Smoked Tex Mex

I ordered a carnitas burrito with voodoo sauce.
You cannot beat the Thursday lunch special. Burrito or sandwich with a side of chips and salsa for $ 6.00. The burritos are long and fat. Juicy, smoky and pure deliciousness.
Orders are fast, and the staff are friendly & funny.
Walk in, go to the counter and order. They’ll call your name when it’s ready. Straight forward and clean eatery.

I got take out here about two weeks ago. I was not too impressed. I got the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese as my side. The pulled pork had hardly any barbeque sauce on it so it was a little bland. The Mac and cheese I actually saw them heating it up in the microwave. Once I tried it I maybe had about two bites.

I walked in and seen a person with a buddies burger tee on a young lady who seem like she didn’t even work there behind the counter and seem to know know nothing about the menu and I looked around I seen no smoker but what I did see was a microwave and that raised a red flag for me so I walked out without ordering

Absolutely everything I have tried on this menu is AMAZING! I now frequent the place at least a few times a month. Love the chicken tacos with chipotle mayo, the pork tacos with mango salsa, and the beef brisket sandwich (just to name a few). The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly. Give it a try!

Great burritos, REALLY good fries, awesome sauces, friendly dudes. Really great customer service — we left with two free extra burritos after a minor mix-​up. Genuine people and really good grilled meat. We’ll be stopping back.

The smoked briskit is amazing. I’d run thru a wall for it. I usually get it in the tacos with a side of voodoo BBQ sauce. Bangin!!!

My husband and I went here for lunch last Saturday. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were out of some major menu components, large tortillas and salsa, which seems strange.
Anyway, I ordered the steak BBQ sandwich with a side of mac-​n-​cheese. The BBQ sandwich was excellent. Portion was very generous. There is a slice of cheese on the BBQ sandwiches which is a throw-​away. It neither added not detracted from the sandwich, but rather disappeared in the BBQ sauce. The Mac-​n-​cheese side was dreadful. Tasteless, cheese less, dry and bland. (If the owner is reading this I suggest you look up the mac recipe by «The Pioneer Woman» online and test it out. I really mean that).
My husband ordered the pulled pork tacos. He said they were very good. The chips on the side were overcooked, but okay.
Overall we will definitely try this place again. The sides really need work, but what is smoked is tasty and smoked well and the service is excellent.
