***AVOIDTHISBARBERSHOP*** Went to get a haircut as a walk in. Three barbers were on staff, none of them had customers, nor were there any other customers in the shop. One barber stated he had an appointment arriving soon. Another seemed completely indifferent whether I was assisted or not. The third barber(a 70 year-old woman with a unfriendly and nasty disposition) asked what kind of haircut I wanted, to which I said a «high and tight»(can’t get much simpler than those). The elderly female barber, with a look on her face of being egregiously inconvenienced by me, sternly said«I don’t do those!» None of the other barbers seemed alarmed by her unprofessional attitude towards me, nor did they apologize for her lack of courtesy. In complete disbelief of the situation that just transpired, I said nothing and walked out of the shop. I cannot see how this business has lasted for so many years. Definitely my first and last time going there. ***AVOIDTHISBARBERSHOP***

The barbers didn’t seem interested in cutting hair except for Val. They’d rather read newspapers in their chairs. Additionally, they have continuously raised their prices and it’s no longer worth it. They have raised the price of a haircut two dollars within the last couple of months to now 17 dollars for a basic haircut. You might as well go to a salon for this price.

I took my friend here to get a last-minute haircut as a walk-in. This barber shop has an old timey feel to it. The people are really friendly and there’s a TV you can watch. My friend really liked his haircut afterward. The barber took his time and we could both tell that he was really meticulous. The haircut came out to $ 16. My friend said it was worth it and much better than a lot of cuts he’s had in the past. Direct quote: «This is probably the best haircut I’ve had in a very long time.»
