a positive first impression of Skynny Kitchen cuz of their cool décor, great service, and delicious healthy food! So I’ll definitely come back to try more!

So excited that there is a healthy lunch spot nearby! My co-workers frequent this spot about twice a week. I’ve had the Turkey Meatball Wrap and it was the perfect size for lunch. Very flavorful! My co-workers have raved about the bison sliders, quinoa, and the garlic kale. Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu(which won’t be hard given the proximity to our office!). Minus a star because the steamed broccoli is literally just steamed broccoli(no seasoning or anything to flavor it). I took it home for leftovers and added lemon myself. I would try some of the other sides before this one. All in all, a great spot to grab a healthy lunch/dinner or snack. Will be back soon!

Just had the Southwest Chicken Breast sandwich. It was excellent. New to the WeHo scene this place is attractive, clean and a welcome addition to the many restaurant options along Santa Monica Blvd. All menu items are under 500 calories. Though it would compromise taste but it didn’t.

So here’s the Skynny… Kitchen. New spot that just opened up about a week ago. I’m guessing because it’s brand new that’s why the staff was overly joyed and extremely enthusiastic upon entry… «Hi! Welcome to Skynny Kitchen!» Alright bruh, definitely feelin’ the welcome. I can’t give an extensive review about the menu since I’ve only dined here once. But the initial experience was pretty damn bomb. Yes, bomb(a term that I believe died on the 90’s but whatever, that’s what it was). I like the fact that they serve breakfast here. They’ll pretty much serve breakfast all day if items are still available. I like that, definite plus! Now, as far as my dining experience I went with the«Build-A-Burger» and it was delightful. There are about four or five different protein choices and another five or six seasoning styles to follow. Including little add-on’s as well — everything from avocado to Turkey Bacon(sorry bacon lovers, that’s the only bacon they serve here) To all my dirty, raunchy-ratchet ass carnivores… This is a clean-type of establishment, ya dig? So no… * Pork * Beef or * Unnecessarily fatty greasy foods But it’s still got some substance, TRUST. Almost every item I saw coming out of the kitchen looked incredibly delicious. I saw these cheesy fries come out… Maaaaaaaaaan, I’m tryna tell you, I almost ruffed the waiter for ‘em. JACKMOVESON! But alas, I was able to contain myself. While waiting for my grub I noticed quite a few people walking in, order and then disappear… I kept wondering where did they go??? DUH! Turn around Yo! There’s an upstairs seating area. Upstairs was dooooooope! At the top of the steps there is a double pane window that opens up overlooking West Hollywood Park and allowing a cool breeze in while you enjoy the meal. I was also told by a staff member that they’re in the process of incorporating couches and sofas upstairs for a more homey-type feel(for all you caffeine addicts). This place is definitely on the upswing and since it’s close by work, you might catch me here a few times a week. Over. And out!
