Sprout Music Collective

We attended a friend’s band event at the Sprout last week. It was among the most enjoyable musical outings I have experienced. The $ 5.00 cover includes a 1 Year Membership! Incredible selection of beer and wine; terrific menu of exotic adult mixed drinks, and incredible sound. If you enjoy live music, I give the Sprout my highest recommendation.

What a great place. A nice change from your typical West Chester place (not that a typical WC place is a bad thing). Great beers and a cool scene. Owner is engaged and involved — which is refreshing.

As a musician, this place is a total treat to play at. Attentive audience, great sound guy, friendly staff, comfy stage, and lighting that makes your photos look good. ;-)
As a patron, it’s a total treat to hang out at. Comfy seats in 1000 configurations (high-​tops, short tables, slightly quieter wall-​facing seating in the back), GREAT food, fabulous bar staff, and always terrific music. Convenient and cheap parking directly across the alley so lugging your gear (or your lazy ass) is easy.

Sprout is definitely my favorite spot in West Chester. The food is beyond amazing, and there is always something new and delicious to try on the menu. The bartenders are awesome, and the super friendly. West Chester had been long over due for a quality bar and music venue, and this is definitely it.

The best restaurant in town (Roots) opened the best music venue and cocktail joint in town! This place offers a totally unique option for the area with its craft cocktails, homemade infusions, and speakeasy atmosphere. Sprout has also filled the void left by the Note’s departure and provides West Chester with a great venue for live music with fantastic sound (a nice change from previous options), a great dance floor, and a wide variety of musical genres (rock, folk, reggae, house music, etc) and acts — from local heavyweights like WaveRadio, Flux Capactior, and Steppin Razor, nationally known acts like Mason Porter, Vita and the Woolf, and Sean Hoots, and even the occasional performance by legends like David Grier (unreal show). Lastly, the ownership, management, and regular crowd couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. You’re likely to see the owner working in the kitchen or even the entrance on any night of the week — a rare sight at most other establishments.

Finally! A REAL music venue in West Chester! The band’s I’ve seen were all excellent. Love the food, delicious just like Sprouts sister company, Roots. Very welcoming, friendly and comfortable. It’s hard to find the entrance, which is off the alley. The building is directly behind Roots Café. West Chester’s lucky to have this gem!

I’ve been going to Sprout since it opened. From the stage all the way to the bathroom sinks, everything about this place is worth the visit. Always a dollar well spent here and, more importantly, always time well spent. If you want to have fun and enjoy live music, craft cocktails (the best in town), and great food, this is the place for you. Check it out!

Love this place! It’s great place to enjoy live music, and they have an awesome drink menu. The food is great too!
They bring in all different types of great local music and it’s a perfect size to enjoy the music while having fun socializing with your friends. I especially like the signature cocktails and infused liquids which you can’t find elsewhere. Don’t be fooled that it’s just a bar with music though… the food is amazing and not your typical bar menu! It’s the same owners as Roots Café (next door) so it’s the same great quality.
I would highly recommend checking this place out. I’ve even had them host a private party during the week and I definitely plan to use them again.
