Thanks to Philip and Sussan for showing me the ropes on my way back to film and also Trevor a great guy to chat with @leicastorela. You guys are all pros and provide great service! Wish more stores were like you guys truthfully. Bryan N. Leica M-P and now M6.

One of the classiest galleries in any city. It does not hurt that they are global and feature one of the greatest cameras ever invented. Their galleries are spacious, well lighted and the one on Beverly is bi-leveled with a wonderful outdoor second story enclosed patio. Their receptions are First Class as is the quality of the photographers that they display. One of my favorites is Mr. Magmum himself Eli Wood. Stop in anytime. Try to get on their treasured mailing list and you will continue to enjoy their fantastic events and Fine Art. Chevalier Tony Clark

Went in to get a camera. I don’t know about others but Philip was such a nice guy. He not only scheduled a free session for us to get familiar with the camera but also gave us a lot of cool tips on accessories and photography in general. He was not stingy when it comes to letting us play with the lenses and the binoculars which was really cool.

Trevor is a great guy that will gladly show you whatever you could possibly want. He’ll answer any and all of your questions. I’d buy from him anytime. Philip, on the other hand is the definition of used car salesman. He has no business working at a place like this. I walked in with the intention of spending thousands of dollars on an M E and a lens. Philip treated me like i was going to steal the thing. He also was willing to walk away and answer everyone’s questions but mine. When I inquired about the«test drive», he snickered at me and said«you have to leave a deposit for the full price of the camera, so you probably won’t be doing that». Are you kidding me? He told me he was a fashion and celebrity photographer. I looked at his portfolio and couldn’t believe how amateur his work is. It’s as bad as his faux hawk circa 2004. So, this is a great store with beautiful equipment, but avoid Philip and spend your money and time with Trevor.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a galley event here for the Van Styles opening. The store was very cool and I loved the entire event. I am a canon guy and to be honest, I never heard of Leica. The place was packed and I didn’t get a chance to talk about the models on display or shoot with the demos. Parking sucks, so bring some change for the meters. I plan to come back and check out the cameras.

Such a beautiful space, surrounded by coffee shops, great books to peruse and an extremely relaxing quiet space upstairs. Plus the cameras, legendary. They host great photography exhibits. There’s also a fantastic upstairs outdoor patio where you can contemplate your next creation.

Beautiful place but inadequate parking, I headed to a event I have paid rather steeply to participate in, and was told the parking lot is full, unfortunately there were no spaces after two laps around the area. the thing is, the staff specifically told me to drive instead of taking a taxi, because they offered valet for the event. I would not feel as underwhelmed had the staff not told me there were parking available. Love cameras, but underwhelmed with the event management, then again, thats not exactly what Leica is known for.

Yes, they have all the nice cameras and lenses for you to play with, but the real draw is to find a little inspiration. They have a great(and I do mean great) selection of photobooks chosen by Martin Parr himself, an exhibition space, and a patio to hang out with other photographers. The sales staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their Leica Akademie workshops promise to be worthwhile. Since Leica is the Apple of the camera world, this is the place for photographers to gather and have fun.

This place is amazing. Super nice people. Just a great place to talk to people about photography and cameras. They have a photo gallery upstairs also. Took several pictures with their demo type M240 and Monochrome. they took the time to email them to me right there and then. Philip is my guy there now. Just a great place. James the Manager is also super friendly. The picture I posted is of me and Phillip C. chatting away.
