I love this place! This is one of the best Italian restaurant I tried. The service is friendly and the inside décor makes you feel like you’re in Italy. They have the best pizza and pasta ever!!! I always order for pick up and they have the order ready and still hot when I go pick it up.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, wine list was uninspired, coffee service was thin and cool, house made pasta was rich and toothsome, the Bolognese was thin, and weakly flavored, tiramisu was b+ or better with house made marscapone, they need a sign pointing to the restroom

It was just OK. Ordered the meat trio, steak, chicken, lamb and sauage. Chicken and sausage was over cooked and dry. Steak was chewy and bland. Lamb was good. Also ordered the gnocchi scampi. It was OK, vodka sauce was as good as store bought quality. The calamari was good. Bottle of wine was a bit sour, ordered a Sangiovese, which I normally love. I was told by the owner that it was a «typical» dry Italian wine. I’ve drank my way through Italy, this wine was not typical. It was mediocre, and considering this is an «Italian» place I would think their Italian wine would be up to par. Overall, it was OK, not worth the price though.

Cute authentic Italian restaurant in West Covina. Went for lunch with a co-worker. The owner is always there overseeing things which makes for a great ambiance. I had penne pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken. Not exactly on the menu but they are very flexible to create the dish you want. Food was delicious. Definitely would go again.

Exquisite Italian food. The pricey menu is worth it because you get well-prepared quality ingredients. Service is also very personable. This is fine dining or cozy lunch experience. For the sophisticated wannabe, you can also try their«wine dinners” — special hors d’oeuvres with wine tasting. You have to call them for scheduling. They offer fine chefs from out of town who will have their samples as hors d’oeuvres. For my first meal, I tried the Spaghetti al Vongole e Botarga, which is spaghetti noodles with fresh clams, cherry tomatoes, garlic, white wine, and shaved fish roe($ 12.95). Mama Mia! It was delicious! They provide freshly baked bread with hummus. If you know what you want, they can make it for you on the fly. Highly recommend. For special occasions, dates, group meetings, or to just try something new. We dressed casual for lunch.

Wish We Lived Closer! We were on our way home from LA, saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to get off fwy and try it. WOW! Couldn’t believe how great the food was! We have been to Italy a couple times, this rivals a few restaurant there! Chef Jesus Gutierrez lived in Italy and trained there… he’s very creative! We met Kathy the owner, super friendly! She walks around and checks on the tables to make sure you are happy! Our waiter Alfred was also outstanding! He recommended his favorite appetizer and entrée. We had the calamari, it was outstanding. My husband had the scallops special and loved it! I had the Tagliolini Rossi pasta… amazing! We normally skip dessert, but Alfred suggested we try their homemade Tiramisu, just like we had in Italy. Wish I had pictures! I would be in trouble if they were closer to Orange County! Lucky people of West Covina… We will be back!

I was here with a friend on Tuesday of this week. First we began with glasses of a delicious Rosé wine. I started off the food with the Insalata di Arugula. So very fresh. My entrée was Gnocchi Scampi, in a delicious pink vodka cream sauce. I had never had Gnocchi before, and this was a great introduction. My friend had the Insalata di Cesare and the Linguini Scoglio, and was as impressed as I was. He had been there before with family. The owner, Kathy, came around to chat a bit and make sure all was well. Indeed, all was well! Readers, I’ll be up front and admit I’m not a food or wine expert. I don’t know much about either subject, other than what I like or not. I recommend Vincenzo’s highly. Remember, it’s not fast food, so you will likely have a wait.

My lovely coworkers treated me to lunch here yesterday for my birthday. There are in the same plaza as the 85 degree bakery on the east side of Citrus Street and south of the 10 freeway. My coworker made a reservation for a party of 10. The owners were on-site when we were there. Their lunch menu is served from 11:30AM-3:00PM and Dinner starts at 5:00PM. The prices for lunch entrees are around the $ 10 – 15 range. The bread they bring out is hot and fluffy and instead of butter, they give you a «hummus» like spread. Wow, so delicious. Our server was Anthony and he had a helper that was constantly refilling our ice teas and water. Most of our group ordered a salad or a pasta dish. I was debating betweeh the Spaghetti al Vongole e Botarga(Spaghetti with clams) or the Fettucine alla Bolognese(Homemade pasta with Bolognese meat sauce), but ended up getting the Fettucine alla Bolognese. I love the texture of homemade pasta. It has to have that slight«chew». The Insalta di Mela looked really good and my coworker had me taste some of hers. It consists of Fuji apple with arugula, endive, candied walnuts and topped with goat cheese and balsamic dressing. You can add chicken or shrimp for an added cost. The Insalata di Mare also looked amazing!(baby mixed greens with clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp with lemon extra virgin olive oil dressing) Tagliolini Rossie con Ragu di Pollo alla Marsala was homade REDBEET linguine with a chicken Marsala ragu on a bed of Parmesan fondue. The Trenette al Pesto(homemade linguine pasta with fresh basil pesto sauce) was also a nice portion. One of my coworkers bought me a cake from a bakery and the owner was kind enough to bring it out for us, light the candles and also serve pieces of cake to everyone. This is why I love family-owned restaurants! Overall, the sauces aren’t overly salty and the food did not take too long to come out. I will have to come back with my husband soon. I know he would love the spaghetti with clams! 44⁄100 Reviews for 2016

We hopped off the freeway to get a quick snack and we were blown out of the water by what we found. The meat ball appetizer was moist and firm with a great sauce. We had the special fish, the gnocchi and the lasagna. Each was as good or better than a top LA restaurant. Way to go!

I had dinner with a friend(her birthday) at Vincenzo’s this past Thursday. It was a cool and rainy night, very romantic. Let’s cut to the chase, I had the best plate of pasta that I’ve ever had in my entire life! It was a special for that evening, a short rib meat sauce over homemade pasta. The texture and taste of the pasta and was unlike anything I’ve experienced before, I devoured the entire dish even after having bread and an appetizer. Finished with a heavenly light & creamy Tiramisu with coffee. I highly recommend you experience this wonderful restaurant.

I wish I could rate more stars on this restaurant –like the other people who had been here and gave this establishment 5 stars — but I can’t. I would just like to give an honest review based on our experience. 1. Easy to make a reservation. It only took me less than a few hours to make a reservation for about 15 people the same day., which eventually totaled to 19. That was nice! 2. This place was approved by a niece who’s been here before so it was a no brainier that we really should try it! 3. Place was nice and clean, small but just right. However– the size might not accommodate anymore bigger parties if there will be more parties celebrating at the same time — unless of course yours is less than 19 people. 3. Some people in our party came in earlier and complained how unfriendly the host was to them. She was more accommodating to the other ones and seem kind of aloof to us. I kinda felt that too the moment I got there! 4. It was a busy night and there were several people celebrating their birthdays — so maybe it was overwhelming to the waiters and servers — it ended up that the service was TOOSLOW! I asked for my water several times and never got a refill even after we left. 5. Our food took a long time to arrive! We were very understanding of the situation since we realized how big our party was BUT I don’t think that’s an excuse. Some of the people in our group were kind enough to really appreciate and commend the owner but honestly. We could have been given a better service. 6. The FIOOD: some of us liked it, some just think it’s okay –linguini scolglio, Penne rustica, petto di pollo al carcio, rack of lamb, to name a few. The portions are smaller but they’re tasty and that’s not too bad. The bread? Nasty. I hope they would consider changing that in the near future. Also, they didn’t have calamari which was disappointing. 7. SERVICE: as I said it was a busy night but they should have been prepared knowing that there’s a party of 15 coming that night, aside from the others who came later. It took a long time to serve us. As I said again — I was never given a refill of water. I guess because water is free– there’s no need to check if we needed refills. My brother-in-law’s meatball appetizer order never came and the pizza order came when almost everybody wants to leave! 8. However, the owner was nice enough to accommodate serving of the birthday cake. I thank her for that! I don’t want to feel that I was disappointed to have celebrated an important gathering in this place. It wasn’t the worst nor the best I’ve experienced. From the reviews that I’ve read I guess I expected highly of this restaurant! This is the first time that I kinda disagree with a 4 star rate. I may come back again and some of my nice relatives even told the owner they would(because that’s what they are: NICE) and I might give it another try. Maybe just go with a smaller party but not very soon. It might take time. This is just from my honest point of view — you, otherwise — might have a totally different experience !

This place is awesome. The best italian restaurant around with a great wine selection. If you like fine italian cuisine at a reasonable price and good wines, this is the place! The owner Kathy is very wlecoming and the chef is just outstaounding. I’m surprised not many people know about this place. The pasta is made fresh and the sauces are just incredible. I have not been disappointed with any dish that I had. The Margherita pizza was perfectly cooked and the Brasato al Barolo is a must have. Desserts were equally as good as the main courses and this is a place that you have to try!

What a find in West Covina! Plain and simple here from me. The interior décor is open with lots of tables, most of them smartly set behind a separation barrier where the check-in podium is. Nicely designed décor with Italianate murals and colors. Good wine selection. The owner, Kathleen, made it a point to visit with each and every table of diners. She was very engaging and pleasant to talk with. Everyone seemed to be having a good time here. The food was excellent, in my opinion. And, service timing was just right too. Not hovering over your table, and not a disappearing act either. All around, well done.

A safer alternative to a very questionable hot pot disaster, I decided to try Vincenzo’s because a friend of mine wrote a great review. I asked the waiter what his top recommendations were and he suggested the braised rib, beef ravioli, and uni pasta. I would say these dishes were good. Not amazing, but definitely not bad. The star of the night was definitely the beef ravioli. I thought the seared scallops with truffle would have been the highlight of the night, but alas, it was not. This is a nice restaurant. Definitely worth a try. It can get pricey if you’re going to order a few dishes, but worth knowing what type of talent is in the east San Gabriel Valley.

Petto di Pollo al Carciofi — pretty good, had the chicken dish and it was nice tender and moist with the sauce. The artichokes were a good sour compliment(I like sour). The potatoes were good as well. The grilled calimari appetizer was tasty, composed of the smaller squid type. Fresh bread was good and fluffy, but would have been nice with some olive oil and vinegar.

When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner, Kathy. Friendly and very pleasant. Our server Alfred offered their special of the day in the menu and gave very good descriptions of it. Tip… It’s good to know when a server is in tune with the chef! Food is delicious(recommend the jumbo scallop for appetizer), they make their own desserts, very clean, great ambience, family dining and take reservation.

Came here one evening, not too late, there was only one party of about 7 eating in. Ordered some pasta and a pizza, and waited patiently. Complimentary bruschetta was very scrumptious! Alfredo sauce was too thin, and the pasta itself was too thick. The pizza was very greasy, but the salami was pretty dang impressive. Prices were definitely on the high side, and I wasn’t pleased with the quality of food. Unfortunately, the female server/hostess went out to the patio right in front and took a smoke break with some local loiterers. Loud talking and laughing loud enough to hear from inside, it was unpleasant and offensive to our experience.
