the mani/​pedi was good but they were really pushy and tried to upsell several times after i told them i just wanted a normal mani/​pedi. i realized after that they still charged me more by only showing me a certain menu that didn’t have all of the (less expensive) services on it.

This is truly one of the best nail salons I’ve ever been to customer service is amazing their artwork is amazing Holly is truly a wonderful owner Julie’s artwork is absolutely amazing Keahn tell him exactly what you want and he delivers and I can’t forget to mention anna she’s very Highly in demand oh and a little secret you always see a celebrity in there thank you for the great work for all of my daughters and wife and myself you truly make us feel like celebrities keep up the good work and thanks. May sound dramatic but being unsatisfied or unpleased specially being a woman but in my case being surrounded with women could be frustrating so it’s great to know that there somewhere where they can go and get exactly what they want and leave better and looking better thanks

Service: The first time I came in there were 2 pretty unkempt and frazzled people working the front desk who basically threw a dirty «menu of services» at me after saying I’d have to make an appointment to come back. You’ll see the corner of it in a photo — it landed as I was taking another photo…
When I did come back (because I work next door and convenience is a real thing) the manicurist was nice and the manager came over to check on me and gave me a water, which was very nice.
Atmosphere: Nice enough. Nothing special, but I only had a manicure so I can’t speak to the pedicure chairs or that side of the room.
Quality: DO NOT get the «powdered» gel. It was a mess within 48 hours. They say it’s better and stronger and lasts 2 weeks «for only $ 5 more!» but go look at my pictures. Total waste of money.

The customer service is excellent! I walked in and was seated right away. They had a great selection of nail polish colors. It was very clean and the environment is very relaxing. The woman who did my nails did an excellent job they look perfect! I would definitely recommend this place and I will be going back again.

Found my nail shop!!! I went there to get a pedicure and I ended getting a gel set and I’m in love and looks natural. love the colors they have and love there service. I like how they ask you like the same and if you don’t they will fix it love this place. Yes it’s pricey but it’s worth it

I walked in after calling and was immediately taken care of. I received a great outcome from my $ 85 combined Mani Pedi …
The process was messy and served up by two people. One of which hardly spoke english.
Definitely was confused throughout my service but in the end, walked away happy.

Following the disastrous manicure experience my gels, even after all of that, they started to peel off only 3 days later. I went in and the staff were really wonderful and explained the girl who had done my nails so terribly a few days prior was new– they apologized and redid my manicure.

This place is by far the best nail place I have been to. I have always had a hard time keeping gel on my nails (for anytime longer then a week) and after going here my gel stays on my nails (chip free) for over 2 weeks! Annie is the best! I would recommend it to anyone!

Number one best acrylic nail treatment ever!!! I followed a review from someone who suggested to see Annie. She was amazing. Very sweet, fun to talk with, detail oriented and creative.
I was able to ask for specifics and she was happy to do exactly that and also give suggestions.

I wanted to get a pedicure and a full set of acrylics so Annie was happy to have me seated in the pedicure chair for the full treatment. ALSO, since I was sitting in the pedicure chair she would move from left hand over to the right-​hand side depending on which hand she worked on. Many manicurists make you reach across your body and contort your back which is very uncomfortable and not relaxing! This may be the number one reason for my new found love of this specific spa. They do it right!!!

I was contacted by the owner of this place since I had a horrible experience last time I was there and she apologized and offered me a complimentary gel manicure. I called to make my appointment and since I don’t do manicure I asked for a pedicure instead.
It was very nice of the owner to apologized and to take the time to write me an email and also offered me a complementary service. I have had 2 pedicures before the comlimentary service, using the remainder of my gift certificate and both times w/​the pedi I’ve had a pleasant time and they did a great job on my pedicure!
Today, receiving my complimentary pedi the lady that did my pedi was very friendly and I was treated like a princess! so far, I’ve had 3 pedicures done after my horrible experience the first time and I’ve had a very pleasant experience and service. I would go back to get pedicures done but when it comes to my nails, maybe someday, I will try getting my nails done here again!

I don’t even know where to start other than I’m extremely unhappy about my experience here.
I was next to this salon already at another appointment and wanted to save time so after much deliberating I decided to «risk it» and get a mani/​pedi where I have never been before.
The customer service of very nice ladies in this empty salon was overshadowed by a 90 minute gel manicure/​pedicure that were dones simultaneously… No I did not get any extras either… 90 minutes???
When the manicurist was putting lotion on my hands she didn’t tell me to take off my watch and just started slathering lotion all over my Movado watch… REALLY?!?
Now I feel somewhat bad for not leaving a tip but after I was charged $ 63 for a poor quality work and it taking soooo long — I had to leave!
Will NOT return here.

It’s usually a trade-​off for nail salons: either you get plush surroundings, neatly organized polishes and little perks like hot tea while you get pampered, or you get a good deal. Usually I opt for the good deal side of things, but when I’m in the mood to up the class factor a bit and am in the West Hollywood area, this place will definitely be my choice!
First of all, it’s a huge plus that the salon offers free parking, because it’s very very tough to find street parking here on Sunset. So I walked in already in a good mood because I didn’t have to pay a fortune for valet somewhere, and my mood was heightened even more when I saw the rows and rows of beautiful Essie and OPI colors for the choosing.
The technicians are super sweet as well, and they seem to take care in their work. If you’re wondering why my rave review doesn’t lead to five stars, it’s simply because I was surprised at the end of the session at the high prices. They’re not listed on the website so be sure to ask how much extras cost, like gel nails, or paraffin treatments. Those things can really add up! If you consider it a necessary indulgence, by all means go for it — but if you like the bare bones treatments like myself you may want to opt for a less opulent nail experience!

I’ve been getting my nails done here for years. The staff are friendly, efficient and do a fantastic job. They have free parking in the back, great massage chairs, TV’s and free drinks to indulge in while you’re getting pampered.
I don’t need to go anywhere else!

I wasn’t going to write a review but I had a mild infection I got from this salon that has gotten a hundred times worse!
So upset. I’m in horrible pain. I try to support businesses in my area but I’m disgusted. I have a major fungus infection that is from the salon. They also cut the inside of my nail bed. Careless. The management refunded my money but a week after (actually more than a week now) this infection should be gone. Really displeased.

Since the new owners took over the spa has gone completely down the drain. Cheap products, the original nail gals left… the receptionist cant be bothered with anything…
AND…we waiting 40 minutes for the salon to open… thank god… its a blessing because while we waited for the manager who was 30 minutes late to open… the girl came with her infected foot. She had to go to the hospital… it was nasty.
So again… the new owner cutting corners to make more profit. SAD… it was a great nail salon… I have been going since it opened 6 yrs ago… NEVER AGAIN.

— Best selection of GEL colors, my lady puts it on PERFECTLY, lasts 2 weeks plus until they grow out basically, they have a full fridge stocked of complimentary water and beverages and she always remembers I like two bottles of water and brings them out to the station before I even sit down. Free parking in the back (and its on Sunset so you know how that goes) and entertaining clientele, last time Richard Simmons was sitting next to me chatting it up about his childhood in New Orleans. This place rocks in every department.

Wahoo! A nail saloon in LA that I actually LIKE!
It is surprisingly hard to find a good nail salon in LA, considering they are located on every corner.
This one has all the things I really like:
Big comfy chairs
Free parking
Gel polish
ATM machine
Free drinks while I get my service
I am so happy I found them and I am quite surprised the ratings on Unilocal aren’t higher!

The only reason I go here sometimes is because it’s near my house. It’s $ 38 mani-​pedi, but they always try to sell you more. The polish is usually short-​lived (less than a week). And they do a poor job of callous removal unless you pay $ 10 more.
One time they had to paint my big toe 3 times and it was still streaky. Another time they forgot to top coat my fingers so I had to remind them. The color selection is mediocre, lots more black and neon than pinks and neutrals — but hey, it’s Sunset right? They’ll give you cheap wine if you ask., so that’s cool.
I know, I know,
. But if you’re going to spend the money it’s worthwhile to know.
