The Creamery

It’s upgrade from the Cold Stone everywhere with less price. Their ice creams taste fresh and not overly sweet. I know that because I don’t crave much water after eating the ice cream. The tastes are somewhat limited and there is no surprise. You probably won’t have adventure of taste here, but fewer choices mean better taste and dedication. The staff is always friendly. And they always keep their station, counter, and machines clean. I will take The Creamery any day over other franchises.

This place beats Cold Stone hands down! Great ice cream!

It’s hard to curb my sugar tooth when awesome places like On the Slab exist.
This awesome local shop is fully part of the current «mix and match» ice cream style, something I enjoy.
I was up there with other Unilocalers for a movie and it was the perfect pre-​movie treat after dinner.
It would be great to put something more expansive in here for the review but I can’t say much more than OTSC has quality ice cream, a great selection and friendly staff.
If you have the opportunity, go throw them some cash; they’ll give you delicious ice cream in return.
It’s a win for America.

A locally owned Coldstone-​type ice cream parlor? Yes, I think I like this place.
We were seeing a movie at the Rave right next door and had some time to kill before the showing, so we walked over to the Creamyer. We were greeted by friendly smiles and a very tiny, cute shop with it’s items well laid out on different color pastel boards on the back wall and cases of ice cream in front. I love a well laid out ice cream store that make it easy to figure out what you wanted to eat.
For those unaware of the Coldstone method, you pick an ice cream and then toppings (if you want one), but instead of them just putting them on top, they lay it all out on a clean, giant stone and then expertly mix them together, so your topping is evenly spread throughout the ice cream and included in every bite. It’s actually kind of genius and I love spots that do it.
We tried a bunch of different flavors and they were happy to give us sample after sample with the little plastic spoons.
I got my normal single scoop of sweet cream and sprinkles, which they then mixed into the ice cream like any other mix-​in. No giant bite of sprinkles on top and then no sprinkles for the rest of the ice cream here. Loved that.
A single scoop with mix-​in is about $ 3.50. A little expensive but not overly so and it was the perfect addition to a summer evening. I would be back no problem.
NOTE: We then took this ice cream back to the Rave and walked in with it, seeing if they’d kick us out and make it eat it outside. They did not and we happily ate our ice cream with the movie. Not sure if this is an everyday type thing, but worth trying again for sure!

Easily one of our favorite places to satisfy a sweet tooth. On The Slab is always clean, friendly, fast and the ice cream is great. The staff always has great suggestions whenever we have a hard time deciding from the many choices of ice cream, toppings, mixers and cones.
