The sales help is as frosty cold as the fur storage! I went out of my way to patronize this fur business! I came to this store from LA while on my vacation in New England. I was interested in purchasing a fur vest and had spoken with Kevin(very friendly and gracious) over the phone. Based on that conversation we made it a point to put Zeller furs on our itinerary to purchase my fur vest. When my husband and I entered, we were the only customers in the store . It was the last week of July — not a busy fur buying season. The blonde woman behind the counter never looked up or acknowledged our presence! She was busy with paper work. I looked thru the racks, wandered all around to the back of the store and only as I made my way back towards the front did she finally look up and ask if i was looking for something. No ! I just want thru furs stores for the heck of it! I explained what i was looking for, and told her how I had checked their website a few times but they do not sell online I explained how I had spoken with Kevin, a member of this family business and she replied«Oh, him!, She then showed vests that I had already found on the rack myself and said that was all they had. I asked about when the new items would be coming in but she didn’t seem to know. Her husband the owner handles that I guess. Clearly I was an interested customer with money to spend. But, after encountering this woman’s cold and dismissive demeanor, I would never buy anything from someone who is too busy to acknowledge potential customers wandering thru their store and was not interested in showing their products to me. I be buying my fur on my trip to NYC in October. I know a great store around 57th and 5th!
