The plus side: they have tons of TVs. The down side: the food was average and arrived lukewarm. Service was okay.

Here for the big game. Super Bowl… no volume on TVs. Cold wings. Never again at this location. Plainville maybe. Try somewhere else.

This location Slider’s has decent space – bar space as well as booths. TV’s at every angle and on every sport you can imagine. Service was lackluster because we did not order drinks right away. Service noticeably became cheerful after we ordered drinks later on. Ordered the mac & cheese wedges that tasted worse than 7/11’s Doritos loaded nacho cheese wedges. Hot and sweet(mild buffalo & honey bbq) wings tasted good. I had same good experience with Slider’s wings at Plainville location so if I had to come again, I’d get their wings only. My friend had Pastrami Reuben because that’s his go to. After he finished his meal and she came to clean it up, he told the server it was a bit too peppery(in hopes the server will tell the chef for future reference) and she replies with a ‘what?’ When a customer gives you feedback, you do not say ‘what?’ to your customer. But then again it’s Slider’s, so you cannot expect anything fancy.

Sliders is my go-to place when I need wings for a party. They package them up in aluminum tins and you can slip them right inside the oven or put them on the grill to stay warm. They give you wet-naps, and will even give you paper plates and napkins if you ask them. This location in West Hartford is huge and by far the best one for watching a big game. The other locations have become very family oriented versus sports-bar like. Bring some sliders wings to your next party and I guarantee you’ll be the most popular person there!

Visited today, a Sunday in November. Food was great but bartenders seemed over worked and on edge. They spoiled our plans for a relaxing afternoon. Don’t the best sports bars have quality personalities as bartenders? You can’t convert a former waitress to bartender and expect client satisfaction. I’m out. Too many good options nearby.

Extremely disappointed! I used to love coming here on Tuesdays to get the buy 6 get 6 free. However, they got rid of that deal and replaced it with all you can eat for $ 15. This is a complete rip-off. You only get 10 to start and then 4 thereafter but they take unreasonably long to come to your table so by the time you get them you don’t even want them. Our waitress was also incredibly rude saying, «you know you can’t share this». I don’t want the feeling I am going to get I. trouble when I am out to eat if I try a bit of my friends food. Also, the boneless wings we ordered were barely lukewarm when we received them. Finally, we waited for a good 20 + minutes to have our waters refilled and several waitresses l, even who I think was the manager walked right past us not in a hurry or anything and did not ask if we needed anything or could refill our waters. This was one of the worst dining experiences and I do not recommend if you want to have an enjoyable meal l.

It took our waitress 20 minutes from the time we sat down to when she greeted us. Everything took a very long time to come out(even drinks). Wanted a quick lunch but we ended up being there for over 3 hours. The food was good, just wish the service was better.

Waaaaaay better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Much fresher and crispier but same type of atmosphere.

Great place to watch a game. However, food is not good and service at the bar is mediocre. Now that Damon’s is closed, there’s just not another decent place to watch a lot of games.

We only live a ½ mile from this Slider’s — we usually go once a week for their happy hour. Their wings are great, the other food is decent and the service is always wonderful. The bartender, Jody, is our favorite, she is fantastic — she knows us by name and order — and always has a smile.

Casual sports bar… variety of wing sauces and menu options. Nice to see they have a Healthy choice menu too which included turkey burgers and veggie burgers on a pita. Tried the build your… Great selection of topping and sauces you can put on grilled chicken, beef burger, turkey burger. I got grilled chicken with sweet and spicy run, lettuce tomato, cherry peppers, avocado and pineapple. This can get a little expensive when you add a side(2.99 each). Overall pretty chill place, food was good. Love all the tvs and they have trivia on Wednesdays. We will be coming back for a team is night!

I love this place! Wide variety on tap, the staff is always accommodating, and you can’t beat the number of TV sets when you want to watch a game!

Solid place for wings in West Hartford. I didn’t know about this place until my friends decided to go here for a happy hour. It’s pretty inconspicuous in a strip mall between Stop & Shop and Dollar Tree. The food is solid. The wings were good and they had a really good selection of sauces. There were plenty of TVs around, so I imagine it would be a good place to go to to watch a good game. I also ordered the buffalo chicken dip from the happy hour menu and was impressed with the taste and the serving size. This place gets a three start from me. It’s solid, but it’s nothing so memorable that I would exert additional effort to go to Sliders.

An unexpected gem in a strip mall next to a Stop and Shop, sliders is a great place for simple pub food. The restaurant is full of televisions — almost as many as a Buffalo Wild Wings — so it’s great for sports. The wings are great. Good price, good crunch, good sauce. Happy hour deals are pretty good, and it’s a great way to try all the wig sauces. Other food is also great. I would recommend the chicken and waffles, which come with unexpected sauces.

1.) Just to warm you up: I heard about this place for awhile now and surprisingly I just tried it out. 2.) What your eyes may see: Or? Cannot see. On the outside it looks like an old strip club or cheap dance club with tinted glass. When inside, it looks like a Buffalo Wild Wings — spacious, wrap aroun bar, many tables and TVs galore. 3.) Beer: They have a pretty good tap list. They serve 22 ounce beers but not for the good stuff. Apparently there is a policy on high percentage beer in large glasses. 4.) Food: Ordered the mango habanero wings, and sampled my friend’s Parmesan wings. They were all tasty and mine seemed extra wet without even asking(I love extra wing sauce!). 5.) Staff: The bartenders were awesome — attentive and nice. 6.) Impressions: A place to have some wings and good beer. I don’t believe they compare to J Timothy’s in Plainville but they are good.

This place gets 4 stars for a few reasons. First, I’m comparing it to other similar places — wing joints with lots of TV, bar trivia, and a jukebox. That type of feel. Second, I’ve been going to Sliders since I was old enough to drink(let’s be honest, and a little before), when it was just the Sliders in Plainville, CT, and the extra seating in the back was not extra seating, but pool tables. Third, the wings are still good. I know a lot of people compare Sliders to Buffalo Wild Wings, but if you’re talking qualify of the wings, there’s no comparison – Sliders takes it. The rest of the food is about the same quality, but Sliders always used to be known as a wings place, not as a burger and fries place. I don’t love that they now market themselves as a family-friendly restaurant. Nothing against families, but this used to be the place(not this actual location, but the ones in Southington or Plainville, and then Wallingford) that groups of people would go after work to have a few pitchers of beer, play some trivia, throw some darts or shoot some pool, get a little silly, sing too loudly to the jukebox music, or watch a big game. Now you run the risk of stepping on small children late at night, and pitchers of beer are no longer available(travesty!). The menu has been changed, and there is less of a focus on the wings and more on the rest of the food. Recently, they did away with the curly fries. C’mon! But, when I have a wings craving, this is still the place I go. Their buffalo sauce is fantastic, no matter which level of heat you like. Even the Insane sauce has delicious flavor, not just heat. The flaming rasberry wings are fantastic and will always be my favorite after original buffalo, and the garlic parmesan are a nice treat once in a while. They’e managed to stay fairly consistent with wing quality, even with the management changes, new locations, and updated menus. As long as they do, I’ll continue to revere them for their wings(although I order to go much more often these days).

This is a glorified Buffalo Wild Wings with the exact same layout. You’ll find a lot of TVs with your fave sport on, a large bar area and less than average food. When we came here, we had about 3 – 4 different servers come to our table and I was so confused who was actually helping us. When we ordered, the server mentioned that we could order only one sauce per order. So that means if you get 12 wings, you can only have one sauce because the wings are hand tossed. Honestly, that is such a lame reason!!! You really should be able to get one wing sauce per 6 wings… maybe it would entice people to try new things here and come back. I ordered the flaming raspberry which were at the hot end of the spectrum and honestly, I was disappointed. The mango habanero at BWW’s is sooo much hotter than this and this one was supposed to be hotter than their version. I also tried the strawberry jalapeño which wasn’t too bad. The wings itself taste bland and almost as if they were boiled. The sauce doesn’t really cover up that taste very much. My only other complaint about the food was that it took forever to get 12 wings and the place was dead. I’m not sure this would be on my list of sports bars to go to but I’m sure I’ll be back since there aren’t many options around the area. I’ll probably eat before I come to this place and just order drinks from the bar.

Nice place. Spotted them unexpectedly while we were shopping around. A nice sports bar with a lot of TV screens. The flavors of wings available are so many and different as well. We ordered for the blueberry bourbon & garlic parmesan wings, O.M.G they were so juicy with so much of flavor. The waitress was humble and suggested options as well. We had to wait for the wings to be served, but it is called out in the menu that there will be a wait for 14 – 16 mins for the wings to be ready. We were fine with it. Overall a nice experience and we will definitely come back here.
