These guys came recommended by a designer friend. Definitely have the most options for framing if you are looking for modern high end frames. They are not cheap but definitely appreciated the first time discount they provided. The framers definitely have their own opinions about how things should be framed which could be helpful if you are looking for advice. Usually takes 3 – 4 week turnaround.

We are leaving Los Angeles and can only hope that we find a comparable company in our future. We have had framing and restoration done here and everything has always been terrific. I am really not sure if it is «moderate» or «pricey» as we haven’t been anywhere else in years, so am erring on the side of $$$. Regardless, it is a great value. Everyone is pleasant and professional and Russ Roberts is simply the best at what he does — and charming as well. Framing can be very complicated and he makes it fun — not frustrating!

I cannot vouch for the work they actually do because after several detailed emails and a couple of phone calls, no one ever got back to me with an estimate. If a company cannot be bothered to return calls before they have your business, I question how I will be treated once I am a customer. After nearly 2 months of waiting, I went elsewhere. There are certainly plenty of other frame shops in Los Angeles.

I recently purchased a Murakami print and was looking for a top notch place to have it framed. James was extremely helpful and gave me all the recommendations and suggestions I needed to feel very comfortable that they were the best people for the job. He carefully unwrapped the piece and presented options and recommendations for the frame, mat, colors, glass, etc. The price he quoted was very reasonable and competitive with what I would expect for high quality workmanship.
The other thing you’ll notice when you walk into this place is that they have a TON of people’s work about. They are obviously highly trusted and regarded by people around town. They frame just about anything and everything, when I was in they had a record and even an original Jeff Koons.
