Terrible food. We tried three different times, because of location and near by choices. Won’t be going back.

I’m sorry to say this was a bust for the second time for me and my husband. Because our St Patrick’s Day idea was a bust. We wanted to stick to somewhere Irish. Wish we would have went to the Octopus’s Garden. For medical reasons I shouldn’t eat corned beef. So I ordered a turkey platter. My husband want Stella Artois beer. Our server said she didn’t think they had it so he ordered Blue Moon. Well low and behold they did have that beer I found it on the menu. He had the corned beef Rueben. I ordered Pinot Grigio. Got Zinfandel. Waitress took it back. Now the meal comes. Again it’s some fake turkey. I’m not ordering Turkey out again. I’m sticking to vegetarian fare. I believe Price was quite high. Could have had a healthy meal if we went to the restaurant I mentioned. I was a little concerned because of the review about the rat on the kitchen floor. But my husband said maybe it was a disgruntled employee that wrote the review. Well I’m not going back for dinner. That’s for sure. The shore in my area. Needs good restaurants please. We only have a few to choose from here. One good note. Even though our waitress kept making mistakes. She was very pleasant and had excellent manners. If she learns the menu. She will be a very good waitress.

Great food and service. Everything I have ordered there has been well-​prepared. Constantly revolving drink specials, and menu specials. The best BLT ever at the bar or table. (I can’t even begin to think of the amount of bacon that is served on it)
Carefully attended tables, VERY competent servers and excellent service. They do parties, catering, delivery, etc. Everything. They offer an email discount mailer/​email every month. Great weeknight specials and kids eat free days. Large main room and a couple of private rooms for parties. They deliver, have great pizza, and other items.
I always order one of the specials, never disappointed. Cathy always orders the chicken sandwich, always perfectly cooked and moist and flavorful. I can’t even begin to critique my food because I have eaten most of the menu. Never a lousy choice. Well, the prime rib was really great, as you would expect from a place that does it well.
We have had many family parties there because they also have an arcade, mini-​golf, rides, cool cars, and a driving range. This is almost a destination joint for a great afternoon of fun and great food.
Great place for a party or any family event.
Chris is the owner and he visits every table to make sure you are happy. That matters. Well, it does to me. It’s just great to not have to drive really far to get a great dining experience.

Interesting place. We went late and ate in dining room on a weekday so it was quiet, though we were advised it gets crazy during the summer on Monday and Wednesday kids eat for $ 1.
Food was pretty good. I’d say your average diner quality.
Broiled crab cakes were above average!

Friendly place. I had fish and chips. Fish was frozen not made fresh which was surprising, but still good. Place is a burger amd sandwich place. Service is good but bar can be loud. Always busy.

OK — Time to update my last review. Went for dinner again and my wife tried the Prime Rib again after some hesitation. I will have to say this time it was much better. Cooked very well and flavorful. Will have to give it another shot and see for myself. I bumped up to 4 stars.

Used to have a great breakfast buffet on Sundays. Wish they’d bring it back.

I haven’t are here in years but I herd there is moldy chicken n rats on the floor in the kitchen n the they pay off the food inspector .herd from an inside source. we’ll see after I eat here if I die

This is slowly becoming my favorite bar, I’ve only been to the restaurant side a few times. The bar has a lot of different drinks, the bartenders are always friendly and the drinks aren’t too expensive. I like that they always seem to have live music on the weekends. I have always had a good time when I go here, it’s usually a pretty good mix of people of all ages.

Catering service is kinda sketchy… very disorganized! Had to almost beg for drinks! Why bother taking orders if you are going to walk around the room yelling out «who ordered prime rib?» All in all though the staff was friendly and the food was good!

I went there with my extended family of 16. The dinner was fine but the waiter kept on forgetting things and did not bring the food out all at the same time. Also my son’s steak was bleeding and my wive’s ice tea tasted funny. After Dinner we headed outside for some go carting and to go to the arcade. All the kids went on the go carts, but two of the kids including my daughters car did not work, she had to walk off the track because the car did not move after about 2 laps. But they gave us a free ride for the two kids. But even the second time her car started and stopped every 5 seconds and after about a half of the lap the car would not move, so she walked off the track again while all the other racers were zipping around. Then they set her up with a new car during the same round but it was a two Seattle and very slow she probably got at most 4 laps to the other people’s 7 – 10 laps. The whole experience of the go carting was a shame. But after we went to the arcade and my daughter was stilling crying from the embarrassment of riding with no friends and having to walk off the track 2 times. Then she got herself together and bought 5 dollars worth of tokens and had spent more than half of her tokens on the basketball game machine, when she realized it was not counting the balls correctly so she was getting less tickets each round. We told one of the employees there but they only fixed the machine and would not even give us a single token or any tickets. After that my daughter and I felt very cheated so I went up the the toy counter to complain and write down a phone number to call the management. But as I was standing up there the employees started laughing at me for being mad about a few tickets, but a whole days worth of people not getting a few tickets more each round adds up to a lot of tickets. We talked to the manager of the amusement park but he would not give us a refund and would only give us vouchers for free go cart rides but by that time in the night everyone was ready to go home and we do not live near Calloways. We will probably never go to Calloways again because of the horrible service.

went there with my family (4 all together) we just had soda 2 apps 2 burgers 1 chic parm dinner and 1 chicken wrap $ 95.00 !! we wont be going there again soon plus the rides are for little kids not adults

I have gone here a couple of times, I wanted to give this place a chance I really did before I made my review. Every dish that I had tasted horrible and had no flavor. One time that we ended up going here we sat at the bar; the bartenders are super slow and very rude. I would suggest anyone to go somewhere else.

The food here is great and eating in the restaurant is awesome because the service is really good. Sometimes the delivery orders are completely correct but it’s hit or miss because the delivery services are new. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Calloway’s is a place I frequent. The food is always good and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The menu is extensive and very reasonable. In the warmer months, Calloway’s is the perfect family destination with an amusement park out back that the kids just love.

Awesome space. Huge!.. Nice bar. Has mini-​amusement park for the kids in summer. Staff is friendly but food is generally sub par. Their thin crust pizza is decent though. Prices are very good. Benefits from a good location and lack of decent competition .
Problem here is the all-​too-​common mistake that bars and restaurants often make–
They are trying to be something to everybody rather than EVERTHING to SOMEBODY !!

I’ve always been a long time fan of Calloway’s. It is a great place to get a meal if you’ve worked a little late and don’t feel like cooking. On the other hand it is also a nice place to sit, watch the game and scarf a pizza and some brews. Extensive tap list and great bar pies. Sandwiches, such as the Red Baron or the Adult Steak Sandwich are pretty tasty. Great to bring the kids as there is an amusement park (small) and go cart track along with a miniature golf course. Nice place, good food and cold drinks earn this place 4 stars in my book. Oh if you register on the Internet not only do you get periodic specials and coupons but you get a $ 10.00 voucher.

I went in for some playoff football (J-​E-​T-​S) and a few brews. We were told on our arrival that Coors Light and Coors Original (The Banquet beer-​SCORE!) were on special. Special was indeed special– $ 1.75 a pint. I’ll take that any day, all day.
After a few «specials» it was time to eat. We had a nacho plate, with cheese, chili, salsa, sour cream and guac. The nachos were very good, canned ingredients, but when beers are less then $ 2 who cares?
I had the blue cheese and bacon burger for myself. This was very good. The burger was fantastic, blue cheese was nice and tangy, bacon was crispy.
All in all a great place to grab a bite and check out the game.
