Obvi

this little boutique is wonderful for the preppy shopper — i have only been to the location in conshohocken, but it’s been a great addition to the community. they have a good selection of cute clothes and they manage their social media pages (facebook and instagram) well so they keep their followers in the loop about sales and promotions.
i have come in here to buy gifts for friends’ and relatives’ birthdays, and i ended up buying all of my gifts for my boyfriend’s female family members at their holiday sale at christmas time. i have been into the shop when they have a great selection of mud pie gifts, but that’s been a little hit or miss.
i have purchased a few dresses, scarves, and a personalized lunchbox for myself at obvi and have gotten a lot of compliments on everything.
one negative is that the clothing sizes (with dresses in particular) are a little weird, but i believe that this is more a reflection on the brands/​designers they carry more than it is on the boutique itself.

I have certain dresses from OBVI that I like very much, but the store’s inventory is very hit-​or-​miss for me. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something missing in OBVI… in general the clothes don’t have any «spark». You’d see what I mean if you walk across the street into Nich, where you can get similarly priced items of clothing that are livelier, hipper.
Maybe my opinion is colored because OBVI is suffocatingly pink on the inside, but the clothes rarely inspire me enough to go out of my way and step in.
