Aiken, SC
Not bad for a cheap hotel with a free airport shuttle ($ 55.40 including all the tax/​etc. for a night with AAA rate). Shuttle is iffy, but they paid for a cab back from the airport since they didn’t have a driver available. Nice bar with decent bar food. You can leave your car for a week and avoid paying airport parking fees, but let them know and ask where to park.
