I’ve been looking for somebody in the neighborhood to cut my hair and read about Bethany here. I’m thrilled w my cut. I was ok w the previous cut but it wasn’t quite there. Bethany took it there! Very convenient location. Huge parking lot (Platt Village), reasonable pricing. Also their product isn’t ridiculously marked up. A total win for me

This salon is a little hidden treasure of the valley. I have been going to Beth for over 10 years now, and her haircuts and color are amazing. I have referred MANY people here, who become life customers. I love that Beth cuts my hair to my face «type»…I have never been disappointed. Fun atmosphere and friendly people are also a plus.

King and Company is a great little neighborhood salon. Friendly atmosphere and no pretense. I’ve been going to Bethany for years. I have thick frustrating hair but she tackles it every time I’m out of control. We’ve done many types of color over the years. She’s very good with color and we experiment sometimes. I have her cut my sons hair as well and he’s not the most patient. She can handle him.
It’s a great little spot.

I followed my stylist, Bethany, here from Floyd’s. Bethany is FANTASTIC. I used to hate getting haircuts and would never do anything interesting. Now I love going! Bethany does great cuts and is a real wizard with color. I usually tell her to just have fun with my color because she’s so much better at choosing something that will look good than I am. I always leave the salon feeling wonderful. I’m moving out of state soon and I really wish I could take Bethany with me.

There a few times in your life where you get real personal treatment. You can get that at King and Company hair styling. I felt like they cared about the customer. There’s cold water, cookies, coffee and very friendly people. I’d recommend it without hesitation. You can get any kind a haircut and get your nails done, a facial, waxing so it’s a full-​service salon.

Came here because I’m following Bethany from Floyds out in Encino. She gives a great cut. My wife goes to her for her color and cut, she always looks beautiful after. I highly recommend Bethany at this shop she knows what she’s doing.

Went to this busy salon for them to fix the color of my roots (i colored at home & my roots turned orange). One of the girls was very nice (Brittany, I think) and colored my roots for me. She then washed it out & put me under a old lady dryer. After sweating for 15 mins. she took me out and the orange was still there. She then tried again, mind you this is the 3^rd time coloring in a 2 hr. time period. Washed it out again, put me under the old lady dryer & after 1 minute, my head felt like it was on fire. I yelled for her to come. She got me out of the dryer & told me to go outside for my head to cool off. The 3^rd try did work on my roots though. That nite, my son was on my lap & running his hands through my hair & asked «what is on your head mommy?» I touched my scalp & there were burn scabs all over. I totally freaked out & thought all my hair was going to fall out. I immediately called the salon to ask what to put on my scalp & the owner said «if you want your money back you have to sign papers (so I won’t sue, I guess.) I cried to her & said I didn’t care about the fucking money, I just needed help!!! Didn’t get any!!! The next day we went on our vacation to the Caribbean & the whole week, I had to keep a hat on & was flaking all over my head. Those assholes never even called to see how I was. Wish I would’ve sued!

Blue Davies is the best curly hairstylist ever!!! I have kinky curly hair and I have gone to just about every salon the los angeles area that claims to specialize in curly hair. Blue is the only stylist to ever get it right. For the first time I am truly loving my curls. She knows what she is talking about. She is a curly girl herself and she knows how to cut and treat curly hair. And her price is unbelievably good!!! She is also excellent with color. I cannot recommend her enough. If you have curly hair, call Blue!
