We just got back from our daughter’s wedding week– end. All of us stayed at The Hotel Warner and it was great. It was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at, the staff was terrific, and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Thank you for making our perfect week-end even more perfect. A special thanks to Kelly, head of housekeeping, who saved us more than once! Thank you!

West Chester is such a fun little town. This hotel is smack in the middle of it all and is impeccable. Always clean and fresh and the rooms are really nice. Staff is great. Been here ten times and it never disappoints!

I have stayed here two times because it seemed like the nicest/most convenient option when visiting my cousin who attends WCU. I thought it was ok, but nothing extra special. The service was fine — not rude, but didn’t seem particularly interested in going out of their way to help us either. The popcorn machine in the lobby is cute and a nice touch. The rooms are a decent size, the bathrooms are pretty standard, and I would say it’s a clean hotel overall. The beds are relatively comfortable. The AC/heat machine is loud and kicks on and off during the night. On my most recent visit, our room had one of those gauzy curtains covering the whole window, then what seemed like a decorative drape on the side — which did not close all the way, so the sun woke us up in the morning. The wifi was ok — it didn’t work well at all times but was free. Parking is limited, they recommended that we go across the street to the muni lot. I will come back here because it is one of my best options in the WCU area — it’s clean and decently priced. But I wouldn’t rave about it to anyone.

Parking in the hotel is $ 20 a night. Garage is very well lit however, spaces are limited. There are probably 25 spaces total. Request to have the room next to the elevator which should be 102, 202, 302 and 402. The room is huge with a king size bed with a full size couch and still have plenty of room to move around. You won’t hear any elevator noise at all and it does not have any rooms next to it. There is a mini fridge inside the room however, it does not have a microwave. Microwave option is only for the«executive» room. But you can use the microwave in the breakfast area in level 1. Pool is tiny(don’t be fooled by the photo) and it’s opened until 10pm. Fitness center is open 24⁄7. Business center has 2 computers with a printer. Both are located in the ground level. Complimentary breakfast is served daily 6am — 10am which consist of your usual cold foods(cereal, fruits, yogurt etc) and hot foods such as oatmeal, make your own waffle, sandwiches. Complaints: AC unit and fridge were noisy. Free wifi is weak and spotty on my iPhone but the signal tends to be better on my laptop. There is no option to hard wire your laptop. The room door does not automatically close shut behind you. I was in a rush to make my daily dose of coffee and spilled sugar on the table. The cleaning lady cleaned everything and even refilled my coffee station but somehow she missed the spilled sugar on the table. Staffs are friendly especially Tony. Plenty of bars and restaurants within a walking distance and the hotel offers a discount card that you can use for some of the restaurants. Most of the restaurants are in Gay street.

I recently had a wedding in the West Chester Borough and reserved a block of rooms at the Hotel Warner. I was pleased with the service, until the day of… Rooms were prepaid for(way over priced for the quality of room) yet the front desk hassled my guests, telling them they had to pay and put a credit card on their account(even though we took care of both the day before). We prepaid for our guests’ parking at the CHESTNUTSTMUNICIPAL garage, yet they had a parking fee on their charges. When we asked for this to be removed from our rooms, they fought with us. My guests had to call for their wedding guest hotel bags to be brought to their rooms, even though I dropped them off the day before and was told they be delivered to the rooms ahead of time. When a guest called the front desk for toothpaste, they were told to «come down and get it.» What?! The«honeymoon suite» is a room connected by a door to a lounge room. This hotel is over priced, with poor service, and lacking amenities. One can only hope they get some competition in the West Chester Borough soon, because I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s that were better than this hotel.

Nice Hotel, lot of personality. Staff is young and lacking respect for customers. Location is great, lots of restaurants close by. Stay away from Breakfast bar… lots of flies. I even told front desk and nothing was done about it. TV is okay, my room had a shower only(no bath tub). Internet is very lacking. I stayed here for 5 nights, overall I would stay again… JF

This is right next door to my company’s US headquarters so I stayed for an entire week and was very impressed, especially for the rate. The staff is very polite, the rooms are clean and spacious, and they put a lot of effort into conserving water and supplies, for the environment. Being from Austin, I care about that kind of thing. They have a gym, a heated pool, continental breakfast(cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, and coffee), and the location is perfect. There are a ton of bars, restaurants, and even a Starbucks within walking distance from the hotel. Unfortunately there are no trains from the Philly airport and cabs are about $ 75(more with traffic) and they do not have a generator. With all the bad weather this year, the power in West Chester has been going out frequently(including when I was there), so that wasn’t very pleasant. Have you ever taken a freezing cold shower, in the dark? It’s not fun! I definitely recommend this place!

We stayed in a room with two queens for a decent price for two nights. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was really nice(spacious shower). Didn’t trust the breakfast, you’re better off going to one of the local eateries. The parking price for the actual hotel is outrageous, HOWEVER they offer discounted parking in the garage across the street. Totally worth it. They also give you a discount card for a large amount of restaurants and bars downtown which is amazing! Staff was polite. All in all this is a solid place to stay.

Great hotel. I stayed very briefly for work. Good breakfast, exceptional staff, extremely clean rooms. Excellent location — downtown West Chester… a Rite Aid directly across the street which is always handy when you’re traveling. Nice little touch of having free bottled water in the rooms. Highly recommended.
