I had a pretty crazy get together in my nice, new, clean place, and two heavy traffic areas, say a totlal of 3×3 each, looked bad.
I called these people up cause they were near by and asked what it would cost for two small traffic areas, easy job, 1 hour max. The lady told me the minimum was $ 75 and said she could fit me in today!. Great.
The guy shows up and goes on and on about the different solutions and machines he could use and how some solutions cost more, he was really annoying me. I said ‘listen, this place is new. This dirt is from Saturday, and the areas are small. The lady on the phone told me it’s $ 75 min.’ He said he could do it for $ 75 but that he wouldn’t use solution and that in a couple weeks it would look bad again. So I said, then why would you guys advertise at $ 75 to clean my small areas. He went on and on about how every job he’s done that day was much more costly and made me look at his tickets… He told me I will only be satisfied if I paid $ 100 and he would spend $ 25 on solution which I think is complete bullshit, because how would ANYone do a job for $ 75 without using any solution…
ANYWAY after about 30 min of his crap I finally broke and said I would pay $ 90, for two small traffic areas of carpet, which I still think is stealing. He agreed.
In the end he tried to charge me 3% more for using a debit card which I absolutely refused.
Result? One carpet area looks good, the second one still has some Remanence or grunge.
Aweful experience, Think twice before using them
Also, I rarely write reviews on Unilocal,unless its Really Great or Really Aweful… and I was compelled to take this much time to write this one.
