Mansion Bed & Breakfast

My fiancé and I just had the most wonderful, romantic time at The Mansion Bed and Breakfast! Steve and his wife were extremely accommodating. Steve greeted us at the door and gave us a nice tour of the mansion as soon as we arrived and had homemade cookies,(which were delicious), and tea! The pictures on the website do not give this place justice! It is gorgeous and very unique inside. There also is so much to do within walking distance! We throughly enjoyed each morning having homemade breakfast and lots of great conversation with Steve and the other guests who were staying there as well. If you are looking for a unique bed and breakfast, stay here! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Steve for a wonderful weekend getaway!

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house, lovely area, great host, terrific room, quiet and peaceful stay. Too many good things to mentuon… but definitely recommend and will come back.

A very interesting bed and breakfast. Being from the west coast, I wasn’t expecting a giant house quite like this. Filled with antiques, it’s a really quite extravagant inside and out. The owner Steve was very friendly, and prepared a great breakfast for us. Afterwards, he sat around and talked about the history of both the house and the city of Dundee. The bed was comfortable, and we were in the biggest suite, so we had a HUGE tub in our room. It definitely is a place to consider if you’re traveling through this part of the country!

A few firsts of 2008…
Chicago, Thanksgiving in the snow, and a first at a bed and breakfast. 2 years later I still reminisce. I regret forgetting the owner’s name but he really was the most pleasant and hospitable person. My favorite part of the mansion was a quiet comfy library nook that had a hanging decorative wreath made of artfully interwoven branches and lights. It spread across the ceiling and added warmth to their hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to board here once more.
